Our family of 3, mom, dad and 5 year old daughter. This year, a relative with a daughter of 6 years old decided to go on vacation with us, guided in the price category by their wallet. We chose the hotel for a long time, read the reviews, liked Topkapi in the pictures, so we decided not to pay attention to the bad reviews. We flew. The transfer took us to the hotel at about 16.00, already from the driveways to the hotel disappointment crept into the soul ... Then more, we paid for standard rooms, since we didn’t really understand the buildings at that time, bellman carried the suitcases and we after him, when they came to the 6th building and went up to the room, there was no limit to the disappointment, there was no balcony, no bath, the shower cabin was terrible! We left our suitcases in the room and went back to the reception desk, persuaded the girls for a long time, and eventually received a promise that tomorrow we would be moved to other rooms. It happened the next day!
- we were accommodated in the fourth building, two rooms next to the view of the Relax pool, we were happy (comparing the rooms in the 6th and 4th buildings you just get a huge difference) gave the girls at the reception 40 dollars! Of course, there are many pluses in the hotel, they are all listed on the hotel website, so I will not describe them, and the main disadvantage that the site is silent about is that the hotel is old and poorly looked after. The lobby bar has well-worn paths and armchairs with sofas, shabby walls. But in any case, even an old hotel can and should be kept in order and clean. It was unpleasant for me to walk on the tiles around the pools, something constantly stuck to my feet (the Germans swam and walked in socks !! ! ) all the paths were covered with fallen leaves and flowers, the lawns were the same. I love cleanliness and comfort. The sand on the beach was not sifted, but simply leveled with a machine.
Glasses from drinks are lying around everywhere, and in the sand on the beach and near the pool and in urns, they go to collect them, but it’s better not to know how they are washed ... I myself saw how dirty glasses were brought to the bar, the bartender immediately simply rinse with tap water and pour a portion of the drink! And around the Relax pool it is always quiet and comfortable, only because everything is littered with birds, and therefore there are not enough people who want to lie there! you lie sunbathing, and bam from the sky a turd fell on your forehead, they also swim in the pool, stick to your legs when you go for a swim and, in short, there are turds everywhere! But in the morning you sit on the balcony, and these birds sing to you, beauty. I saw from the balcony how they cleaned the area around the Relax pool, soaked the mop in the pool and went to wipe it. Good thing the pools were cleaned regularly! I liked the cleaning in the rooms, we got such a cool maid! Leave her 2 bucks, she will give you bottles together - 3 beers!

The husband could not get enough of it, since bottled beer cannot be compared with that draft swill! And I cleaned my conscience - but we ourselves are not assholes! Ice cream and cake are served there in any quantity, you can’t eat much of it, because you are tormented to stand in line, I timed it, at least 40 minutes each time. Therefore, we often bought ice cream for the children ourselves for a dollar, rather than spending our holidays on the queue for free ice cream. Diluted beer, powdered juices ("yupi" some of our 90s), I did not allow my child to drink it, water is better. In the main bar, we were also unlucky, how many times the queue came all the time, while you were already standing and you got sick of drinking. On the slides there is the same song - a queue, for a watermelon, a melon - a queue, if you want something tasty for dinner, a fish for example grilled salmon - a queue, in general, this hotel in terms of queues very much reminded me of our distant Brezhnev times! Line up you sons of bitches, line up!
There were a lot of fruits in the restaurants, but there was nothing to eat, since they are not ripe! Never had cherries, that surprised me! Last year, at the same time, we were resting in Turkey, we ate too many cherries!
Remember, the boy Kirill Gudkov, who was transported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations from Turkey to Russia in July, and so he got injured in this Topkapi hotel, because the hotel staff does not care that the children may be injured. There is a lookout at the very top, but he can only look after one downhill, sends, follows the order, blows a whistle, but a meter away from him there is another downhill, where the kids do what they want! They literally jump on each other's necks, and the parents see a hotel worker in a yellow T-shirt and calm down, they think that the children are under supervision, yeah, it wasn't there!
Another separate issue is the game room, the prices are wild! Bowling - one game per person costs 10 bucks!
In "ala carte" restaurants, the same sausage from the restaurant, only diluted with other spices, the same "Yupi" and not juice! In short, we went to an Italian restaurant once (at that, for 5 euros per person) and didn’t go again, I think if we fed like that for 5 bucks, then for free in a Turkish restaurant it will be even worse. In the main restaurant you can eat tastier, the only difference is that you will have to serve yourself.
They still draw tattoos there, they promised that they would last 3 weeks, we painted beauty on the forearms for the children in the evening, they steadfastly endured two hours without touching them with their hands, although they whined that it itches terribly, after a day this tattoo caught a cold, they gave 40 bucks! This draftsman promised to restore, but the children flatly refused, because it itches a lot.
What we didn’t like, I wrote, if our minuses are acceptable for you, then take a break!
