good afternoon everyone.
I immediately apologize for the peculiar style of writing and spelling - I write a lot - there is no time to edit.
it so happened that half a year had passed since the trip - still there was no time to sit down for a review. and now - soon again on the road - and found the strength in myself - to share my experience - thanks to the reviews, it was the rest that took place. well, let's get started.
We are a young couple, without children, from Kyrgyzstan. flew to Turkey through a Tez-tour, for 11 days for two in Adonis at the end of September they paid $ 2200 for 2. it was our first trip outside the homeland - which is already very small. they fly from kyrgyzstan and kazakhstan by charter through the Skat airline - to put it mildly, they are not impressed with either the airport in almaaten or the airline itself - they flew in and flew out - and okay, a typical low-cost air carrier - there is not even a website as such.

flew in September for 2 reasons: cheaper (since July, so much) 2- not so hot. of course, we are southern people - we can’t be scared by the heat, but when we flew away, I realized in horror that I didn’t know anything about the heat. On September 26 it was +39, in my homeland and higher, but such humidity - that we got to the bus so far - I was all wet. By the way, for those who wish to save extra money, I bought a roll of cling film at home for $ 1.5 and it was just enough for us for 2 suitcases than paying $ 8-10 for each at the airport. The desk for the tour is located directly opposite the exit from the airport premises. the airport itself is huge and very pleasant and understandable - do not get lost. at the counter of the mezzanine of the tour are its representatives - nearby - in a row - competitors. register - you are told which bus to go to and you are on your way. 25 minutes from the airport and you are at the hotel.
So - Antalya Adonis Hotel. generally appears in advertisements for the mez tour as 5 *, for some as 4 * +. in Turkey, city hotels are devoid of stardom, but according to my feelings the hotel is not 5 of course, but 4 for sure. upon arrival, they immediately approached Ekaterina, the girl is sitting right at the table opposite the entrance. if it is not there, but arrived in the afternoon, we advise you to ask it, look for it. Thanks to her, we got into a room on the 10th floor (1010) this is the best room in the hotel with a view of the sea and the coast, not a side room, not a one-room number like on the lower floors, but a 2-room one - the decoration can be seen in the photo. the carpet is clean - the furniture is not peeled off, the plumbing does not leak - 2 balconies with a table and chairs on them - a pleasant and rather modest room. cleaned every day, at about 11. the air conditioner is common, it turns on in the room when you pull out the key card, you can turn it on from the remote control. Cooled well - no noise. no complaints at all. By the way, about the card. Many believe that in order to turn on the light, you need to insert a key card. if you go for lunch, for example, and your smartphone is dead again, and you leave it on charge, and leave, you will still come to the discharged one. the solution is simple - any cardboard business card will do - which closes the contacts and the light remains in the room. By the way, once the key card refused to open the room, they changed it to the reception without any problems.
no tip was paid to anyone. once or 2 times left the maid for 0.5 lira for cleaning. she always cleaned the same way - change of linen every 3 days - if shampoos and soap ran out - added, always smiled and greeted - we answered the same.
about the Turks and the staff. my homeland is an Asian country, although I am Russian, but our mentality is still more eastern. having read about the cheeky behavior of the Turks, he was ready to fight with everyone there. in fact: in our hotel, only the bartenders were cheeky - spoiled by drunkenness - who arali them - hey - let's pour! . one waiter tried to flirt with my girlfriend without me - she just didn't notice. and despite the long legs and shorts I can’t get smaller, I never met sideways glances next to her. Turks are never ready to lick your heels for your money. but if you smile at them and say hello, they will answer the same. interesting nation, with dignity. Pure Asians respect strength and dignity. familiarity and openness are regarded as weakness. in the end, we liked the Turks. for all the time we did not see a single drunk in antalya.

