I often vacation in Tunisia. There is something to compare with. I am resting here for the first time. I stayed in this hotel in May for 2 weeks. The hotel is well located, the main street is nearby, along it you can walk to the Medina. I took the tour from Coral, everything is fine here. The only thing I noticed was that the guide from the Anex-tour was at the hotel very often, she saw us at the meeting, the next day and that's it. Allegedly, she had to call if necessary. I think I was unlucky with the weather, it was often windy, I went to the sea in a sportswear. Of course, I saved the pool with hot water, part of which is inside in the spa center of the hotel, and part outside, bathed, hot water works wonders with the body. The hotel is very beautiful, Swiss quality is felt, everything is good, furniture, plumbing. Imagine what it looked like when it opened. Now, of course, everything wears out, apparently they cannot support it. I bought a room with a sea view, they gave it on the 6th floor, the sea was visible. The only thing was the noise from the hood. The maid was enraged, amazed at the impudence. She always left 2 dinars, except for 2 days, there was no change, and so these days she came to clean up after 6 pm! . I sent her. I understand that this is a trifle, but unpleasant. The towels were changed, but they were gray and old. Shampoos, gels, everything was replenished. I saw cockroaches in the room, chased them, I was surprised of course. The beach is good, but only a patch at the hotel, then garbage is everywhere, like a visiting card of Tunisia. The beaches are still better in my opinion in Hammamet, praised in Mahdia, but have not been there yet.
The food is good, in the morning a standard set, good fresh juices of 4 types, there were a lot of fruits. I ate too much, as always at that time, strawberries, before, by the way, they gave them whole, there were mountains with whipped cream, now they cut it. Awesome croissants. Lunches and dinners are the same. The wines are good. Here, too, a tip decides a lot, if you don’t want to sit and wait for the waiter, hand it out. The service with them was excellent. From 4 to 5 pm there was a chocolate hour in the lobby bar, where they served chocolate fondue and sweets, very tasty. No animation, apparently this is the concept of the hotel. Although sometimes a saxophonist played in the lobby. I saw girls from fitness, there seemed to be yoga and sports dancing, I didn’t go. The spa is weird. I talked to a woman who wanted to take a set of procedures for several days, so she was told that everything was taken, and to take, according to the procedure separately. I went there only to the sauna, and then one steam room was immediately closed for repairs, apparently so that people, especially Russians, would not hang around in it. I went to the spa at the Tour Halef hotel, here everything is fine with that. Center after renovation, good equipment, clean, pleasant. The employee speaks Russian, explains everything. I love Tunisia very much, I will go there, but I don't want to come here. Of all the hotels, I liked the former Riu Marhaba in Port Kantaui the most. I also want to see the new Concordia Palace Hotel.
