This is the second time we have been to this hotel. . .
Rested from 05/27/10 to 06/10/10. We went with friends (they were also with their daughter - 3 years old), well, we have a daughter - 2 years old. Therefore, my report will probably be interesting to read for those who are also traveling with such small children. By the way, I will say that the first time we were in this hotel when our daughter was a year old
Again, I will divide the report into 2 parts: the first for the hotel, and the second (for those who are interested) for parents
We lived in Maritim Pine Beach, and friends in Pine Beach Club. There is absolutely no difference (I mean, I read somewhere in the reviews that the food in Pine Beach is worse than in Maritime). ANYONE can use the restaurant. Friends ate at our place in Maritim. I will say that in Maritime, in Pine Beach - the menu is always the same !!!!!!! ! It's just that there is a bigger restaurant in Pine Beach, otherwise everything is the same.

The only difference we had in Maritim was bathrobes and slippers (which surprised us very much! Since there was no such “service” last year) and everyone who stopped by was given a plate of fruit in the room (there was no such thing in Pine Beach).
I once again established my opinion that all reviews should only be read fresh (well, at least for the season when you are traveling) - since everything becomes outdated and changes very quickly. Much has changed in the hotel since last year - for example, now there are fungi on the beach... Here is my personal opinion (since I look only from the position of “better for the child”) - the awning was better - more shade for the children... I was glad that at least the fungi were not small. . .
Right in front of us, a big reorganization began in the hotel. Now the children's table is not in the Santa Maritim restaurant, but in Pine Beach. I remember on the first day it confused everyone so much - everyone comes, they look - but there is no children's buffet... But perhaps most of all we were struck by the fact that now the system for "VIP clients" has begun to work in the hotel. What does this mean: if you want to relax without crowding on the distribution of food, without occupying sunbeds in the morning - you can order the “VIP for one day” service the day before (I assume that this is not free !!! ! We just didn’t know for sure , since this system started working 2 days before our departure) and you will have free sunbeds, food, etc.
Now about the pros and cons compared to last year. In the hotel this time probably 90% were Russians (I mean all citizens of the USSR!!!!! ). The remaining 10% - all the other nations... And of course, unfortunately, the Russians can ruin everything (by the way, I'm also Russian and I'm ashamed of my compatriots) - well, more on that later... We were again settled in a room on the side of the Atlantic Hotel. That last time we could not sleep, that this time there are very loud evening animations and discos. Even if the window to the balcony is closed, it’s still very audible, especially when they have a party by the pool... We first wanted to change the room (there were no free rooms on the other side - well, we have to think), and then we forgot - our daughter fell asleep and she didn’t care at least they fell from a cannon, but my husband and I don’t go to bed early, so we could watch TV until half past midnight (they have a party somewhere until half past midnight - one hour). But when we had to go to bed very early (we had to get up early), we simply could not fall asleep, it felt like the drums were being beaten right on our balcony.

The hotel was full. The queues for food were just crazy - last year there was practically no such thing (there were only a couple of days while there was a conference), although we were on the same dates as now (that is, it was already in season). In the end, these queues began to strain a lot... I had to go to borrow sun loungers for the second week of my vacation - I am always against this !!! ! But after 2 days we were "without the sea" - we sent our husbands to take sun loungers (fortunately it was the last day before departure). And I must say for a long time we do not sleep at half 9 - at 9-00 we are always on the beach. But everything was busy! And even by the pools on the lawns... And in the first week of our vacation, this was not observed - they calmly came, there were still sunbeds (and last year too). We had one of the factors for choosing this hotel for the second time was precisely that you don’t need to take sun loungers (this word of honor infuriates me) - and here you have it again...
There were several interruptions with beach towels - and it also began to strain at the end. You come to the beach and wait for towels for another 2 hours. But judging by the fact that on the penultimate day of departure we were given completely new towels, the towels were delivered and there will be no more “crisis”...
Plus - opened the second distribution of beach towels - at the water park. And the distribution was extended until 18.30 (last year it was until 17.00 and there was one distribution point - then there were a lot of indignations about this).
A tractor was bought this year to clean the beach - it cleans it in the evening (last year the workers manually sifted the sand), even when a lot of pebbles were brought by a storm - they also removed it
The food is the same - no complaints. Everything is there, everything is delicious. Children 2-3 years old (and even a year) can be fed without problems: pasta, rice, stewed vegetables, potato casserole, stewed meat, fish, mashed potatoes, cucumber tomatoes - everything is there, everything is generally not peppered (but sometimes some dishes are islandy - so mothers try first... ).

