The tour was booked about a week before departure, confirmation was almost instantaneous. We flew to Turkey, where the TUI operator announces to us that the hotel in which we planned our vacation (AKKA Claros 4 *) is full and we will be settled in another hotel, a higher category (Akka Alinda 5 *). In confirmation of our consent, we were asked to sign a resettlement document. We were placed on the bus (no documents, TUI phone numbers, the manager did not provide feedback, explaining this by the fact that we were checking into a hotel that was not provided for by the ticket), while we were being transported, the girl (TUI manager) told a story about Turkey, about the excursions that she offers tour operator and, incidentally, constantly said that she and the driver would be happy if we, the tourists, reward them with money for a good trip. As far as I've seen, no one has done this.
We were taken to the hotel, the girl escorted us to the reception, once again reminded us how lucky we were to be accommodated in the Five (apparently counting on a tip) and the bus drove on.
At the reception, a man who did not understand Russian registered our check-in and handed over the keys. The room was good, but corner and very dark. While we were getting used to our really happy situation (the Akka Alinda hotel is both beautiful and big), we got a call from the client manager of the Akka Alinda hotel and, without explanation, said that tomorrow we would be moved to our original hotel AKKA Claros. The whole day was ruined. We felt like outcasts. It is one thing to immediately check into the hotel that you yourself have chosen, and another thing is to first hear about our colossal luck from the tour operator regarding the best hotel, and then, when there is no one to turn to for help and clarification, be expelled.
The next day, we decided to contact the client manager for an explanation of the situation: where the AKKA Claros hotel is located, which room was free (we already knew that this hotel had semi-basement rooms), how to get to the hotel. It turned out that yesterday's Russian-speaking manager was replaced and we again found ourselves in front of a person who understands nothing or negligibly little in Russian. The girl began to call somewhere. As a result, she did NOT answer our questions at all and only repeated: “You will be fed. Everything is good. You are being escorted. "
Having achieved nothing, by the appointed time (12 o'clock in the afternoon) we went to the reception with our things, handed over the keys, hotel cards and began to intensively wait for the resettlement. An hour passed, then the second began, it turned out that they forgot about us ...After 30 minutes, a porter came out, took our suitcases and ran out of the hotel with us.

It was only from him that we learned the whole truth: the AKKA Claros hotel was closed and only today (at the beginning of the tourist season) is opening. How TUI, and the hotel itself, confirmed our check-in at AKKA Claros is not clear, and why we were not immediately told that the hotel was closed is also not clear. It turns out that we were worried, twisted unthinkable assumptions and were nervous only because of the concealment of the truth by TUI managers and Akka Alinda hotel employees. In general, at 13:30 we were in AKKA Claros (the hotels are located across the road from each other - 8 minutes walk).
I will immediately rate the work of the reception and client managers of the Akka Alinda hotel as “bad”.
In unforeseen situations, employees are not used to working and do not know how, they do not give adequate answers to questions, do not explain the causes of a particular problem, forget about their guests and make them wait for settlement and resettlement (by the way, this is true not only in relation to us, but and to other guests of Akka Alinda - while we were waiting in the lobby, we managed to look at the work of the employees).
SO, WE WAS HELD AT AKKA Claros.
Upon entering the hotel, we saw crowds of Turks (girls and men) - employees of this hotel. They sat on the kitchen terrace and had lunch. After completing the check-in paperwork, we were invited to have lunch. The food, most likely, brought from Akka Alinda (because the kitchen did not work) was very scarce, and it was embarrassing to eat when so many people looked at you like a strange animal. The coffee machine didn't work, there was no tea. I must say right away that the hotel was completely unprepared for our arrival.
The slides by the pool did not work, we were able to use Wi-Fi only at the end of the third day of our stay in Turkey: in Akka Alinda they did not connect us, and in AKKA Claros the network did not work. The tour we bought for 9 days did not justify its cost, even the basic things (soft drinks, internet, etc. ) available in any properly functioning hotel were missing. They didn’t give us specific answers to our questions about the start of this or that service, but constantly said in a sad voice: “Well, you understand that the hotel is just opening ... ” As if this should have made it easier for us - the cost of the tour was paid in full.

