We have just returned, and as usual I am in a hurry with you, dear tourists will share their impressions.
I will start my review with a description of the incident that happened to us at this hotel, and then you decide whether to read on and consider Akka antedon as a potential vacation spot or not.

It was the last day of our vacation (11.10) and we calmly spent it - sunbathing, swimming, practically did not drink alcohol. But after dinner, my wife's health deteriorated sharply (nausea turned into vomiting, weakness, headache, indigestion), of course, she did not go to dinner, she stayed in the room. Attributing this to a possible overheating in the sun, I (without betraying it due importance) went to a restaurant. After dinner (I emphasize that I only drank a glass of wine), I, as if nothing had happened, went to bed early.

I woke up at one in the morning, from terrible vomiting, dizziness and shaking of the whole body, then of course it dawned on us that it was not overheating in the sun, but acute food poisoning. Sorry for the details, but I've never been so sick in my life, even after student drinking. The situation was critical, the bus was supposed to pick us up at 4-00, and at 3-30 I could not just move away from the toilet. Having recovered a little, they called a taxi for $ 80 and in limbo we went to the airport. Most likely, there was a spoiled salmon. In the evening, there was a Turkish ambulance at the hotel, they asked for activated charcoal in the corridor, and someone in the neighboring rooms was also very sick, in short, everyone had fun, but we were especially lucky to get such a “Turkish night” on the road.
Of course, we can say that we were not lucky, because a similar story happened to us in the Crimea (after that we stopped going there), but sorry, Akka antedon positions itself as 5+ and is not cheap, so I did not expect this. I gave a low rating for nutrition solely for such a “gift from the Turks”.

Now I will actually describe the rest.

Tour operator Turtess (it seems to have already been bought by TUI).
Price 3000.9days

Flight
Utair (Kharkov - Antalya). It's ok, no delay. Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The food on the way to Turkey is normal, I didn’t have the opportunity to try it back)) Only when we landed in Kharkov there was a heavy fog, we saw the strip for 500 meters, in short it was a bit dumb)

Hotel room.
Fresh, clean, pleased with a large closet, 4 Russian channels and 3 Ukrainian. The room has a Wi-fi network: akka login: 100 password: 100. The Internet works fine (skype, youtube).

Food and drink
Apart from what happened to us, I really enjoyed it.
Huge range of dishes, every day I found something new. Theme nights were about 5 times in 9 days, they serve new corresponding dishes. Some subtleties that I did not immediately discover: for breakfast, fresh can be poured immediately to the right at the entrance to the main restaurant; near the main entrance to the beach during the day you can taste cocktails, fruits at different times, and closer to dinner (who can’t stand it) cold shawarma or a sandwich; during the day, a flatbread is fried in the gazebo on the territory of the beach bar; ice cream, sweets and excellent Turkish coffee can be obtained near the additional restaurant.
Drinks are quite decent for Turkey. Beer Tuborg, Carslberg, cocktails are not bad (the ingredients are real Maliby, Bacardi) wine is like an average Ukrainian, I didn’t drink vodka, but the bottles were Absolut, Finlandia.

Hotel, grounds and beach.

I didn’t really like the location of the hotel, although it’s close to the airport, but it’s too big a bay (you can see all of Antalya) which is more affected by the wind than others (this is especially true in the off-season). There is also a school, a mosque and a highway right next to the hotel, and if I got used to children's cries and prayers, then the constant hum of cars and buses did not make it possible to completely turn off the working rhythm.
The hotel is very large, rich interior. There is a fairly large heated indoor pool, hammam, sauna, everything is free and available. Inside there is a room for playing chess and bridge, a room with a large TV and tables for playing cards, a library, an Internet cafe (you only need to ask for a password at the reception for free), a billiard room with 3 tables, a small cinema. There is a huge lobby bar inside, during bad weather there was live music. Near the street restaurant, there is a billiard table for playing pool.
In general, if you are not lucky with the weather, there will be something to do. The territory is excellent, well-groomed, thoughtful, clean. There are hammocks, many shops, gazebos.

Weather.
Not the first time in Turkey at this time of the year, so they were not going to take sweaters, but in vain. The first three days of our vacation were very windy, no one swam in the sea, they sunbathed only near the pool. Then it got warmer (30 in the afternoon), the wind disappeared, the sea is excellent, but in the evening it is very cool in one T-shirt.

Excursion.
Demre-Mira-Kekovo bought at the hotel $ 120 for two. We left at 7:00 and returned at 19:00. Drive to the first point for two hours. So, the first stop is the "Icon Center" near the church of St. Nicholas. For tourists who have been on excursions in Turkey, it is the norm that the Turks are more willing to sell you their wonderful goods than to show their cultural heritage. A large signboard exclusively in Russian, no price tags, standard fairy tales, in general, everything is as usual.

As a result, half an hour of time under the tail. Around the corner are the same icon centers, only on a smaller scale, about a dozen. Yes, true believers will forgive me for some sarcasm, but it is very annoying when business is done in this way on religion, and it is still alien to Turkey. Then the guide took us to the church of St. Nicholas - very interesting, but we stayed there for only an hour and during this time you simply do not have time to see everything, and there was not enough information. The next place we visited was Mira. There we examined the ancient amphitheater and rock burials of the ancient people of the Lycians, which is also interesting. After that, our group went for lunch and to the port for a boat trip on a small yacht. In the course of the walk, we examined the ancient ruined city on the island (which partially went under water), swam in the bay. On the yacht you can order several seafood dishes and drinks.
On the way back, wine tasting in the next wine center, it will also take you an hour of time. As for the former Ottoman Empire, the tour is not bad)

Summary.

Of course, in Akke you can fully relax and enjoy the sun, the Mediterranean Sea, well-groomed territory and service, but the story of the poisoning crossed out all this for us. In terms of price / quality ratio, there are better offers.
A little tired of not sincere, feigned Turkish hospitality, whatever one may say, we are strangers to them. I wish you, dear tourists, not to get into unpleasant stories, velvet tan and only positive emotions.

All the best and have a good rest!
