Hello everybody! Across the country there was an abnormal heat and only in the Urals - an abnormally cold summer, which had not been seen for 130 years. . . The Arctic cyclone kept circling over our land and was not going to go away, making me sad - sadness from gray clouds and cold wind and hopes for warm days melted away day by day. . . So that the long-awaited summer, all the same, is remembered and not lost "for nothing", I decided to fly to the warm sea and the bright sun for the second time during the season. If summer doesn't come to us, we fly to it! Decided! The choice again fell on the Turkish coast, on Antalya, which has not yet been fully explored and so beloved. . . According to her desire and budget, she could choose a city economy hotel. In last-minute tours, the cheapest was a tour to the Benna 2 * hotel: for 7 nights - 24 thousand from Perm. Of course, not so cheap, but August is the most holiday season and the peak of the most expensive prices for tours. I found very little information about the hotel on the Internet, only a few of the same photos, a brief description and some conflicting reviews. So I went into the unknown with great apprehension, I didn’t expect anything good from the “kopeck piece”, if only I had somewhere to spend the night. . . What was my surprise when I saw the hotel! The appearance of the building, the courtyard, the garden, the recreation area - everything is home-like, cozy, beautiful, conducive to relaxation. And most importantly - the hospitality and diligence of the hotel staff and its owner Vedat. I must say right away that there is no "evil mistress" about which tourists wrote in reviews over the past years. Now the owner of the hotel is Vedat. He rents the hotel from the "evil mistress. " I would like to write about Vedat separately. This is the first time I see such a hotel owner. Usually they are arrogant, they will not even turn their heads towards the guests of their hotel. Vedat is exactly the opposite: hospitable, sociable, knows each hotel guest by name, sits down with them at the same table, talks "for life". . He gets up before everyone else in the hotel and starts doing housework. . . He does not shun any work: either he washes the floors in the hall, then he takes care of the turtles in the fountain-pool, then he helps the waiters clear the dishes from the tables. . . He himself meets tourists coming to the hotel at the reception desk, serves at the bar. . . It can be seen that this is the owner who "sick with his soul" for ensuring that the guests are satisfied with the rest and would return to Bennu more than once. He speaks good Russian, with any question - to him. . . Well, this is a slight digression from the topic.... now for the hotel. ROOM. She lived alone in a double room. Everything is simple but clean. Wet cleaning - every day (and the balcony is washed, which is a rarity in hotels). Change of towels - every day. Towels and bed linen are white. An old TV, there are two Russian channels. In the closet - a safe with a key - $ 2. / day . There is no refrigerator, but upon request it will be brought to your room, also 2 dollars per day. The bathroom is small, but you can get used to it. There is a hair dryer. Liquid soap is plentiful. There is a local radio in the room, I listened to Turkish music according to my mood. There are no mosquitoes! I didn’t even use fumitox! A small balcony overlooking a garden with banana plantations, lemon trees and various bushes. And, of course, with a view of neighboring residential buildings. TERRITORY. The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery: oleander, limes, lemons, hibiscus. . . The entrance is an arch-tunnel entwined with bougainvillea. . In a small area, everything is thought out and arranged so that there is a place for a pool, a small garden, a recreation area, a summer restaurant and a bar, a cozy patio, etc. The lounge is interestingly decorated - in the style of the 60s. Here, on a retro-cabinet with books and magazines, a parrot sits in a cage. The pool is of a normal size for such a hotel, not big and not small (in the neighboring "troikas" the pools are much smaller), around it are sun loungers with mattresses and soft seats - pillows. Everything is clean. Depth from 1 m 80 cm and deeper, I can’t say for sure, but vacationers dived from the sides - that means deep. . . The water is warm and clean and does not smell of chlorine. There is a compartment for babies. By the pool are different watercraft that you can take . In the evenings, in the recreation area where the tennis table is, a fragrant bush (jasmine? ) begins to smell strongly. About the cozy patio: everything here is conducive to relaxation. There are tables where you can have breakfast, dinner and just sit. The fountain attracts attention, where red-eared turtles live, very funny. They stick their heads out of the water, begging for sausage (they are carnivores), and during the day they crawl out onto the pebbles and bask in the sun. It's interesting to watch them. The entire foyer is furnished with flowering plants in pots. NUTRITION. Breakfast at the hotel starts at 7 o'clock. mornings, dinners at 6 pm. evenings. Breakfasts are traditional, as elsewhere, in any hotel. Baking - biscuit or buns made of unleavened dough with curd filling, very tasty. There was vegetable stew, rolls with cottage cheese. Always watermelon. For dinner, the tables are beautifully covered with tablecloths and cutlery. The menu is different every day. Beef meat, of course, is very expensive in Turkey, you won’t see it in more star hotels, but chicken, liver, fish