We were looking for a place for a week at a budget and adequate price. Got this hotel all ultra on, the first line round trip Turkish air. Price 155 for two for a week. We decided to take it, but before that we read terrible reviews with a low rating, but we took a chance!
I write short and to the point. It takes 40 minutes to drive from the airport. We arrived at the hotel at 9 pm. Settled immediately in a room on the ground floor view of the hotel nearby. In the evenings it is noisy from the neighboring discotheque. And in the mornings, when the staff starts some kind of unloading and there is a roar, I woke up.
I didn’t like the room upon check-in because there was a stale smell in the room, the toilet was leaking, the plumbing was a little tired, the refrigerator was broken, there was no toilet paper, no shampoo, soap and other things, as happens in 5-star hotels. There are flasks with a 3-in-1 product. This is a gel, shampoo and soap all in one.
The impression was not very good, we decided to change our apartments)). At the reception, we were told that there were no rooms available because the occupancy was 100%. We offered to pay extra, but again they say that there are no rooms available. We decided to spend the night, and in the morning go to the reception again. We slept well with the open door to the balcony, fresh air came in and it became more pleasant to breathe. The AC worked great, but we always slept without it. In the morning we slept, went for breakfast, examined the territory, the hotel, our room and decided to leave everything as it is. The room is good overall. This year the hotel was renovated, the carpet was changed everywhere, in the room we have new mattresses, new pillows, white clean linen, bedspreads, plasma, dark curtains, furniture with new upholstery. We went to the reception and they said that the refrigerator was not working. After about 20 minutes the technician came and replaced it. Batteries ran out in the remote control from the air conditioner, they also told us about it at the reception and after 10 minutes they brought us batteries to the room.
A plumber was called and he fixed the toilet. By the way, the pressure of the mountains. water is not very strong, but you can wash your hair normally. After 10 pm it will be more difficult. Cleaning every day, but light. Dust on the paintings and shelves, as it was, and lay. Toilet paper brought as many as 3 rolls))))
We cleaned up the room overnight. The main thing is to immediately go to the reception and say what is wrong in the room, what is broken, what is not, and they will write everything down. There is no safe in the room. Can be rented. WiFi is free - it catches at the reception, pool, on the beach, in the room, if it is near the lobby, but the weak one often crashes and takes a long time to load (there is also a paid one, we took 7 days $ 14)
As for food, I will say that the choice is not chic, but you can eat. Excuse me, the hotel is not for the bourgeois and the food is non-bourgeois))) They don’t pour Hennessy and they don’t give caviar)))
No frills, a good amount of assortment, but quite tasty cooked and fresh!
1 type of soup for breakfast, 2 types of soup for lunch and dinner.
There is always chicken, turkey, beef. Grilled fish every day.
From what I liked - grilled fish, chicken skewers.
Pizza (flat cakes with filling) - top!
Ice cream, fresh seasonal fruits (melon, watermelon, peaches, juicy pears, etc. ).
In the morning pancakes, donuts with Nutella, delicious scrambled eggs, porridge.
Mashed potatoes. Fried eggs, grilled meat, mushrooms with onions, pasta, fries, vegetables, pastries, salads, sweets, toasts, coffee, teas, juices are all there. I didn’t see the hungry and the poisoned too) None of us got poisoned! Everyone is healthy.
In general, there is something to feed yourself and children. For a week there were no problems with the stomach. As one dude here wrote in a review that the food is greasy, but we did not see this. I will say that everyone notices what they want to see! As for cocktails, it all depends on the worker who cooks, someone comes out delicious, someone not so much.
There are many foreigners in the hotel. Germans, Poles and Russians in greater numbers. Everyone lived peacefully, culturally and calmly.
We drank cocktails constantly at the bar on the beach and near the bass.
The hotel area is small and cozy. In Basik, water is taken for testing. The pools themselves are clean. There are 2 on the territory. One is large for adults and the other is for children. Everyone rode down the hills. The staff is friendly. There is a Russian-speaking girl Elena at the reception. Adequate, friendly.
The beach is 50 meters from the hotel. The sand is relatively clean. Cigarette butts, pieces of paper come across but uncritically.
Good entry into the sea on the pebbles. The water is warm and clean. Sunbeds are free. After 9.30 everyone can already be busy. Animation is not much, but enough for such a small area.
In general, the hotel is ok. Suitable for people with no special needs. Rather stardom 4 light but not 5. Would we return a second time?
I think yes. A week is enough.
Summary:
The sea is super, but you need slippers, very hot sand and stones near the shore. Liked the food. They did not suffer from hunger. Rooms after renovation - norms.
Compact area.
Vacation went great. The weather was sunny, the sea was good.
BENEFITS OF THE HOTEL
Close to the sea. Clean pools. Gorki. Spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Clean linen. New carpet. Everywhere balconies. Blackout curtains. In the evening there are competitions for children and guest artists perform for adults. Disco in a bar on the beach. The hotel has shops and a hairdresser.
CONS OF THE HOTEL
Dirty mirrors in rooms and elevator. There are no separate shampoo slippers. Tired bathroom. I would like it to be newer. Dishes in the dining room with stains. Wash badly. The animation is weak in my opinion. We need a stronger team.
Poorly insulated wires are lying around the territory, including in the wet areas of the pool. Dirt throughout the hotel, including the restaurant. Dirty rags, dishes, tables. Dishes are broken. The scene on the animation under the children sagged a lot, the plywood moved away, the children stumbled. There are a lot of broken tiles in the pool around the perimeter, I scratched my foot on the tiles at the bottom, the child's hand on the side of the pool.
