I think that people who write rave reviews about Tour Khalef (Tour Khalifa) 4 *
fall into three main categories. The first is the "party-goers" who do not particularly care what room to sleep in, whether the service and food are of high quality, the main thing is the proximity to the city and discos where you can have fun. Regarding the second category, most likely these are people who have not seen anything better and cleaner. They were not in hotels that really deserve admiration. In no case do I write about these people with disdain, indeed, not everyone can afford to spend another 10 thousand to buy a tour. And someone just squint. He got used to living at home in conditions close to the TC, which is why he spends extra money. In a familiar environment, it is somehow more comfortable.
So my review is for others.
FOR THOSE WHO UNDERSTAND.

Without emotions I will write simply - badly. Arrived on 09/06/2011, arrived at the hotel at 10 pm. We were ordered to run to the restaurant, maybe something will be left to eat. Come running, canteen. On the table are the remains of vegetables, obviously not fresh. And it's all? The uncle in a dirty waiter uniform thought and condescended to start throwing dishes with leftover food from the cupboard (and asking for the word "leftovers"). From everything offered, more or less seemed edible overdried french fries and sausages, which then, sorry, caused a violent burp with a corresponding smell for the whole evening. Alright, time to room. At the reception, the manager, as soon as they asked “who will bring things, ” immediately stopped understanding Russian. “Where to go at least in which direction? ” He waved his hand over there. They grabbed the luggage and went in the direction, wandered around for a while in search of a room, returned and, already on the nerve, demanded a porter, or at least the local Ivan Susanin. I called someone, a fidgety young man surfaced and led us. The first thing they involuntarily paid attention to was that everyone was somehow unwashed or something, everyone’s uniform was somehow stale. The second shock, the elevator, the twitching, rattling conscientious elevator. We went out into the corridor: shabby corridors, doors, walls, directly a sanatorium built in the 70s, which after the 90s remained without repair.
The room was booked for an additional fee in advance in Moscow, in the thalasso building, because. they are better there, there is a refrigerator, a hair dryer and a safe. Only these numbers are better. The rest is just as shabby and tattered. We were still lucky, one lady, entering her room, found a warehouse there. By the way, keep in mind, for those who still love extreme sports and go to this hotel, there are some “tongues” in the lock, so when you close the door with a key (there are no electronic keys here), you need to make sure that this “tongue” not jumped out, otherwise the door will remain open. But the most interesting thing is that we were warned that even if we follow this process, there is still a risk of being robbed, because the maids do not follow this....When I read about “clean linen, a chic room, etc. ” I sob. Especially about linen that stinks terribly of bleach and is almost full of holes from it. Creepy "wooden" mattresses and the same "comfortable" pillows. Having tormented the night in the morning, they persuaded themselves “well, what to do now, well, they’ve gone crazy, the main thing is the sea, thalasso....well, we’ll be patient....” Further acquaintance with the hotel: really beautiful and large territory, really very convenient location, located between the Medina and the Port, the proximity of shops, etc. But the rest... Do not believe the information on some sites about the availability of beach towels here and issuing them against a deposit. They are not here and never have been! (according to the guide). And yet, for "all inclusive" water is free only carbonated, you need to buy drinking water! So if there are problems with the gastrointestinal tract....Another tea impressed. You pour hot (not boiling water) water from an ordinary cooler, stuff a dubious bag into it and get a plastic spoon. Hall: dirty, not washed everything, the armrests of the chairs are stained, the tables are stained with something....Tip: when choosing a hotel, ask who owns it (meaning Germans, French... or Arabs) Believe me, this matters.
In general, we decided to move, phoned the agency, found us another hotel that met our requirements, we paid extra $ 300 for it (DO NOT SAVE when buying a tour, it's worth it), paid a fine (MEAN PAYS TWICE) and left this disgrace. The only good memory of the daily stay in TK is our guide Irina. Thanks to her professionalism, responsiveness and patience, we were able to quickly resolve this conflict situation and quickly move.
In addition, throughout our stay in the country, Irina helped us, even when we lived in another hotel and she no longer had the slightest relation to us. We could call her at any time, and thanks to Irina we were guided by a variety of issues.

In Riu Imperial Marhaba, where we moved, everything was great! Unforgettable impressions remained from the courses passed in the thalasso center. But that's another story……
