Just returned from vacation.
Reading reviews and choosing hotels I will immediately give advice. Do not pay much attention to the phrases "this is not 5 stars" and so on, as many vacationers do not even remotely know what they write about and what 5 * is.
It should be said right away that hotels can be divided by stars, but 5 *-star hotels are also divided into categories - by price. And in fact, +/- each hotel corresponds to its price. Holidays for 1000 USD, 1500.3000 and 5000 per person are DIFFERENT, even though all these hotels will be 5 *, how much you pay and get, so if someone criticizes and complains that 5 * is a lot, then the person simply wants for $600 for two for 10 days to go to a 5-star hotel and at the same time receive the service of ultra-expensive chain hotels. Just pay attention to what is, what is offered and what conditions for what money.
But in essence:
1. At the reception, I didn’t pay money upon arrival, they fed me, settled me two hours earlier and gave an excellent room with a view of the sea, pool and mountains, I didn’t want anything better (but I thanked him later anyway : ).
2. The room had central air conditioning - I liked it more than individual even, they are located and thought out very competently.
3. The UAll food system, the wine is original, of course, but of high quality, and this is the most important thing. I liked the food, a la carte restaurants are specific, but I liked the Italian cuisine, nothing special, but at a good decent level. The main restaurant is good - everything is clean and very tasty, many dishes are better than in our restaurants, and there is a variety, and Turkish cuisine, in general, five points.
4. Beach - the sunbeds were always free, so there was a wide choice - of course, this was not the case, but it was always possible to take it both in the shade and in the sun, no getting up in the morning to take the sunbeds. A beach with a blue flag, that is, clean, with security, lifeguards and good infrastructure.
5. Animation. I can’t say that it’s super, but the fact that well done is a fact. A wide variety of shows, funny hosts (especially the one who held various competitions - just a waste), and all the guys are very cool, a fun atmosphere, and a good level of staging evening shows. Lots of positive vibes : )
6. The service at the hotel is good, everyone is friendly, there is no difference between you being German, Russian or Moldovan, the hotel is clean and well maintained, the territory is compact but very beautiful - there are dozens of species of flowers, bushes and trees. The fact that there are wastelands and the private sector nearby - yes, there is such a thing, but in order to constantly notice this, you need to try very hard and specifically look for it.
My conclusion: the hotel is worth the money paid for it, it is a good 5-star hotel with good service, everything is balanced, in its price category - you should look better, but I think you will not find it.
Personally, I went for 10 days and was very pleased, those who like to find fault with something can find some disadvantages, but again, you need to understand what we pay and what we want to get for it, a much better vacation than in Riva Donna, it costs at least twice as much, so I think those who choose this hotel will definitely not regret it.
