We rested at the hotel from 06/04/2009 to 06/17/2009. To be honest, after reading reviews on the Internet (mostly negative - somehow we came across more of them), we were very sorry that we had chosen this hotel and were even afraid to go there. As adults, we don't care. This is not the first time we have traveled - we have been in all sorts of hotels, both in chic and very simple ones (I will just note that we went to Turkey for the first time) - so I will try to be objective in my assessment. But there was one BUT: we were traveling with an 11-month-old baby and therefore it was assumed that we would spend most of the time at the hotel and of course we need good service in relation to the baby (food in the first place)...
Now more to the point... The hotel is good - our fears were not confirmed. We lived in the main building - a room with a sea view. I remind you again (I write in every review!!!! ): find out in advance in which room (where the windows go, in which building, etc. ) you will be accommodated by your tour operator - as a rule, certain rooms are bought from them ! ! ! ! And the price of your tour depends on it. And then we first choose where it is cheaper, and then we complain that the room overlooks the construction site, it takes an hour and a half to walk from the sea, etc. , that we have to pay extra for a good room. We, as always, found out which room was supposed to be - and immediately paid extra here for the one in which we would like to live (the main building overlooking the sea). There were no problems with the settlement - we got what we wanted. There was still one drawback - but it did not depend on our hotel, and it did not bother us much either. Our windows overlooked the side of the Atlantic Hotel (that's what I call it, I can be wrong) - so they always have MEGA parties there. From 10 am to 2 am. Music yells - God forbid! In principle, during the day it doesn’t really bother - because all the same, they came to the room with their daughters only for daytime sleep (and they also have a “siesta” at that time). But in the evening already - audibility is good. You can only sleep with the door to the balcony closed.
The territory is large and green, very well-groomed. 90% of families with children have a rest, so whoever wants peace and solitude - this is definitely not for you! For children - expanse. Some slides are worth something. I talked with some parents - this is the second or third time they go here because of the water park (you don’t need to go separately, waste time and money), but the kids like it. The animation for children is very good - the kids are constantly busy: they are sculpting something, drawing, playing pirates, etc. In the evening there is a mini disco, and then they are taken to the cartoons when the adult animation begins, which is good for parents to relax. In general, the animation in the hotel is strong - my husband and I have not seen this for a long time, although unfortunately we did not fully appreciate it (since the child needs to be constantly engaged), but we watched something all the same in turn.

Service at the hotel is good - everyone is very friendly. The maid cleaned well - I hope I don’t need to remind you about the small “present” in the form of a dollar left on the bed every morning...
In the restaurant, the waiters are friendly - all the time they lisped and played with our daughters. Now let's move on to food. We read reviews that the food here is disgusting and, frankly, it bothered us a lot. Everything turned out to be the opposite - tasty and varied. For the first time in the history of our trips with my husband, we never even got poisoned by anything. The fruits were in season: strawberries, apricots, apples, watermelons, bananas, oranges, nectarines - all ripe, which is amazing. The only thing was an unripe green plum.
There are few pastries for breakfast - for those who are interested in this issue, mostly buns. From puff only croissants and then rarely. There are a lot of cakes for lunch and dinner (as a rule, in all hotels), and all sorts of oriental sweets were very pleasing.
When the hotel is incomplete, there are no queues. But a couple of times there were conferences - it's tough. Then the lines for food are kilometer long. And by the way, then the settlement was large - so there were not enough highchairs for children in the restaurant. I had to go to the very beginning of dinner in order to have time to take a chair (there are few people at breakfast, at lunch - sometimes) - they could have bought more chairs, they know that almost everyone in the hotel is with children.
Juices were very disappointing. My husband and I thought for a long time - what is it. Juice diluted with water or water with juice... On the day of departure, we saw how the machine was filled: just juice concentrate is diluted with water. You can only drink tomato juice - even if it is poured from boxes, it looks like juice.

As for alcohol, it can also be written down as a disadvantage. Bars do not have free cocktail menus. Therefore, in fact, you don’t know what you can ask to do. We asked a couple of times - the cocktails turned out to be terrible, sometimes you don’t feel alcohol, then you don’t feel it at all... In general, then we only drank gin and tonic - gin is gin... Or wine - but this is not for everyone, because I know many people who local wines not much preferred. . .
The biggest downside is the air conditioner. Works only on time. I mean, it works all the time (well, when you turn it on), only cold air “on schedule”, but it just works like a fan drives warm air around the room... This was very annoying, especially at night (at night it just doesn’t fulfill its function ) - you can’t open the balcony, as the disco in the neighborhood will wake up the child. But in the evening it’s still nothing, since it’s still working from 21 to 23, so it’s cool. Here from midnight to 2, while disco is hard. Then you can already open the balcony.
The beach is good, they clean it every evening - the sand is sifted by hand. I would like to ask dear compatriots - do not throw cigarette butts in the sand. We ourselves dirty the beach, and then we swear that it's rubbish. After all, there are urns on the beach! If you smoke - is it really so difficult to move her closer to you if you are too lazy to walk. I didn’t like the entry into the sea - but again, this is an amateur. The whole beach is sandy and the sea too, but when entering the sea, there are 2-3 meters of pebbles and the entry is quite steep - then again it is fine and sand. Getting out of the water turns out to be painful and difficult for the legs.
And in conclusion, I would like to “educate” a little. It's just been sore for years. Dear compatriots, please do not call the elevator if, for example, you are going down and up at the same time. From this, the elevator will not arrive faster, since in this way you delay it even more. This mainly applies to women. Once we made as many as 3 from floor Z (the lowest) to the 4th (where we lived) !!! ! Stops. And each time the question was the same: where are you going up or down? On the 3rd floor, we couldn't resist. . .

Second moment. Do not grab food in a restaurant from shared plates (salads have been repeatedly seen being tried), do not try from handout spoons! You are not at home!!!! ! Teach your children (I mean children already 12-15 years old - I think they should already understand at that age) not to jump in line, this is very impolite. It's one thing when a small child... And then such foreheads climb, and even with the words - let the suckers stand... Honestly, very unpleasant... And again, about children. Explain, dear parents, to your children that it’s ugly if someone washes their feet under a tap after the beach, shove their feet or buckets with scoops on top - you can wait (moreover, parents / grandmothers / nannies stand nearby and calmly watch all this).
And let's be polite. The husband observed such a picture when he was kayaking (by the way, kayaks and catamarans are free): the family is kayaking, they don’t disturb anyone calmly. A freak rides nearby (sorry, I won’t call it another word) on a jet ski. There is plenty of room for everyone. So THIS ONE specially drove near / in front of the catamaran 2 times and turned around so that the wave covered the whole family from head to toe. And this one turned out to be Russian - his husband later saw (heard) at the "boat station" when he handed over the kayak.
Sorry if I offended anyone.
If anyone is interested (who may also go with the kids) such information about food. For breakfast, I gave my daughter an omelette and there were muesli (hot - like our oatmeal), cheese. For lunch and dinner there is a diet table. It does not differ in particular variety, but you can feed a child: boiled vegetables (not salted, not peppered), fish, rice. She also gave mashed potatoes (by the way, it’s not adjustable - but from real potatoes! ), Pasta, soup (well, like mashed broth): vegetable, broccoli, chicken, mushroom - very tasty and decent. In general, the child can be fed. I only took canned meat, yogurts, juices with me. Juices by the way (Hipp, Milupa), as well as diapers (Huggies, diapers), napkins, fruit jars, children's Hipp tea can be bought in Belek at a pharmacy - so don't drag a whole suitcase.
