We flew from Moscow in early August. In Moscow it was under 40 and very smoky, they literally ran away. My husband and I thought that we were flying to Africa and it would be even hotter there, we were wrong on this, the temperature in Tunisia was about 32 during the day and 20 at night, a cool breeze was blowing from the sea all the time, the sea is warm - in general, the climate is mild and pleasant even in August.
We flew with the Globus airline, the plane was a Boeing, the flight was comfortable, the crew was normal, takeoff and landing were flawless.
We arrived at 8.10 am local time, were delivered to the hotel quickly (about 20 minutes). Arrived early, check in only at 12, had to wait 4 hours in the lobby hungry and tired from the road. At the beginning, they settled in the old building (refrigerator, safe, hairdryer, TV - for an additional fee), but because I took a course of thalassotherapy, settled in a new building, where all of the above is free of charge, plus bathrobes and slippers are provided. The room was nice, spacious and overlooking the sea. The room was cleaned and the towels were changed regularly, left twice for a dinar. Good local Celtia beer, we didn't really like the wine.

Thalassotherapy: The spa in this hotel is not bad, a Russian-speaking doctor advises before the procedures. The cheapest course of procedures is 470 dinars (1 dinar approximately 25 rubles). This is 3 treatments per day (hydromassage, algae wrap in the SPA-capsule, full massage with oils) for 4 days. The skin after the procedures is silky! You can take separate procedures, prices from 30 dinars.
The animation is primitive, but the children like it.
The audience is diverse - about 40% are Russians, there are many young people, there are vacationers from Algeria, Libya, but there are few of them (they still have women in hijabs), pensioners from France, families from Poland, Germany.
We went on an excursion to Carthage, there is something to see. Positive feedback about the trip to the Sahara. We were not there, because. only rested for a week.
There is especially nowhere to have fun in Sousse, there are very few good restaurants where we were - the food was disgusting and expensive. Nice cafe right next to the hotel. The famous Bora-Bora disco just sucks! Once we went there, we were told a price of one hundred dinars (2500 rubles), supposedly some super DJ was playing, but you can hardly find such entry prices in Moscow. The next day we went, the entrance was free, there were very few people with an abundance of security. The tables were all empty, but we were not allowed to sit at them. Tables are only for those who order vodka or whiskey at least a bottle, and this is again about a hundred dinars, beer or wine does not count - drink your beer while standing : (
I was struck by two things: 1) on the street they repeatedly offered drugs very persistently, despite the fact that they have very strict laws regarding this matter; 2) our compatriots come to the restaurant with big bags to steal fruit in kolograms, like in a tihar, the waiters allegedly do not see, but the staff and vacationers see everything perfectly, they are silent. The question arises: why is there such an attitude towards Russians ?? ? We were terribly ashamed of Russey, no one else did such things. One couple of years over 40 was especially different.

Conclusion: the main advantage is a mild climate, a warm clear sea, a sandy well-groomed beach. It’s boring, however, if you wish, everyone can find something for themselves. For the sake of active recreation and entertainment, we wouldn’t go there a second time, but to take a break from the hustle and bustle, swim in the warm and clear sea, soak up the SPA procedures - this is welcome. But in this hotel, despite the fact that nothing bad was observed there, I don’t want to return, next time we’ll go to Djerba. Thank you for your attention