have always been in turn. The waiters (a girl and a boy) serve dishes to each in portions, the dishes are cleaned on time. And the portions are large , eat up " from the belly " . Always soup for dinner, main course, dessert. For dessert - a mix of fruits, twice in my seven days they gave ice cream with a cake in bowls, which is very unexpected for a hotel of this level. Dinners are very tasty and filling. Everything is cooked by a very nice woman - Ferida. Thank you Ferida! I can’t write anything about the bar and alcohol, because I don’t drink alcohol. But I photographed the price list with the prices of drinks. I think that the prices are quite loyal, I noticed that in the city center in cafes - the same. Lunches can be ordered at the hotel, it will cost approximately 15 liras, fish - 20 liras. And you can have lunch in the nearest cafes, and in the center, no problem. Near the hotel (as you go to the beach - on the corner) there is a SOK store, there is very cheap water - 40 kurush for 1.5 liters (for a promotion). Fruits are also sold there, but in the nearest street shops the fruits are riper and larger, although more expensive (in Soke, for example, peaches cost 4 liras per kg, in shops - 6 liras). I did not go to the markets, somehow there was no particular need. And most importantly, the hotel staff is very democratic about the fact that tourists bring water and food into the hotel with string bags! Nobody is banned. In other city hotels, this is strictly monitored and they are not allowed to bring food to the room, only for everyone to buy in the hotel. SEA and BEACH. To the beach from the hotel go right, a little straight, then left. You can already see the sea there. The whole journey will take 5 minutes slowly, only 200-300 meters. Municipal beach. There are sun loungers, you can always find free ones. There are no umbrellas. There is a shower. There are a lot of Turks on the beach, they come with whole families, sit right on the pebbles, sit and eat all day and until late at night. With tourists coexist peacefully. In general, life on the beach "boils" at night. I myself wasn’t (I was very tired from daytime walks to different places in Antalya), but tourists from the hotel said that a lot of people swim in the sea at night and relax on the beach, since the embankment is illuminated, and there are many different restaurants and cafes around. The beach is pebbly and relatively clean. The depth in the sea starts from 3-4 meters from the shore. In the morning the sea was often calm and clear, and after lunch it was always a little stormy and the water became dirty and muddy, some kind of suspension of unknown origin, grass, etc. , floated. . . You have to go to the sea through a busy, two-way highway. There is a zebra crossing, there is a pedestrian sign, but not a single car will stop to let pedestrians through. So you stand and wait for a “window” to appear in the stream of cars in order to cross the track and at the same time stay alive. . . ) You will enjoy your stay in this hotel, you will not be disappointed, I am sure. If you do not want to be tied to the All Inclusive system, plan independent excursions and shopping in Antalya - you are here. You can also book a hotel on your own, for example, through Booking. com. com. Or contact Vedat directly. The website of the hotel with all the data is in the internet. Money can be changed at the hotel, but it is more profitable - at Doviz exchange points and even more profitable - at the post office (yellow PTT sign). P. S. I will explain why I put 5- for the placement. Well, how without a fly in the ointment in such a big barrel of honey? I understand that the hotel has nothing to do with it, that the rules are the rules. . . But there are exceptions to every rule.....The fact is that we had a night flight and we were already at the hotel at 5 o'clock in the morning. Two more families came with me and were waiting for the settlement. And I had to wait as much as 6-7 hours! From fatigue, there was only one desire - to stretch your legs. . . I would have humbly stretched them out on the couch in the hall, waiting for the number. . But! At the reception in the cells were 12!! ! keys (it was time to count to twelve), i. e. 12 numbers were free. I, as an experienced tourist, in the hope that they would quickly settle in, gave the administrator a box of good chocolates. Then I realized that I had given, but not to the one who should have been given.... It was Kubo, the hotel worker who was on duty at the hotel at night. He, of course, took the candy and disappeared safely. . . I don’t feel sorry for sweets, eat to your health, Cuba, I feel sorry for myself - tired and dreaming of a soft bed.... At seven in the morning, Vedat appeared (we did not yet know that this was the main person in the hotel), dived into the pool, emerged, stood behind the reception desk. . . Asked: "How are you? " Noah: "Bad.... tired,... I want to go to the rooms... " Answer: "Wait. " . . I'm angry.... Another family offered him money - he did not take it, he did not settle it. . . Explained that the room was not cleaned.... Okay, we're waiting.... The maids come at 8 o'clock in the morning, they could first of all clean the rooms for those who arrived. . But no, they removed it only at 11 o'clock. . . Well, thank you for that. . . It's good that it's not at 14:00. settled, otherwise they would have carried us into the room on their hands. . . me for sure.....But. . . No matter what, I didn't want to leave the hotel. . . See my five videos about the hotel on You Tube. My best wishes to all tourists!
