I was in Tunisia for the first time, got to this hotel on a promotion, were in June 2013. I don’t know what the bad reviews about the hotel are, the food was normal and varied, the wine and beer were delicious, the watermelons were fresh, not sluggish, as they wrote below The ice cream is delicious and the staff is friendly. The beach was clean, and the plastic cups that the vacationers themselves brought and left on the beach were somehow imperceptibly taken away by the staff. Yes, the sunbeds are set up in front of you and where you show them, since the beach is not big, it makes no sense for them to be empty.
The room is old, but cozy, in order to spend the night, take a shower enough, the TV was not turned on at all, there was an incident with a refrigerator, when in the evening my husband wanted to put water and vodka to cool in it : ) then there was a fur coat to the very shelves : )) everything was decided simply, they turned off the refrigerator, left it for the night, putting a small basin in it, which they found in the bathroom and laid a towel, in the morning, I washed it (it took 10 minutes) and it worked fine all our vacation. Towels were changed every day, cleaned too normally, wet cleaning was done on the balcony.
Of the minuses, the air conditioning system did not work well or worked only on ventilation, since the beginning of June is not yet the season and it’s not hot. The Internet worked a little strange, the laptop caught in the room, and the iPhone was only in the lobby. And a la carte is some kind of truncated version, either because of the season, or rather not the season, or it’s always like that there, at lunch there was still a choice of dishes, although more expensive than in the city, but tasty, but in the evening it’s just a disaster, we went in the evening with my husband to celebrate my birthday there, and there’s nothing to choose : )) what you don’t ask, you don’t have it, but everything is the same as for dinner : ) only for a fee, so we decided to go to the common room, the waiter laid the table for us beautifully, so the holiday was not spoiled.
We walked around the city almost all day, the town is certainly dirty, and garbage dumps are even shocking, but still got a lot of positive emotions.
In general, we liked Tunisia and are even thinking about visiting again, but for a change in another resort in Tunisia, here, I read reviews and am a little shocked, almost all hotels have negative reviews, it even begins to seem to me that in June we were at the best of them : ))