Adonis - the hotel is not for tourists with children - although there is a "paddling pool" for children by the pool - but they can’t swim in the sea - the hotel stands on a stone shore - stairs and an elevator go down (always worked) - a platform for sun loungers and a descent into the sea - Depth is 3 meters. the water is very warm and very salty - well, it’s just poison - fortunately I brought both a mask and a tube to Turkey - by the way, it feels like some kind of salty springs beat near Adonis - when you dive - sometimes the water is muddy - this happens, for example, when you are in a clean dissolve salt in water - on the city beach the water is not so salty. the water is clean - swimming is interesting - a little further from the shore - fish the size of a palm - in shoals. if you swim to the left 100 meters (behind the neighboring boarding house), then there will be a small grotto. on the very first evening they bought a mask and a tube for a girl, bargained for 20 lire - she never took them off - and it’s beautiful to dive - and the salt does not corrode the eyes - and water does not get into her mouth. just above the fresh water shower area - wash off the salt and a dressing room. sunbeds - were - but we did not lie - we are not interested in tanning - we are southern people)))
territory: in principle, you can say it is not. but everything you need is there. the pool is not small, but not huge, clean, there are sun loungers around. slide - open 2 hours before lunch and 2 after. to be honest, we often went to the pool and to the hill - only we mostly rode - I don’t know how anyone - but it was great for me - it’s a pity the hill is not very big. there is a paid restaurant where they play a wedding on weekends. we played 1 time, but we didn’t see anyone, because we didn’t sit in the hotel, and we didn’t see the guests. The hotel has a leather shop. it is led by a woman from the Caucasus. as an acquaintance, you can bring her scanwords, someone said that she loves them. leather shop is expensive - we don't need leather - bags too. the hostess tried to “blame” us for a trip to the leather factory, but we are smart, well-read, what kind of scam is this. in general, we quickly became uninteresting to her, so by the end of the rest she did not notice us point-blank and did not greet us. and we didn't worry. on the minus 1 floor - dining room - a story about food will be later. on the minus 2 floor - sauna (free of charge) - swimming pool and gym. the hall is small - everything is there - there are no people in it. The pool is beautiful but cold. in the sauna +89 degrees in total - not hot. showers nearby. there is a massage for a fee and a hammam - you can order a girl to wash it - for some man to wash my girl - again - it’s not customary with us. but we refused. in the bathhouse / massage room (or, as they say, in a fashionable spa salon), one of the assistants was a Russian girl - whose name we don’t remember point-blank - she went all 10 days in the same place - and bothered everyone - to try - they say she organizes everything. we avoided - we were not interested. on the -3rd floor there is a mini fountain, a billiard table (one), darts, a mini-library. outside there are 2 ping-pong tables and a basketball hoop. almost always everything was free. everything is clean and unobtrusive. in the lobby - free drinks in the bar and 2 computers (free of charge) - there is no Russian keyboard. Representatives of travel agencies meet with tourists there.
nutrition.
I can say: 5 out of 5 and then you can not read. if more: buffet always. that's true, there was no 2nd dinner, even though it was announced at 11 at night. alcohol is poured from 10 am to 11 am. hotel level "all inclusive" - ie free local alcohol. we drank local wine from alcohol (sour) and I drank gin and tonic 2 times. in principle, if you do not drink, there is no point in overpaying for "ultra all inclusive". and so-coffee-tea-sprite (there it is called Frukogiv mi pliz that fruko visa ice pliz))) in general, they spoke English everywhere and everywhere with all the servants. the school curriculum turned out to be enough everywhere - well, the Turks had the same account as the Kyrgyz one - it was convenient for us to bargain with the Turks. there was meat - mostly poultry - but there was also beef a few times. pancakes and puree soups were awesome, and what sweets - in Adonis sweets - his strong point - they always collected full plates. It is better not to take salads with mayonnaise - once it was not fresh. in general, an interesting principle of non-waste production: in the morning cutting sausage - in the afternoon it is for salads - in the evening the same sausage is fried with beans and peas, for example))). a lot of cheese, olives, breakfast cereals in the morning, cocoa, yogurt, ayran, jam of 6 kinds, chocolate, honey, from fruit in September there were plums, apples, grapes and watermelons. we had enough. there were always tables in the dining room - they may not be cleaned super quickly - but the waiters are always clean - tidy - they run around - they clean, the dishes are clean, the tablecloths are also (read about other hotels) the choice of bread - 6 varieties. Of course, on day 11 we have a lot in order pall, but it's not the hotel's fault, for example, sweets and fried meat with fries were always there and never got bored. we all wanted to go to McDonald's - at least try what it is - and for which half of the world scolds him - but we were always full. for all the time, there was never a desire to dine anywhere else - the food was so good. we came most often to the closing of the dining room - often left the last - and even after the official closing, as we constantly fled from walks, walks, excursions. no one has ever asked us to finish and get out, they say the dining room is closed. the assortment was replenished all the time - there was no such thing - tourists came - they ate all the meat - who was late - eats up what is left. in any case, in September 12, it was like that : ) on the street at 11 they started baking cakes at the fountain - they didn’t like it at all - after our tandoor cakes and sams - Turkish cakes with dzhusai and meat / cheese are inedible. who was in Central Asia will understand me : ). at lunch you could also eat on the summer terrace - the choice is poorer - but you can sit in swimsuits (you can’t in the dining room - which I think is right)

about tourists.