The location is bad, the wilderness. While checking out, we saw a cockroach in the closet. Curtain. We could not stand such terrible conditions and moved to another hotel for our own money. Even if you spend all day by the sea, it is still impossible to sleep in mold and rotten stuff with cockroaches and other people's experiments in your toilet bowl. It's not about living up to stars, expectations, or money. We lived in 2 * and in guest houses. This hotel is simply dangerous for the health of both adults and children.
For those who go there.
A divorce was worked out at the reception: first, they settle in the basement or on the 1st floor, where the rooms are in a more disrepair condition (in our case, there was water by 3 centimeters in the bathroom and mold was from floor to ceiling). And then they offer an upgrade from economy to standard upstairs. Some for free, some for money, some for gifts. Naturally, it is completely impossible to be in these rooms, I wrote about the room above the floor above.
We chose this hotel due to its location, 1 line, the sea is right on the territory, the beach is normal, they promised sand, but in fact there are a lot of pebbles. We read reviews, most were normal, the hotel had an average score, but we were not looking for lux directly. We arrived in Antalya at 7 am, arrived at the hotel around 8 am, we were told to wait until 2 pm to be settled. From the very beginning, our tour agent warned that this hotel has economy rooms, which are more modest, and the standard, which are considered good, so we immediately chose the standard.
While we were waiting to check in, we were offered to have breakfast and go pick up towels from the hammam to swim. I did not like the food at all, dry buns, some raw pancakes and incomprehensible scrambled eggs. All drinks are given only in disposable cups that get wet after two minutes.
I asked to make a latte, they made it without milk, and when I asked where the milk was, the bartender simply opened the bottle and poured it in.
Somewhere at 12:30 we went to the reception to ask for a room with a sea view, we were told they would do everything in the best possible way and come back in an hour. For now, we decided to have lunch. People stood in line for half an hour, the air conditioners did not work either in the restaurant or in the hotel itself, many made "fans" from disposable plates. The food is more disgusting than for breakfast - undercooked rice, hard meat, incomprehensible salads with strange tastes and some tasteless cheeses and sausages. On the second day I woke up with a terrible pain in my stomach and nausea.
Regarding the room: at about 13:30 we went back to the reception and they told us that there were two rooms for us, they offered to go look.
The first room was in the basement of the hotel, without windows, terrible heat and dirt, as if they had never been cleaned there (as we understood this is the economy one, we had a standard booked, and they specifically showed this one first in order to choose the second one for sure). The second one was on the top floor, small, dirty, and only the view saved the situation a little. We went down to the reception to be indignant, the photos on the site did not correspond to reality from the word at all !! ! They also told us that if we want a room on the top, we have to pay extra 62 €, and there are no other rooms at all, because the whole hotel is full. We refused on principle and contacted our tour agent in the hope of somehow resolving the situation, we even wanted to change the hotel. A representative of a partner company from Turkey came to us, we explained everything to him, he went to talk with the manager and as a result we were offered another room on the third floor, also killed.
A tantrum began, we didn’t sleep for 30 hours, we decided to call the hotline and DEMAND to change the hotel, since it doesn’t correspond to reality - they described the whole situation in detail, They told us that this was marketing and the hotel probably had such rooms, but for a long time (which I don't think it's an argument at all. They also said that the whole of Turkey is packed and there is not a single free number.
We decided to check in already, as it was evening, and the next day everything was decided. In the morning, our tour agent from Moldova decided everything and found us another hotel, while we had to pay extra for it, pay a fine of 100€ to this hotel and already 35€ for the transfer.
Thank God we decided to move, otherwise I already thought that the whole vacation was down the drain, We arrived at a wonderful hotel, clean and with delicious food.
Regarding the staff: impudent (a guy came up at the bar and said that he had lost his glasses, asked if they weren’t found, the bartender waved his hand and pretended not to hear anything), intrusive (especially the guy from the hamam who called every 5 minutes to the hamam), and do not know two words in English.
In general, I do not recommend anyone to visit this hotel!
Room cleaning is very poor. After they gave a kick, they began to clean up well. There are gels and shampoos. They just need to be demanded, because they are not provided for by them. We were given every day. The food is varied - meat, fish, chicken, vegetables in different types of cooking, fruits, sweets. Everything is there. If, of course, you are used to eating red and black caviar every day, then you are not here. The bartenders are great. They made a variety of cocktails (If you smile at them and ask politely). Guide Shamil is always in the hotel. If you cannot resolve the issue through the reception, you can contact him.
The hotel has a shop with textiles and household chemicals. Thanks to the seller Zarina, a kind and sympathetic woman. It was nice to visit her. The prices are adequate (as in the market, which is located near the hotel, walk to the end of the road and to the right). There is also a spa center and a swimming pool on the 1st floor. And a fitness room.
Beach: gray sand and small pebbles. At the entrance to the sea, the pebbles are large. It is difficult to enter, but not critical.
We took 3 excursions. 2 at the guide (6 pplubny yacht Maldives and green canyon) and 1 on the street (Pamukkale). Prices do not differ. On the street, even more expensive, because. then it turns out you have to pay extra for a lot. The excursions were very enjoyable. In general, we are satisfied with the rest. If you want a good hotel, then it will come out much more expensive. And then there is the value for money. And if you are a boring person in life, then you are not here. Have a good rest!