We went with children to an Italian restaurant a la carte. Well, I’ll say that this is still not for hiking with children (small ones) - right there in the restaurant they bring food slowly so that you can sit, talk, digest... In general, for a long time. And with the kids, you have to eat quickly and run... Smart parents took a laptop with them and the kids sat down to watch cartoons... Everything was delicious. BUT! We really did not like their system: you can choose not from the proposed dishes, but from the MENU as a whole. That is, they have 3 options for free menus (that is, the set of incoming dishes offered cannot be changed) - and you choose only from them... The first time we encountered such a system - always in all hotels it was possible to choose dishes in a la carte restaurants in your own way discretion (as in regular restaurants). By the way, visiting a restaurant with children (I'm talking about Italian) only on Mondays and Tuesdays... They offer a children's menu - it costs 1 euro per child. We didn’t go to Turkish after getting acquainted with the “menu options” - everything is the same in an ordinary restaurant.
Again strained air conditioning, working on time (pay attention to the hotel CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING!!!! ). Moreover, in Pine Beach, at first, they didn’t save on air conditioning - friends (like others living in Pine Beach) did not complain: it froze constantly (well, if you turn it on), and when a mass arrival of people began, they also began to turn on “cold” air strictly on time (To the chagrin of everyone living in Pine Beach). In Maritim (that is, with us), the condo drove cold air only in the period from about 13-00 to 17-00 and from 20-00 to 24-00 - they saved money (as well as last year). But so that they don’t run into me, that they say the air conditioner has always worked for us - it still depends on the season when you were at the hotel (since I know people who said that they always worked on the day !!!! , but they were in another time - either in general when there was a terrible heat, or already at the end / beginning of the season, when there were very few people in the hotel)... Yes, and here, on the example of our friends, all this can be seen...
Animation is weaker than last year... There is no former activity (in the afternoon), but we saw that they were playing bocha, volleyball....Although also good performances in the evenings. But there was no Katai circus this year... Many parents complained that children's animation had become worse (by the way, 30% were those who had already gone to the hotel for the 2nd or 3rd time - so they knew what they were saying, there is something to compare with). I can’t say about the nursery myself - we haven’t grown up to the mini club yet. Well, if only to play and draw on the site...
All in all, the hotel is still GOOD. There are minor flaws, but these are not critical "minuses".

And I will return to the issue of compatriots... I will immediately forgive your forgiveness if I offend someone, but unfortunately I just what is called "I cannot be silent. " I emphasize that everything I write below does not apply to a specific hotel! And it refers to the people living in it.
So, dear Russians. Let's finally start respecting other hotel guests and stop taking our trash out into the public corridor! Already tired of plates with leftovers, dirty glasses and bottles under the doors (including the elevator !!!!! ). For those who do not know - the maids take out the garbage from the ROOM! Okay, bottles of glasses... Our "neighbors" put a bag with baby diapers in the corridor (we must think not new ones! ) - what a kapets!
Farther. Changing cabins are not a toilet where you can go with the kids to pee (or by yourself - as judging by the women's pads used there, they not only changed clothes). The toilet is nearby - walk 20 meters! Is it really that hard!!!!
By the way, to the question of children and the toilet - I personally saw how some people put children right on the sand in a big way! I also have a small child and I put a diaper on him (knowing that my daughter will not endure if she is impatient) - which I advise you to do or run to the toilet. Or carry a pot to the beach, anything is better than straight to the sand... And then, after all, all the "excrements" the parents did not even think to remove - but they remained on the beach, despite the fact that other people's small children were running around - that would come... And this Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident. . .
I’m already silent about the behavior of some in a restaurant: when you can take french fries with your hands and immediately dip them into “public” ketchup and eat... Try from handout spoons, climb out of line...
In general, the hotel is good, the service is good, but the people themselves spoil everything
The second part is for parents.
Already in the first one I wrote that the food is good, there are no problems with food for children, there is always a choice. It’s bad that there are few highchairs in the restaurant, breakfast is still normal, but you should try to find lunch and dinner or you should come to the very beginning.

In the mini-club, children are taken on some days to a mini-zoo to a hotel nearby. We didn’t go, because the departure is at 11.30 and we are usually already asleep by one, although we originally wanted to.
With the children, we ourselves went to Side for a walk - 40 minutes by taxi. Since we traveled with 2 families, we always divided the taxi into 2. It turned out very profitable. To Side (there and back - we agreed with the taxi driver to pick us up) - 100 dollars. We had a good walk, admired the local beauties and ruins. The most important thing is that the children are not tense, and by the daytime sleep we returned home (we left early, while it was not hot).
A taxi to Belek costs $8 (one way). Sometimes when you go back (well, with the same taxi driver) - 7 dollars. By the way, sometimes people stand at a taxi stop looking for a “company” so that it would be cheaper to take a taxi...
Pampers-juices-napkins were all bought at a pharmacy in Belek. They took with them for the first 3 days. The pharmacy even has baby cereals, a mixture. So there is absolutely no need to drag a suitcase of food...
My daughter was sick for 1 day - apparently they grabbed a virus in the mini-club (only the day before they discussed that there were a lot of coughing-snotty children in the mini-club) - the temperature was under 40. They called a doctor for insurance - prescribed antibiotics and medicines. A couple of days later, they swam again, though in the pool - the daughter, unfortunately, couldn’t be helped to the sea... Moreover, we noticed that the children, just within 2 years, dug on the shore and entered the water screaming (often heard from others that a child of this age doesn’t want to go to the sea at all), but the kids (1 year old) and older (3 years old) were already splashing around in the sea with pleasure. By the way, we also swam in the sea beautifully in a year... Well, okay, next year we will try again!
So dear parents - this hotel is very suitable for families with children, the main thing is a good mood, good insurance for the child (just in case) - and your vacation will be wonderful!