SETTLEMENT. For gifts from Russia and tips, as well as due to the fact that the hotel was EMPTY - we were even offered to choose our room from those that had just been cleaned and prepared for settlement. We chose a room with a view of the pool and mountains - just a dazzling beauty!
Through the mountain, which was clearly visible to us from the balcony, one day we went to the neighboring city of Kemer. And, already towards the end of the holiday, we conquered its peak! I advise everyone!
ROOM AND CLEANING. Our number 1215 is quite acceptable. A rather important minus is the constant flow of the shower cabin. After washing, you go out into the bathroom and stand in a puddle, a centimeter high. The puddle does not go away and so the whole day fills the room with dampness. The cleaners seem to be aware of this problem, because constantly, after each cleaning, they tucked the shower cabin with towels - but this did not help, and the towels were damp through and through after the first wash.
Another negative is the broken key holder. At our entrance, it was already half-broken, and then the cleaners broke it. We glued it with superglue, but its service will not be enough for a long time.
The cleaning itself is quite decent: towels were changed almost every day, the bathroom was cleaned, trash cans were cleaned.
Yes, indeed, there are semi-basement rooms.
As they write here, they are damp and moldy (we ourselves did not see or feel). But given that when cleaning the rooms of the upper floors, water is poured through the balcony onto the lower ones, these same semi-basement rooms turn out to be very damp and never dry out. And if, as in our room, the shower cabin leaks, it will be generally bad.

NUTRITION. In the first days, when there were only the two of us and maybe two other tourists in the hotel, the food was almost the same as when, at the end of our holiday, the hotel was already half full. Cape or meat products, fish, vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, eggplant), fruits (apricots, strawberries, watermelons), cheeses, scrambled eggs, yogurts and fillers for them, greens, pastries (cakes, croissants, buns) - everything is very tasty! There were many dishes that we did not eat, simply because we did not want to: salads with mayonnaise, 2 or 3 types of sausage, corn flakes and chocolate balls with milk, scrambled eggs, milk porridges, soups, etc.
At first, when you first get acquainted with the dining room, it seems that the choice is not large, but then you see that there is enough and enough of everything.
ANIMATION. What a horror, what a horror! Animation began its work around the middle of our holiday. A young man of bright appearance with constantly dirty long hair; a long girl and another shorter girl. We don’t even know their names - no one met us) I want to say right away that they DO NOT fulfill their direct duties (communication with guests, organizing entertainment events and games for guests, etc. ). A young man can ALWAYS be seen in the forefront at the beginning of breakfasts, lunches and dinners. If they give ice cream or cakes, he is the first to eat them. We even have a photo)) What is the animation in this hotel? For children - a mini-disco (and then, the dancing was carried out by an incoming animator girl). Evening karaoke with "Kalinka" or a playlist from Yura Shatunov.
Evening live music with the same Shatunov. That's it, this animation is over. On the fifth day of our vacation, one of the two slides by the pool started working, on the 6th day they set up a tennis table, on the 8th day we played volleyball. Animation is very WEAK. There was absolutely nothing to do, so we organized our holidays on our own: we went to the mountains, to the neighboring city, spent a lot of time on the beach and in the sea. During the beginning of the evening program, we went to the room and closed the balcony so as not to hear the shrill and yelling entertainers. If you pay your “animation team” for eating according to the schedule and yelling into the microphone in the evening, then everything is in order, everything is as it is.
SWIMMING POOL. We swam in it once. Normal pool. If the slides had been working since the opening of the hotel, it would have been generally good.
BEACH. The fact that the hotel was empty during the days of our vacation did us good, except in terms of a beach holiday.

As they say here - "the beach is long and narrow", it is. There were very few tourists, and only a tenth of them went regularly to the beach (including us). Sun loungers, mattresses - everything is free. Beach boy is a pre-retirement man, very often absent from the beach, so the mattresses were taken on their own. The beach is not very clean: I found broken glass in the stones the size of half the palm of an adult, cigarette butts and candy wrappers are visible. In the evenings, the sea can also be dirty: foam, seed husks, candy wrappers. It is said that tourist “pirate” ships throw out this garbage, and in the evening it is washed ashore. Not nice.
RECEPTION STAFF. Be prepared for the fact that not all employees will understand you) Someone understands and speaks Russian well, someone does not even know one word. Very good background music is played in the reception hall: rock ballads and classical tracks.
In general, our vacation was quiet and calm in the slowly but surely opening hotel AKKA Claros: WI-FI - on the third day of our vacation; Slides by the pool - on the fifth day of rest (and then, only one of two); Animation (day, on the fifth or sixth). Broken shower and key holder. Terrible impressions of animation (it would be better if it did not exist at all). We were very disappointed that the hotel organizes holidays when it is still closed. Overpaid money for the lack of the agreed service is a very unpleasant situation. The unwillingness of Akka Alinda employees to provide assistance and answer questions was also disappointing. Disgusting work of TUI managers: colossal ignorance in providing information; cheating tourists; employees are "sharpened" only for the sale of excursions, and not for helping their tourists, etc.
As pluses, I can single out: the absence of a large number of tourists, background music in the hotel lobby, food.
