Tour Khalef belongs to the Marhaba chain. Everyone who lives in Tour Khalef can freely use the territory of the neighboring 3 hotels of the same chain (Marhaba Beach, Marhaba Resort, Marhaba Club).

All the hotels together is a fairly large area with swimming pools, water slides, bars. The only thing is that you can only use the restaurant of your hotel. There is no direct passage to the Beach, Resort and Club territories, you need to go beyond the Tour Khalef territory in order to go to them or walk along the coast.

I had a thalasso room, I liked it. Modern furniture and plumbing.

I have stayed in many hotels in Tunisia, and some of them had either a bad drain in the sink / bath, or problems in the shower (it flows from both the watering can and the faucet at the same time). I got the impression that these are the weak points of Tunisian hotels. But in Tour Khalef, the plumbing worked properly. There is also a hair dryer in the bathroom, so you do not need to take it with you.

Another weak point everywhere is Wi-Fi.
Therefore, the fact that the promised free Wi-Fi throughout Tour Halef is not always and not always caught, did not surprise me (((

But what surprised me was the free safe in the room. Many hotels charge extra for this. fee ...New TVs are installed in the room, which is also not found everywhere, even in 4 * hotels.

And after settling in, I head to the beach. The territory is pretty.

I find out that beach towels are not provided at the hotel. At the pools and by the sea, tourists either use towels they bring with them, or buy them at a local store.

There are no conspicuous signs where the road to the beach is. The waiters suggest that you need to go to the left of the "All inclusive" bar and turn towards the sea there.

The beach is wide and clean:

Umbrellas, sunbeds and mattresses on the beach are free.

In the morning, animation is carried out on the beach in the form of gymnastics, and in the evening, not far from the pool, in the form of dance lessons. For some reason, only women always participate.
Before the beach you need to take off your shoes and leave your slippers. They say this is necessary so as not to spoil the sand, that is, to preserve the ecosystem.

The pool has an "All inclusive" bar, which I have already mentioned. There you can take pancakes with chocolate, chips, tea and coffee, wine, beer, cocktails. A local cocktail "Tour Halef" is also offered.

But there were always queues in this bar. Queues were observed in other bars, as well as for breakfast, if you arrive before 9 am. Breakfast is delicious, but the choice seemed small to me. There are no freshly squeezed juices. From fruits oranges and peaches. The strawberries are already gone. I watched the breakfast waiter wipe the crumbs off the table with his hand to set the table…

The hotel has its own Thalasso Center for an additional fee. There is a jacuzzi, a pool with hydromassage and a Charcot shower, a gym, a hammam, a sauna, a relaxation room with herbal tea (I drank chamomile).

For each client who buys procedures, free access to the hammam, sauna and gym is provided. Separately, the procedures cost, for example, a hamam + scrub, a sauna, a swimming pool - each for 40 dinars (approx. 800 rubles).

The hotel is very well located near the medina and close to shops and cafes. Our group was brought in to buy souvenirs at the Soula shopping center. There are fixed prices on the goods. Some people find it more convenient.

But since we had 1 hour of time, we went to Medina. There in the shops you can buy everything cheaper, but be sure to bargain! Olive oil, soap and dates were bought at the local Monoprix store. Walk from the Tour Khalef hotel along the sea (in the opposite direction from the Medina) on foot for about 30 minutes, and by taxi - only 5 minutes! The cost of the trip is 2 dinars (about 40 rubles).
I also note that there are a lot of Russians and Englishmen in the hotel, and given the all-inclusive food system, some spend the evenings quite cheerfully ...In general, a good hotel: good repair in the rooms, clean beach, good location in the center of Sousse.