I was ashamed of the Russians. and it's a shame that I'm Russian - it felt like half of the Russians never left the hotel - and moved from bar to bar and burned in the sun in between. well, even after lights out, the drunken brethren drunkenly yelled something incomprehensible - like "sang" - and interspersed - "tagiil". Fortunately, there were also enough pleasant compatriots. but approximately 90% of tourists are foreigners. mostly - to spend the night - most of them are Europeans. the Spaniards especially killed - this is generally something with something. Russians are gold compared to them. The staff doesn't know much Russian, except for Katerina (at the entrance), the owner of the leather shop and the girl from the spa. bartenders do not count, how are you bro will not help you.
hotel location
quiet area, called Lara, first line. there are a lot of cafes nearby - if you leave the hotel and to the left, then after 100 meters there is a park with turtles in ponds and palm trees, after another 500 meters - the water park at the Dedeman hotel - but it closes in early September. a lot of shopping malls in the area. you can find normal prices - for example, I bought myself several T-shirts for 5 lire - good quality. they bought a girl a blouse a la "zara" for 10 lira, there are good Turkish shoes of the 1FLO brand - prices are fixed everywhere - leather shoes can be bought for 60-100 lira, a girl bought cool leather ankle boots for 120 lira - very cheap - so in shopping centers prices are fixed - but often available. on Saturdays there is a big street market. do not listen to hotel guides!! ! THE MARKET IS! food - things - magnets - the choice is very large - everything is cheap - often everything is fake))) if you leave Adonis - then to the right - there will be a market on a parallel street - you won’t miss it. if you leave the hotel and go straight to the main road and turn left after 150 meters - there will be 2 supermarkets in a row - they work until 10 pm - they don’t understand Russian there - they don’t sell alcohol in one - the prices are adequate. bought chips, juices and fruits. Turkish fruits are disappointing. . .

attractions
the main route to the city is by bus 08 - black ones - they go until 11 pm. entrance through the front door - payment of 1.70 lira, into the city - a stop across the road. exit through the middle or back door - to open the door for you - you need to press the red button on the handrail at the entrance - in advance before stopping. in the center - the old town - kaleici, a tourist port, at half 9 in the evening (or at 8 - I don’t remember anymore) near the port of the singing fountain show. there is a large coliseum in antalya within the city limits, but we didn’t have enough time to find it...
I advise you to download an antalya map for your navigator in advance - I have Navitel drawn everything in advance - they never got lost and did not ask anyone for directions - there are enough reviews and a navigator in a smartphone. you can get to the city center - and get off at the bus stop - which will be to the cemetery - there you can find a regular bus - where it will be written Duden Shalesi - I don’t remember the route number - but 2 buses go there. We are talking about the Dü den waterfall or the Upper Dü den. tour operators do not seem to carry tourists there, mostly locals. it is quiet there - the waterfall is very picturesque - there is a cave under it - purely cultural. entrance if I'm not mistaken, for foreigners 2.5 lira. we knew about the waterfall from the guide teztour, a very pleasant Turkish woman. according to the navigator, they found on the map a historical museum near it, the final tram, not new, but touristic, in retro style. you can walk from the singing fountains along the coast in 25 minutes. hand over things at the entrance to the storage room - a ticket - if I'm not mistaken - 10 lire per person. for another 15 lire - there are tape recorders - you can rent it - from many statues - you dial a number on a tape recorder - it tells the story of the find, 5 languages - including Russian. discovered only after the end of the tour (((the museum is quite large and interesting.
at the exit from the museum, the picturesque rocky shore ends and the city beach begins, sunbeds are paid, you can swim for free. the shower is also free, there are changing rooms nearby. at the very beginning of Alyada - a diving center and what is called Deep ski - in the price of the tour it costs $ 135 on the spot 100 lire - which is almost 2 times cheaper - a kind of underwater scooters. diving is also cheaper. did not swim, we do not know the quality. along the beach, a park and a cafe. empty in September. on the penultimate day walking through the park at the very end found a kart! this is an indescribable feeling - it costs 10 lira for 8 minutes - it will be enough for you to get a dose of adrenaline overwhelmed - drive to your heart's content. cheap - fast - drive. the biggest disappointment that we found on the last day...

the park ends and rests on the highway and the hotel - near this hotel - Aquapark and Dolphinarium. cost 45 lira for the whole day. there is a left-luggage office for things and valuables. we were there all day, we rolled in plenty, it’s not worth going there with an operator’s tour. I don’t remember the opening hours, like from 10 am to 5 pm, but not all attractions are open at once - many work 3-4 hours. I advise you to take masks as we do - water does not flood your face and nose : ) right in front of the park - Antalya Aquarium. open until 10 pm. costs 45 (50) lire? opened at the end of August 12, not all aquariums were open, not all fish grew up, especially sharks))) in general, interesting, but not exciting. I understand that it is expensive to keep fish, but IMHO, the price is not worth it. and the main thing is not to get on buses with Russian tourists - screaming, running around. loose fish. that the fish are afraid of flashes, too, everyone doesn’t give a damn. you can't take a picture with a shark - a lot of people. the best way is to wait. like all excursions, they have a maximum of an hour... on the 3rd floor there is an attraction with artificial snow. Well, this is probably only a curiosity for tourists from Africa? )))
Literally 100 meters below the aquarium and opposite the water park, the minicity complex is in miniature, all the architectural sights of Turkey are in miniature. entrance - I don’t remember the cost, but a penny. The layouts are beautiful and large. there is a machine near each layout - 5 languages - including Russian - you press - and the machine tells the story. unexpectedly it turned out that just the minicity complex turned out to be much more interesting than the aquarium. sorry that it was getting dark, I had to run at a gallop. I advise you to visit if you are interested in the architecture and history of Turkish cities.
