Gentlemen, I will be objective and try to state everything "as is". Who is going to go to this hotel - do not be lazy, read the review to the end and draw your own conclusions. I must say right away that when choosing a hotel, they did not particularly rely on reviews on the Internet - how many people, so many opinions (which, in fact, I was convinced again after the trip). After all, there is always, even in the most luxurious hotel, a vacationer who doesn’t like something, for whom something doesn’t work out - and he, putting a deuce, will write, without going into details, that “the hotel sucks” ...And, as practice shows, most often people on the forums write about an unsuccessful vacation, they want to speak out "about sore", but if everything went "well and smoothly" - then it should be so, and why write about it. . Usually there are more "negatives" in such sections than rave reviews...
We gathered to rest with a large family company - me, my wife, our one-year-old daughter, my wife's parents - only 5 people.
Although there was still "early booking" (ordered, in my opinion, a tour in April 2011), the choice of good fives was extremely poor (in the price range within 8.000-8.000 rubles for two weeks), and they were in the regions of Turkey, where it took a long time to travel by bus, but with a child it is problematic ...The agency recommended this hotel to us - after studying the photo, information about the vast territory (which was a decisive factor for walking with a child), we chose Attalia. Previously, we rested around the world in many places, my wife and her parents were several times in different hotels in Turkey (I was in Turkey for the first time, but I "heard" about the high level of service and other delights of the local holiday). We know firsthand what 3.4 and 5 star hotels are. I can say that we are unpretentious and did not expect "splendid conditions" for such money, but at least we counted on accommodation conditions that were adequate for the price and star rating of the hotel.

Upon arrival, we were met as usual, put on buses and brought to the hotel. As it turned out, 90% of those who arrived were also sent to Attalia with us, so we got there pretty quickly. At the reception, we “thanked” the hotel employee in advance for providing us with 2 rooms for the whole company in one of the conveniently located and comfortable bungalow houses, and after 20 minutes we were in the rooms.
Once in the room, they discovered that the floors had not been washed there, well, for several months, for sure - there was a too thick layer of dirt and dust. Since it was the end of May 2011, the beginning of the season, it was assumed that after the opening of the hotel they had not yet had time to clean everything. . Having called the reception with a request to send someone with a mop, and without waiting for anyone for half an hour (it was a day), they washed the floor themselves with improvised means, because the child was small, still crawling, and it was simply impossible to let her on such a floor. ..
The second surprise was that we didn't have a TV. And the wires and sockets from it were uprooted and bare sticking out of the wall. Again, without waiting for anyone (thinking about the child), in the hope of solving the problem later, they pushed them to the nearest pedestal. The refrigerator in the cupboard also turned out to be non-working, and, accordingly, without any drinking water. The furniture in the rooms was quite old, already repeatedly painted and repaired, plumbing and mirrors were covered with a thick layer of white plaque. However, there was a recent presence in the room of the cleaning service, as the bed was still freshly made. The wife's parents in the room had a very similar picture.
We were very tired from the road, and it began to pour rain, so we put the solution of problems on the trail. day, we didn't even go to dinner.
Second day. At breakfast were very surprised by the queues for food.

For me, this was the first such experience - in no hotel in the world I had to stand for more than 15 minutes for scrambled eggs. After observing, we realized that 99.9% of the guests in the hotel are Russians. The range of food was, to put it mildly, meager. There were several plates with some kind of cereal, a couple of types of cheese, butter, traditional sausages, herbs, cooked eggs, fried something like unleavened donuts in oil, baked a couple of types + delicious bread (by the way, I note, always fresh), porridge , tea-coffee, well, and something else. It’s good that, prudently, we brought the child a suitcase of cans of baby food from Moscow, and the local yogurt turned out to be quite edible, so there was something to feed the baby. We, having stood in several queues, took ourselves scrambled eggs, a couple of donuts and turned out to be full.
There was an unpleasant incident in the restaurant - the breakfast restaurant is under a transparent roof, which has already leaked and after yesterday's rain there was a puddle in the middle of the restaurant with dirt that was not wiped off. An elderly Russian woman slipped on a puddle and hit her head hard. She was immediately escorted somewhere, and the employees only put a sign in a puddle "carefully, slippery", continued to go about their business. On this puddle, even for breakfast, 2 people slipped, thank God without consequences. And the staff at the same time turned his back, pretending not to notice anything.
We went to the sea. After waiting 20 minutes for the employee who gave out the towels and having received them, we went to the beach, where we found that all the places under the umbrellas were occupied: after breakfast".
Moreover, in addition to those that were occupied, there were still about 15 umbrellas (they are stationary), but they were not covered. Near the sea there is no bar as such. On the third day, after numerous complaints, they put a machine with drinking water there ...
I had to return to the pool, where there were still places. The pool is big and there is room for swimming. Having taken a beer, my father-in-law and I even for a while forgot about all those unpleasant moments that we had already encountered. Somewhere around 12 o'clock they begin to prepare national Turkish cakes by the pool - very tasty, with different fillings. So they are deftly baked there by a local woman! Only now we managed to try them during the time that we were at the hotel, only a couple of times - the queue here is longer than for breakfast, the kids all want local delicacies and it takes 15-20 minutes to wait for the cakes ...Also, meat is prepared by the pool, as for shawarmas, bake cheese bread in the oven, put plates with chopped salad.

