I want to note right away that my review will be really objective, since I am not a person who is meticulously inclined to look for flaws and trying to find positive points in any situation. When choosing exclusively five-star hotels with the "ultra all" system for recreation (you can't do otherwise with a child - this is my subjective opinion), I always try to adequately assess the "price-quality" ratio. We are not talking about transcendental distances like "Mardan Palace", etc. , all the hotels I visit are in the middle price category, but they offer, nevertheless, a decent level of service.
So... We went on vacation (however, as always) with a large women's and children's team representing all age categories: three children 7.7 and 9 years old, their 50-year-old grandmother and we are their mothers. Initially, a trip was planned to one of the nearby hotels: Royal Wings, Limak Lara or Baia Lara (in which, by the way, we rested twice last year and were satisfied with the rest). However, in violation of the tradition of buying a ticket a week before departure, this year the travel agency shrugged their hands and said that all the hotels that interest me are on the foot for the next four weeks.
Since there was not much time for reflection, it was decided to purchase a ticket to Kervansaray Kundu, although initially it was assumed that this hotel would be somewhat worse than the hotels located next to it. Upon arrival, it turned out that "somewhat worse" is a very mild word. . .

Upon arrival, you are immediately struck by the hotel lobby - the so-called reception. All in neon lights, smoothly changing color within the spectrum radiation (see photo))))). In the photo - beauty-ah-ah-ah-ah! But in fact - cheap frosted glass, slapped with dirty hands and illuminated from the inside, which makes dirt and dust even more noticeable, gray walls without any decoration and a dirty white ceiling with conspicuous scars of cracked plaster. The wretchedness of the interior is complemented by dirty leatherette pillows lying on the steps and serving as cozy lounge chairs.
"Okay, " I sobbed sadly, "we can't live here. . . " And we were taken to the room. . . Weaving along the corridor of the 6th floor, I was afraid to look under my feet: from the beige carpet (well, it used to be like that), covered with incomprehensible stains, smelled of dampness. An employee walked past us with a can of paint in his hands. "Well, I think they are painting something, it’s not bad anymore, it means they are watching the hotel after all. " - a spot on the wall and walked on, periodically stopping and painting something there on the grayish walls...
The shock from the situation in the room did not pass immediately: the beds, which are a base of iron corners, upholstered in chipboard, and covered with mattresses on top, which, at any touch, were going to move to the side; dirty with some stains ALMOST WHITE furniture; gray walls, spotty ceiling and the same carpet. . .
After crying, I thought again: "Well, we only spend the night here...."

There was almost no strength left in the restaurant to hold back sobs. As some of our compatriots like to say in their reviews, they didn’t die of hunger... So it is here: the food seems to be there, but there seems to be nothing to eat. There was no mention of children's or diet food (cereal cookies and daily boiled chicken are not considered as such). A separate speech about drinks: an acid-colored powder liquid was positioned as juices (the color of a child's tongue after drinking these drinks for another 2 hours struck with the brightness of colors). I had to buy a juicer and squeeze the juice for the children ourselves. They also diluted the local campari. As for sweets, there were quite a lot of all kinds of pies and cakes, but what I adore Turkey for - their honey sweets like baklava, etc. - never appeared. For some reason, fruits were also strained: apples, oranges, plums and watermelons. Occasionally there was a sweet cherry, 2 times there was a strawberry. We never tried the melon... The breakfast was also disappointing: the choice of scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs)))). There are several so-called BARS on the territory. In one of them during the day from 12-30 to 16-00 you can have a bite to eat with hamburgers, cheeseburgers or sandwiches, while cakes are being prepared near it at the same time (however, you will have to wait for them for quite a long time). Why the rest of the bars exist remains a mystery to me: apart from coffee and water machines, there is nothing there.
Now to alcohol: in this hotel, apart from alcohol poisoning, nothing threatens you. What is poured in local bars is not only impossible to drink, but at times life-threatening. Cocktails diluted with the same acidic "juices" cause terrible heartburn. The only more or less decent drink is local beer (I'm not an expert, I'm talking about this based on my friends' reviews). Everything else is a diluted swill (sorry for being rude, but it’s impossible to call it otherwise). From import - only labels on bottles. And the bars themselves (both beach and near the pool and a piano bar) were not at all conducive to a pleasant pastime. Dirty tiles, squalid furnishings and gnawed plastic glasses... In general, an eatery somewhere on the outskirts of a small Black Sea settlement.
Piano bar. . . The place, originally intended for evening conversations with friends and acquaintances, sipping light drinks to the sounds of a digital piano, in fact turned out to be an uncomfortable narrow corridor with gray sofas lined up against the wall, located directly opposite the bar counter. In the evenings, this place became like a waiting room: everyone sits in even rows, just as noisy, dark and uncomfortable. In other words, no relaxation. Drinks - almost the same drink as in other bars, but less diluted.
Animation. . . So unobtrusive that sometimes we had to organize it ourselves. There is no music either on the beach or near the pools (I'm lying, one column near the sports pool hummed a little something). The imported shows three times a week were quite interesting, while the animation team's amateur performances looked simply inappropriate. Friday is a day off, there is no daily animation. Disco on the beach, in a beach bar (see photo). If you are traveling in a crowd, then you can go and have fun yourself, otherwise there is nothing to do there.

Beach. There are many places, there was no shortage of sun loungers even at rush hour. On the wooden paths and the pier, splinters were constantly driven into the legs. The mattresses are very old and dirty.
But not everything is so bad! ))))) Not a bad area, quite green and sometimes even well-groomed. Nice playground with slides, swings, outdoor exercise equipment and golf holes. Good water slides (quite high with well-finished joints). There is an artificial wave pool, which is great to lie and sunbathe while the kids are somersaulting nearby. There are two corners with hanging hammocks: if you like to take a nap during the day in silence in the fresh air, then you are here. Large children's pool for kids, next to them a playground with small slides and a house. Twice a day ice cream (well, that's not for everyone).
So, to sum up the above. Who will like:
- for those who came to Turkey for the first time, or people who previously had a rest in three-star hotels
- for those who are deeply behind... (silence is guaranteed for passive pensioners)
- extremely unpretentious tourists
Who won't like:
- to everyone else, especially if there is something to compare with.
But in general: the sea, the sun, a beautiful tan and happy children... The rest was a success! ALMOST))))))))))
P. S. Keep in mind - NOT ALL 5 * that "Ultra All" !!!!!!!! ))))))
