In Oludeniz Resort, from September 29 to October 6.2013, the first half of our holiday was held. When choosing a hotel, all its pros and cons were taken into account, so we knew exactly where we were going and what we expected from the rest.
We arrived at the hotel in the morning, waited two hours for check-in, managed to have breakfast during this time and get acquainted with the territory a little.
The hotel has old and new buildings. Many of the old two-story buildings, and most of them, stand in pairs, forming, as it were, separate courtyards surrounded by greenery. Fruit trees predominate (bananas, persimmons, pomegranates, olives, lemons…) Each courtyard is decorated in its own way. Somewhere a swing is installed, somewhere the exterior is decorated with a large clay amphora. Some buildings are densely woven with wild grapes and bougainvillea.

There are rooms on the minus ground floor, ie. to get into them you need to go down the thresholds. Somewhere just a few steps, somewhere a whole flight of stairs. The windows in these rooms have a view of the wall.
Three-story new buildings are located around the activity pool with a slide. There are only six of them. They are lighter and more spacious and the design in them is of course more modern. However, music plays by the pool during the daytime, so no one guarantees silence. There are also houses on the mountain, but we were not there, so I can’t say anything specific.
There are three outdoor swimming pools and one for children. In the corner there is a relaxation pool. This is the childfree zone. And since children are not allowed into it, it is always quiet here, calm music plays. Has its own bar.
There is a playground and a mini club. In the evenings, they sing and dance to the "hits" of different countries at the mini-disco. In Russian, the little ones lit up under "Kalinka-Malinka". But mostly animation takes place in English.
The hotel complex is somewhat reminiscent of a pioneer camp.
The rooms are old, the hotel is almost 30 years old. Standard rooms are quite small, quite ascetic. The bathroom is tiny and darkened from time to time. I was pleased that in the room on the ground floor there was no smell of dampness, which I was most afraid of. Everything worked: the air conditioner quickly set the desired temperature, the hair dryer regularly dried the hair; hot and cold water without interruption.
The rooms are equipped with an electric kettle and cups. Tea bags in a small vase. As it gets empty, you can get it in the lobby near the main restaurant. There is also a water cooler. The LCD TV showed the 1st Russian channel. Energy-saving light bulbs illuminated the room beautifully. There is a mini-bar. Water is available on site. Safe is paid. For 8 days we paid 30 S. There are mosquito nets on the windows, but Turkish mosquitoes sometimes leaked out of the bathroom, ignoring the Russian fumigator. Blankets and extra (decorative) pillows are provided.

The total area of the hotel is small - 16000 sq. m, (but for Oludeniz this area is quite impressive, because many hotels in this village are even smaller). The staff is very polite, helpful. In the restaurant, the waiters quickly remember you, and for the third time they can serve exactly the wine that you ordered the previous two times. Out of courtesy, we always left a tip. At peak times, the waiters did not always have time to serve quickly, so we ourselves went to the bar for wine.
Nutrition. It cannot be said that there was an abundance of everything as in an ultra-all, but for a four it was very good, (it can be worse in other economy fives). Everything is fresh and tasty. You can always choose something for yourself. For breakfast, in addition to vegetables, cereals, sausages and eggs (in various forms), you can make toast yourself. They bake delicious pancakes. For lunch and dinner, two types of traditional Turkish puree soups are served daily; ready-made salads and sliced vegetables, various sauces, several types of side dishes, fish, meat. Naturally, chicken and turkey of various cooking methods predominate, but there was also beef, as well as kebabs, dishes with liver, you can’t list everything. There were themed dinners. Tablecloths on the tables were selected according to the "color of the day". On "fish day" they were turquoise. Big tuna was cooked on the grill, oysters with lemon, king prawns, sea cocktail, salads with seafood pleased. On another day, the decoration of dinner was a huge turkey. In general, the hotel staff tried to bring a certain zest to the evening meal, which is nice.
Delicious and varied pastries (soufflé , biscuits, baklava, jelly, some mannas, lokma). All in different variations (in the form of pastries, cakes, rolls). Many sweets are soaked in sugary syrup. But with unsweetened tea they go with a bang. Of the fruits were pears, melons, oranges, grapefruits, green and black grapes, plums. There were practically no watermelons, and not only in this hotel.
Alcohol is quite tolerable, cocktails with a noticeable dose of alcohol; exquisite - for an additional fee.

The hotel is located on the first line, facing the city beach. To the sea (more precisely Belzzhekiz beach) go 3-4 minutes through the promenade. Take the sun loungers, open the umbrella. Beachboy for payment will come to you himself. Cost of the service: all for 6 in local currency. You can sit on your own towel and with your own umbrella. Then save 18 TRY. The beach is sand and pebble. The pebbles are large, without coral, the legs are not comfortable. The sea is transparent, often waves, sometimes a small white foam could be seen on the surface. The water temperature is 26 degrees in early October.
The hotel has its own beach (shared with the Sun City hotel). Located in the famous Blue Lagoon. Walk about 2.5 km. There is a hotel shuttle. Schedule is inconvenient. Several flights in the morning. Further calm until the evening. Around 17:00 there are several flights back. Umbrellas, sun loungers there are free, but the bar is paid. A dilemma arises: either pay for a snack and drinks at the beach bar and stay until the evening in the Blue Lagoon, or walk to the hotel for lunch. You are not with children, vacationers usually took a taxi in a clubbing. We settled on Belcekiz and paid for sun loungers and umbrellas, and went to our restaurant for lunch. In any case, these costs must be included in the cost estimate. In Laguna it is good to relax with children. Adults are not interested. The sea is shallow, a pleasant greenish color, warmer than on a public beach, the sunset is smooth. There are practically no waves, like in a lake. The beach is sandy. A lot of greenery (including beautiful, but poisonous oleanders), respectively, in abundance of shady areas. Sun loungers can be rearranged to a convenient place. There is a small playground, as well as a Vip Zone.
Oludeniz is an extraordinary place. Tourists from all over the coast are brought here on an excursion. The bewitching color of the sea, the azure sky, Mount Baba-Dag, propping up the village, from the top of which paragliders descend in an endless stream and land on the promenade... All this a hundredfold covers the individual shortcomings of the hotels located here, making the rest unforgettable. And NOA Hotels Oludeniz Resort will be remembered as a nice, homely, calm, cozy hotel.
