This year we decided to go again to a new hotel for us, this is Ak-ka Antedon in Beldibi (Kemer). The grandson grew up (3 years 4 months) and wanted something more diverse from children's entertainment. Many thanks to Tatyana Yshyk. She sent us the concept of the hotel "Summer 2015" and the registration card in advance. When we arrived at the hotel (already after 23:00), check-in took just a few minutes, since everything was already full.
The hotel area is large, beautiful, very green. The lawns are covered with green grass, you can sit on them with a small child, which many did. There are a lot of children. We arrived on May 10 and there were not very many people for 3-4 days, which we really liked. But then vacationers began to increase every day, queues appeared in the restaurant. As we were told, the occupancy of the hotel approached the maximum.
The impression of the hotel is very good. The pool is huge, I just fell in love with it. The grandson visited the children's pools on the second day of arrival and we did not take him there anymore, because at night that day he had an attack of croup. I do not want to associate it with the children's pool, maybe it was acclimatization, maybe on the bus (when we were driving from the airport) the children who were sitting in the back "coughed up" on it. But we did not want to take risks and began to take our grandson to the adult pool, which he was very happy about.
The food is honestly average. Have seen better. With the influx of people, the waiters stopped having time to clean up the dirty dishes. But in truth, I got the impression that some waiters give preference to foreigners and literally watch when they finish one dish and immediately remove the dirty plate, and let the Russians sit at the table, where there is nowhere to put the plate. But this is my opinion.
About the children's restaurant. The food is monotonous, the same as in the general restaurant, but without spicy dishes. Cheerful design and cartoons on the big screen are pluses. The grandson was fed in a common restaurant, he was not hungry.
The beach is big, there are a lot of sunbeds. Entrance with stones, but from the pier is very convenient. To the left of the pier (where there is a non-smoking area), the entrance is a little more comfortable. Bathed from day one. The water temperature is acceptable. It's funny: after the sea, the shower on the shore seemed warm, and after the pool, the same shower was cold.
My husband plays volleyball and upon arrival the first thing was to find a volleyball court. Found. According to her husband, the site is good, the sand is deep, but there are large stones. I would love to see this followed. At first, the sand was not watered, but after the comments of the players, the animator-girl organized watering (she herself or asked someone). A big plus - the site was fenced with a net.
There was enough entertainment, there would be a desire. In the morning, the animators walked around the territory, greeted everyone and invited to various events. A small note about the children's disco. At first it started at 20.30, and then suddenly for two days it started at 21.00. The children got ready earlier and jumped for half an hour, and the parents could not understand what was the matter. It turned out that a small announcement was hung on the fence of the mini-club about the postponement of the start time. But unfortunately, not everyone takes their children to the mini-club, and even those who went there, not everyone saw this ad. And the day before departure, the disco again started at 20.30 without an announcement. In general, I would like the information to be clearer, so that it reaches the vacationers.
I really liked that you could enjoy ice cream all day long. Refrigerators with a variety of drinks are available by the pool and on the beach.
For children there is a trampoline and electric cars (these are paid entertainment). The mini club is good, there is a labyrinth inside. They work with the kids all day, with short breaks.
I would like to note the service for the reception of guests. Upon arrival we had an empty minibar and no coffee/tea. It was worth saying how literally after a while everything appeared. Thanks!
As for cleaning, I can say: not perfect. From the very beginning, on the corner of the balcony, there was a piece of roll (it can be seen that it was thrown from above), from there it remained. The ashtray was washed and for some reason left in the bathroom, and not on the balcony. Of course, it is not difficult for us to rearrange it, but we would like order. A couple of times they did not put shower gel, I had to ask.
But these are all trifles. They didn't ruin your holiday at all. Yes, I want to once again note the help of Tatyana. When the grandson was taken to the hospital at night, he was prescribed medicine there, and it is given to children after 12 years of age. We asked Tatyana to contact the hotel doctor and ask him to examine her grandson again, which she did. Tanya, thank you for everything!
Room Tip: I would only recommend rooms on the 2nd floor and above. It's hard to say about the sides. Our room was on the right side of the main entrance. Near school, road, mosque. But when the balcony is closed, there is practically no noise. Nice view of the mountains and the sea to the left.