as you understand, all this is located on the same street, which goes to the coast. you can get there on the same bus 08 from Adonis - stop - Migros shopping center - the largest in Antalya - and in many ways very expensive. do not pass by, because at this stop there is a fairly large amusement park with attractions. on the opposite side of the intersection there is a large park with fountains and something like an antalya cinema house. If you go down from the Migros shopping center, you will get to a bus stop plying along the Kemer-antalya route. even lower - on the same side - an aquarium and a minicity. 2-3 days for all the wealth will take you at least.
tours

in many cities it is sometimes beneficial to look for excursions "on the side" - and not from your tour operator (judging by the reviews). maybe this is true somewhere, but believe me, this is not so for Antalya. in any case, with the excursions of the tour. if you do not take city attractions such as a water park, an aquarium or diving, which is within walking distance, everything else costs at least the same, they were specifically looking for, they thought to save. the offer, for example, in mira-kekova for the whole day included: to the church of st. the price included tickets. the rest - without tickets - a guide and the devil knows what. but with the second trip, the representative of the teztour screwed up - and spoiled the rest of our vacation - we chose river rafting - the departure time is at 7-30 in the morning, a lunch package from the hotel is ordered when traveling until 7 in the morning. got up - call - in non-Russian - excursion - time 6.10 minutes. We thought it was a wake-up call. got together and had breakfast. At 7:30 no one came for us. as it turned out later, at 6 am the tour driver arrived. Fortunately, the money was returned to us ($ 90 for 2) - but the mood was spoiled. do not be afraid and boldly approach the representatives of other tour operators - Pegasus and Anexture prices are about the same - you can compare immediately - but there are "exclusive" excursions. it’s a pity we didn’t get on time - the anextur had an excursion to the Aegean Sea with feeding turtles and catching crabs. Do not listen to the representative of your tour operator - the main thing is to take his contacts, the price list for excursions and understand the order of departure and the timing of departure - this is very important. and remember - insurance in Turkey is good - but it is not valid - if you are drunk. it happened in a nearby hotel - a man in a state of intoxication fell down the stairs - as a result - a complex fracture of the pelvis - you can’t take it - an operation in a private clinic $ 6500 - a tour operator found a state clinic for $ 3000, + rehabilitation in Turkey for 3 months. The man was supposed to fly out the next day. I was drunk and the insurance did not cover the treatment. like this. . .
nuances - they saw the police, no one ever asked for documents, a voucher - no one needed a candy wrapper. it is better to change money for lira if you walk around antalya and use public transport. even 50 lira - a large bill - will be checked for authenticity. in banks it is better to change, but the exchange rate is not very profitable. withdraw money through ATMs - we had a bank - a member of the Unicredit group - a network of 23 countries including Russia - Kazakhstan - Kyrgyzstan - no commission. Hotel Adonis is a very good hotel - we miss it very much. but only suitable for those who will travel around the city. since it’s impossible to sunbathe in the hotel for a long time, and there are no parks and so-called “animation” there at all (they say it was from June to August)
as a conclusion. It seems to me that there is nothing to do in Turkey in the summer - it is too hot and humid. May and September-October is the best time. We really liked the hotel-town. remember that everywhere, except for large supermarkets, you need to bargain. for example in the port when you rent a boat. I won’t write about the old city and the port, the review is already too huge.
Turkey-Antalya is a land where it is clean, there are no stray dogs and a lot of cats, palm trees and a lot, a lot of romance. if you go there for a beach holiday, a week is enough. but there's more to it than beaches and the sea, and it's more - much more than a "week". our 11 days of rest flew by unnoticed, and we didn’t have enough)))
the total amount of the trip, absolutely with all expenses, gifts and excursions, amounted to $ 3.000 for 2. ahead and very soon we will discover a country that has not yet been explored for us - near the equator where we fly ourselves - without a tour operator, and I hope that I can write a review. In the meantime - I hope that my review will be useful to someone. I post a few photos for the general impression : ) everyone have a nice holiday! : )
