We are from Latvia, Daugavpils. We spent an unforgettable week on the Mediterranean coast in Antalya in mid-July. Accommodation at the Polen 2 * hotel was part of the pleasant impressions received from the rest in Turkey. According to reviews, this is a small, cozy hotel a three-minute walk from the beach - it perfectly matched our wishes. Going on the road, we did not have any claims to the service of a five-star hotel and were pleasantly surprised by what we saw on the spot. The rooms are really quite small, but equipped with everything you need: shower, balcony, air conditioning, clean bedding and towels. What else does a vacationer need for complete happiness? TV with Russian music channel - as a nice bonus after the abundance of Turkish melodies outside the hotel. There is Wi-Fi, a little slow, but in any case provides free communication with the homeland and the news. It gets dark early in Turkey and a laptop will perfectly brighten up the leisure time of insomniacs. Perhaps for me personally there was not enough tea corner, a cup of coffee in the morning for a full awakening would not hurt. But this problem turned out to be easily solved at the Reception: coffee 2 lira, tea 1 lira. There are also drinks without any extra charges + always chilled. There is no refrigerator in the room, as a matter of fact, and there is no place for it. But, to be honest, during the week of our stay, we never had a need for it. The buffet was very satisfying to our vegetarian food needs, both in quantity and quality. The abundance of vegetable dishes on the menu favorably distinguishes Turkish cuisine from Latvian. You could say it's a vegan paradise. For a fee, you can also order lunch from the manager here. Convenient, very tasty and cheaper than in the city. In general, I would like to write separately about the responsiveness of the staff. Being on the territory of the hotel, you are constantly surrounded by attention. There is always someone at the reception. Unfortunately, you will not be understood verbally, but with the help of gestures you can easily explain your wishes, sometimes it even comes out funny. If not, then they will instantly find the manager Kemal, who understands a little Russian, but speaks good English. He, in my opinion, is able to solve any problem that has arisen, even enjoys helping in some way. . By the way, he can exchange dollars here for lira at the normal rate. What is the impression about the hotel? Of such seemingly self-evident little things as a fresh tablecloth at dinner, clean, sparkling dishes, and just an ashtray without cigarette butts and where it is needed, a kind, friendly look from the porter at the entrance, calm and good-natured neighbors. All this creates a feeling of coziness and comfort. We wish you all a pleasant stay and unforgettable impressions!