Here the queues are not so long, so if you are especially hungry, you can stand. Unfortunately, beer and other alcoholic drinks regularly run out indefinitely. Bartenders only give out "finish" and shrug, not knowing when the desired drink will appear. We saw a couple of times how bartenders poured water into coffee machines, into water coolers! ! ! Moreover, they pour it from the tap in a cunning way, first into the bottles for the cooler - it seems like drinking water ...Once the bartender noticed that we saw him drawing water from the tap, and immediately embarrassedly hurried to close the door so as not to peep...

Lunch takes place in a restaurant close to the sea. There are a few tables outside, others indoors. Meals, unlike breakfast, are quite varied, they cook fish, grill chicken, eat fried potatoes, spaghetti, and vegetables. Of the fruits there was once strawberries, watermelons were given.
From sweets - only a few types of semolina cakes and some kind of biscuit (the same at dinner). There is no children's table as such (in the sense of nutrition). There is a table in the corner for children for 4 kids. Parents fed the children with french fries and fruit, but those who were braver gave everything else. For the little ones, there are a couple of tables for feeding.
Our tourists, as always, excelled here - the queue for the restaurant lined up 15 minutes before the opening. People ran around, trying to snatch all the most delicious. Apparently, there is no other way. Since all the most delicious got only the very first comers. If the strawberries are over - they are over and they will not bring them anymore - and everyone knows this.
A separate issue is the toilet near the restaurant (aka the toilet near the pool and the beach). Leaves an indelible impression : -) No one ever apparently cleans it up, the stench is terrible. After the rain, it also floods, and the water stands on the floor ...Better not go.
Stations are much cleaner!
After lunch, I nevertheless went to the reception to solve the problems with the room, so that they at least washed the floors, repaired the socket, refrigerator, brought water and, ideally, the missing TV. There, the employee smiled, listened to me, nodding his head, and sort of promised to solve everything.

I will say that I speak English quite well, so it was not difficult to communicate with the managers. Although the hotel has a separate guest service service, in which Russian-speaking girls sit, I prefer to solve everything directly, because the same Russian-speaking girls from the service service translate all our requests to the same managers. In short, an additional link. But (prudently) he stated his problems to the girls - for reliability : -)
In the afternoon, we wanted to sunbathe and swim in one of the children's pools with the child, but it did not work out - all the awnings near the small pools, as well as on the beach, were not stretched. And with a small child, sitting under the scorching sun is not an option at all. So I had to go back to the big pool.
Returning from the pool in the evening, everything in the rooms was untouched. The same dirt, no cleaning, repair and TV, and the only roll of toilet paper ended in the afternoon, I had to rewind it from my parents : -) Calling the reception and asking to bring it, they didn’t wait (by the way, hygiene items such as shower gel and soap We didn't have it in our room. ) From parents, without cleaning, someone took the bedspreads from the bed, which was extremely convenient to hide. Anyway, we thought, and in the hope that a miracle would happen tomorrow, we went to dinner. Dinner is served in the same restaurant as breakfast.
There were no special findings. Assortment as at dinner, in one evening they cooked grilled chicken.
After dinner, people go to the large pool to drink something, as well as watch the children who arrange some skits with the animators. Since our child was getting ready for bed after dinner, we went for a walk in the stroller around the hotel, since it is quite large and it was possible to find fairly quiet paths where the child fell asleep. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the hotel is quite old, and large pine trees grow on the territory, there is a lot of greenery. A couple of times we met small crawling turtles. That's what leaves a good impression about the hotel - it's its green area. And I won’t say that she was licked and looked after so much (although it is) - garbage often lay in the bushes, irrigation pipes were broken somewhere and water flowed along the paths: rather, it’s just the climate and even old plantings that create all this beauty .

