Holidays in Turkey. Gathered with a child (5 years) at sea. There was a choice between Bulgaria, Spain, Turkey.
I rested with my child at the VIVA CLUB HOTEL PARADISO 5 * it's just a nightmare. The hotel stands in a field on one side of the road, along which cars and buses with vacationers drive, and a field with cows, and on the other, a construction site and a swamp with reeds. Other windows overlook the inside of the hotel where music plays at 17:00, and then a disco until 2:00 in the morning and a yard full of vacationers who roar like crows. The buildings are at the bottom, and the reception, the restaurant, the access to the pool on the hill, and now imagine going to a restaurant with a child for lunch under the scorching sun. Just stunned from walking for 2 weeks.
As for nutrition. There is NO meat in this hotel, well, there is none there, as such. They have a sacred animal, they don’t eat pork, lamb is probably expensive for them, so there was nothing besides the chicken for which you will stand in line and the croquettes that we sell for the poor. Well, they also gave pasta (the hotel has 5 stars !!! ) Fish is only mackerel, it is fried and boiled, but it is impossible to eat it in any form. There are fish days, but there are no better. If they take out a tray with something decent, immediately a crowd and after 3 minutes the tray is clean, like a mirror, unless the children lick it like dogs. Fruit only watermelon, melon. Grapes, pears and apples for 2 weeks of my stay were 4-5 times. The sweet table does not cause any complaints, the only thing that left a good impression. Very good pastries, oriental sweets, various mousses and sherbet.
As for the service at the reception, from the Russian speakers, only a girl from Uzbekistan or Tajikistan. She works at such a time that it is very difficult to catch her, everyone else is not boom-boom. Room cleaning is nothing if you leave a tip, and if there are no towels, they may not be changed, etc. and very late. Everyone reminds you of a tip, but the Turks (females) have completely distorted the concept of a tip, they are given if you like the way you are served. There are 5 bars on the territory, if you order the same cocktail in each of the bars on the same day, you will be very surprised by the taste and composition of the cocktails. Pools! The big pool is fine, but in the evening they add so much bleach there that you can suffocate. The children's pool is not cleaned at all and we caught an intestinal infection there 5 days after our arrival. I had to call an insurance doctor and this happened to many children. Just at that time there was a storm at sea. But after the children got sick, the administration quietly, at night they drained the pool, and as if nothing had happened. Bitches.
