I endlessly love holidays in Turkey, since 1998, several times a year, I tried to spend holidays with the whole family there. And every time I wanted to come back again, take a break from the bustle of Moscow. We always rested in different hotels, when choosing a hotel we were guided by the recommendations of friends and the information of the tour operator, usually these were 5 * hotels with improved food, a children's table, a gym and a good playroom for children. So this time we gathered in Turkey at the “wonderful” hotel Otium Zeynep in Belek for 10 days for 4200 USD. e. with discount . (dissuaded her husband from resting in Finland - persuaded. )
For the first time, we were all deeply disappointed.
The food is mediocre. French fries, rice, dry chicken, nasty fish, insane salads, two types of cheese that take up more table space.
At the beginning of the season, only oranges and grapefruits are for breakfast. Watermelon, melon, strawberries and apples - a pipe dream. Juices and wine are disgusting. Every day, the hope that this poorly composed menu was fading away. Either the cook is bad, or UAll food has changed in principle in its content.
Unusually polite hotel staff, smile, agree with everything, but do nothing. If you understand English, you can hear very “pleasant” things in a conversation about yourself, but with a smile on your face.
If you have any problems, you will always be listened to by grateful listeners - representatives of the meeting company.
The gym is a complete comedy. A stuffy room of 30-40 square meters filled with exercise machines - only two of them worked. You can become happy owners of sun loungers on the beach or by the pool at 7 am.
The whole rest I convinced myself that everything would be fine - the weather was good, well, we ate a tomato and potatoes, went for wine ourselves (the waiters were trained only to clear the table), forgot the taste of meat, bought fruit in Belek at Moscow prices......... etc. d.
Dear compatriots, I will not convince anyone, persuade - Russians are used to learning from their mistakes, but I didn’t like it. On the beach, I conducted a survey of Russian vacationers - a lot of dissatisfied. Gathered contact numbers and room numbers from everyone. I will never want to return to this hotel.
On the third day of rest, I sent a fax with a list of complaints about the rest to the office of the meeting party. According to the negotiations, they promised to send this claim to Moscow and take measures – they smiled…….
Upon returning to Moscow, I called the company where I bought the ticket, filed a claim - they heard about it for the first time...
It is very interesting what the official answer will come and whether it will come at all.