Returning to their bungalow, they found that the lighting was not working, having touched their way into the rooms, they went to bed.
Day three.
Having woken up, and in advance (taking into account yesterday's experience) having gone and taken sunbeds on the beach, we went for breakfast. Guests, as well as queues, have clearly increased, it was felt that the season is open. The assortment of food also decreased : -(. There were plates with the same chopped tomato in one plate, one type of cheese was in three plates, and so on. It seemed that the table was breaking ...Today we watched a fight between two women for the last glass milk. Apparently, without dividing the line, one pushed the other, and that one pushed her in the end: two beaten ladies with broken glasses. Moreover, ladies aged 40 looked pretty decent ...
After breakfast, I, already in the usual mode, went to the reception once again to try to beg first of all for toilet paper and bedspreads for my parents, and everything else, if I was lucky (there were already more than 20 items on my list of problems). Hehe, today there was a rush at the reception - queues of dissatisfied guests like for breakfast : -) Russian-speaking girls from the service department listened to everyone attentively, nodded their heads in understanding and wrote down everything in detail in their big notebook, promising to solve problems. As I understand it, everyone had the same problems - lack of cleaning, clean towels, complained about the meager assortment of food ...For my part, I also wrote them my list of complaints, duplicating it to the hotel managers. At the same time, I turned to our guide from the Odeon company, which (the company), as I understand it, is the representative of Coral Travel there.

The girl reacted to the problem with sympathy, saying that I was far from the only one with such difficulties. She said that the company has had such serious problems with this hotel for more than a year, and that the guides working here have repeatedly offered Coral Travel to terminate the contract with Attalia, due to a very low level of service. But, apparently, the conditions and prices for which Coral buys hotel rooms are very favorable, so no one is going to refuse a hotel in Coral.
Behind the fence next to our hotel is the new Attaleia Shine Tennis Spa Luxury 5 *, a luxury hotel with luxurious rooms according to the description and photos. The owner of our hotel and Attaleia Shine Tennis Spa Luxury is one. All major financial investments go there. Since the hotel is new, and the cost of rooms there is apparently considerable, there are very few guests there. And you need to unwind the point somehow.
So, apparently, the policy of the management is this - guests come to the Attaleia Holliday Village hotel, find themselves in terrible conditions and want to urgently move somewhere. And the hotel managers offer them for a small surcharge (something around $ 500 per room per week) to move to the chic Attaleia Shine Tennis Spa Luxury. And moreover, very many agree, not trying to find another solution to the problem! The Shine Hotel is being "swept" here at every turn - it is worth hinting at the problems in Attaleia - and you are already offered to go on an excursion to a nearby hotel! Moreover, guests of Attaleia Shine Tennis Spa Luxury have the opportunity to use all the services of the Attaleia hotel, walk on its territory, but not vice versa. It somehow reminded me of a picture from the Titanic, where there were first-class decks where ordinary mortals were not allowed ...
After talking with the guide, I realized that it would not be possible to establish a normal rest here (in fact, I already began to guess about it myself : -). I also realized that it was useless to sue, there were precedents and everything ended in nothing.

Assessing the situation, he said that I want to replace the hotel with another one. Since it was already the season and there were few places in normal hotels (and we were 5 people), we were offered the option of finding a hotel (any), but with an additional charge. I basically said that we would not pay extra to look for a top five with good service. Everything was transferred to the central office of the company, from where they called me two hours later and offered the only option without additional payment - this is the Dyadom Hotels Resort Belek (ex. Club Victoria Resort) 5 * hotel. We agreed that we would go to this hotel, see, and if everything is pleasant, we will move there. The trip was scheduled for the next morning.
As you probably already guessed, nothing has changed in our rooms that day - no repair, cleaning, TV set and a bunch of other things did not appear ...I had to steal toilet paper from the toilet near the reception : -) A neighbor from the nearest bungalow told that today I "bought" clean towels and toilet paper from the cleaners for 10 bucks.
We boasted of an honestly stolen free roll of t / b : -)
Day four. Holiday start : -)
In the morning, the whole family went to the proposed hotel to assess whether it is worth moving. Located 30 minutes drive from Attalia. It is one large, in my opinion, 5-storey building, everything is very compact - the building, access to the large swimming pool, immediately below the children's pool, animation area, and the beach. There is very little space, there is no vegetation (especially in Attalia). However, it's not stressful at all. Immediately struck by the way we were greeted by the hotel staff. Feel like people! The rooms are clean, everything you need is there, with balconies. We stopped by for breakfast, where we noticed the lack of queues and a large selection of food! ! ! There were a lot of foreigners in the hotel and that was a good sign : -) The beach is very clean, big tents, lots of free places. We liked everything and went back to our hotel to collect things.
I will not talk about our further vacation - this is a separate issue, about another hotel. But I will note that it was a real REST and it is even impossible to compare it with our stay in Attaleya Holliday Village. We never regretted our decision to move to another hotel for a second.

Dear tourists! I hope you can draw the right conclusions for yourself about the hotel by reading my review. I would like to warn those who are going to go on vacation there, especially with children. Perhaps, there used to be a really good holiday here (before the appearance of a new luxury hotel by the owner Attaleia), but now everything has changed and it is unlikely to be better in the future.
It is worth saying that, having faced all the problems with the hotel, we communicated with its other guests and tried to understand how they had a vacation. 70% of respondents : -) faced the same difficulties as we did.
