About the hotel and the rest I can tell a lot and "+" and "-" were. I must say right away that this hotel pulls 95% of the top three.
Before continuing, I want to note a couple of fads... think for yourself what they include:
1) when I go to rest, I don’t eat food... and if it does, then a bunch of inexpensive cafes can be found always and everywhere.
2) shame on us. . . Russians!!!! ! in Tunis, as in many other countries, the staff knows at least 3 languages (more often it is English, German or French). I finally understood why they don’t like us anywhere - because 70% of Russian tourists are just cattle yelling at everyone purely in Russian, and then we are surprised and write about how they don’t like us, don’t respect us and treat us like beasts.
And now about....
We flew without delay, with a soft landing by the Tunisian Cartago (of course, their planes are prehistoric, but the staff is quite friendly).

We got from the airport in 40 minutes, including transportation to other hotels.
The hotel is simple, without pathos, CLEAN. At first, they really handed me the keys to someone else's room (((which confused me a little and almost upset me, but they fixed this awkward situation in five minutes. I got a standard room on the first floor overlooking the street, in the first two days I wanted to change... but then I realized that I didn’t need it, in the evenings there was a noisy animation on the inside of the hotel (I don’t give a damn about it, but it would interfere with my sleep), and I almost didn’t hang out in the room... I just crawled to sleep)))))
I didn’t eat much at all, I rarely went to breakfast, but I attended dinners regularly and I can’t complain, I dined either in a restaurant at the hotel or in local cafes. By the way, in the hotel la_carte they cook very well, and the prices are simply ridiculous... somehow the three of us dined there))) it turned out to be 572 rubles per person. including a tip (80dt) huge portions of goodies (salads, appetizers, meat and various pastas))), water, beer and a smart waiter. . . we ate so we had no energy for dinner. I recommend to try there a snack of octopus with garlic (it costs 12dt), it goes very well with local Celtia beer. Tea at the hotel sucks, it is better to drink in the nearest, preferably not a tour cafe... In the cafes where the "in-laws" go, they have very tasty coffee and tea with mint or pine nuts.
On the 3rd or 4th day I was flooded, the air conditioner dripped so that the room became a small pool))), they fixed it in 5 minutes. Strangely enough, it didn’t cause any inconvenience to me, anything happens especially in the high season. The room was cleaned daily, towels were changed, the dust was wiped off, the bathroom was always clean.

I've never been to the pool, so I can't comment. But the sea pleased, despite the small amount of algae periodically appearing near the shore. The beach is really sown with a mixture of white fine sand and cigarette butts... but about cigarette butts is a separate issue... it's not the staff who puts them there ?? ? the tourists themselves and others spoil their vacation with this...
Not far from the hotel there is a cool club "BORA_BORA", an interesting show, a good house, an amazing atmosphere, dancing on the tables... There will be a mood to go))) the show starts at 1 am and until dawn. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for every taste, a real good hookah. If you are a non-adventurous girl, don't go there alone.
I found myself a Russian company.
Let's summarize:
- the Berbers didn't steal me
- alive, healthy, no food poisoning
- jellyfish did not sting (although it happens there)
- the waiter at the hotel served the same and I think that I got the best, very attentive and smart.
- I don’t know English very well, but that was enough for me to understand almost everything that they say to me and speak myself so that others understand me.
- I plan to enroll in English courses with a native speaker
- I will come to Tunisia again, but already to Hammamet
Learn foreign languages
and remember that only you can spoil your vacation... with your pessimism, whining and rudeness.
Always smile and enjoy life.
Well, in general, that's all.
Have a safe trip and a soft landing!
