Visited Tunisia for the first time. For a long time I chose a hotel from fours and fives. Settled on this. I will say right away: I did not regret the choice.
In order: host: Carthage Travel & Events. The transfer to the hotel from the airport went smoothly. True, the driver untwisted for $ 5 for taking the suitcase to the bus. We laughed, bargained, we immediately understood the specifics of the country - we were going to Sousse. On the way, we stop at various hotels and drop off passengers (our last one on the list). We looked at hotels before ours and, having arrived at Tour Caleb, we immediately realized that we had not lost. The hotel area and the hotel itself are very beautiful.
Accommodation: reminded the guide about the "specificity" (honeymoon) of our trip. The guide girl agreed on everything at the reception and gave a seaview room without extra charge (the sea is visible, but a little bit) with access to the internal hotel territory.

Room on the 4th floor of a 5-storey building. In the room: TV, air conditioning (from 14-00 to 06-00), bath, shower, toilet, refrigerator, balcony, double bed and other furniture. There was no safe in our room. Wi-Fi in the room was caught from the reception (due to the location of the room). By the way, Wi-Fi was periodically disconnected, but for Skype and inactive surfing on the Internet it is enough.
The territory is well maintained with a lot of palms, olives, flowering trees, night lighting, access to the sea at night is closed.
The friendly staff treats Russians a little dismissively, but the phrase "I'm not from Russia! I'm from Ukraine! " and a preliminary "tip" dinar quickly solved this problem. The waiters at the first request brought wine and beer and other cocktails.
Let's get back to the host - Carthage Travel & Events. Great company with good guides. A two-day excursion to the Sahara, meeting the dawn in the desert, quad bikes, jeeps and much more will be remembered for a long time. Definitely worth going there. And, my advice, if you have a different host - try to go with Carthage Travel & Events. According to the reviews of other tourists, "our" tour was more interesting and eventful. The tour (initial fee) is a little more expensive, but everything is already included in the price (except for camels, quads and hang gliders).
Food: I ate tasty and a lot. I did not like the cooking, but there was a lot of meat (usually poultry), pork appeared periodically, always fish, and sometimes shrimp and octopus. There was plenty to choose from.
Departure from Tunisia was in the evening, and check-out from the room - 12-00. Things could be put in a storage room at the hotel (free of charge), but we decided to extend the room until 18-00 for 50 dinars (25 euros), which we also did not regret - we swam and rested until 16-00 without thinking about anything, accepted before leaving the shower.
The specifics of the country's population: for any positive action in your address, a tip is expected. We, as a rule, gave 1 dinar and only sometimes 2 or more. Dealers must be handled with the utmost care and caution. In no case do not give them money and try not to even pick up a product that you are not interested in - they will not leave you behind. But you can bargain almost anywhere and anytime.

The sea is warm (25 degrees). Jellyfish began to appear, which sting unpleasantly, but my burns went away within an hour. Who has an allergic reaction - more difficult.
In general, we really liked the hotel and the country!
