We have been vacationing in Turkey for 10 years already, we were in many wonderful hotels, including the Palace in 2007... But this year 2012 is just terrible... We rested from June 30 to July 14, with 3 children 11 years old , 3.5 years and 4 months.
I will be constructive so as not to engage in huge writings...
Pros:
-very good animation, the guys are trying, entertaining the kids, watching them, we liked it
-green territory, there is also a shade for children and you can take pictures in beautiful places
-responsive getrelation, the girls really respond to requests and complaints, and then clarify whether we are satisfied or there are some other problems
- ice cream in the afternoon and in the evening, the children liked it very much
-nice guys security at the entrance to the hotel, very friendly, my heart was happy when they went out and came in
- a good mini-disco, the girls animators are very funny, the kids are happy
Minuses:
- the hotel has a terrible lack of sanitation, dirty dishes, as it should be, after the scandals of people, the managers themselves take apart the plates and bring clean (relatively... ), glasses *, from which it’s scary to take something that you can’t drink ((( Forks and knives should be thoroughly cleaned before eating.
- the waiters are frostbitten, there are of course friendly, but there are only a few of them, especially the guy Ahmed is something, he is a boor and a rude person !!!
-there is no Internet, at least paid, at least free, the most elementary call on Skype was extremely rare and you can’t hear anything, everything freezes (
- the food was dumb, there wasn’t much variety, to be honest, by the end of 2 weeks, chicken and fish with rice and pasta were already fed up, there were a lot of apples from fruits, nectarines and peaches were also almost always there, grapes and plums weren’t every day, cherries were pampered 2 times for the rest....the choice of sweets is not huge, but there were
- the pool stank very much, not bleach, but like medicines, I really like to swim in the pool, but this year I just disdained to go there
-near the pool, no one cleans, the dirt is spread by feet or shoes
-beds on the beach are dirty, if someone spilled juice before you, then you will lie in this juice the next day
-every day the owner of the hotel, according to Pegasus, comes to the hotel, but obviously his task is to pick up the cash desk and leave, because nothing has been done on his part to improve the service for vacationers
-we lived in a 2-level family room 2417, when we were told that the hotel was just being renovated, we laughed a lot, the rooms were shabby, the handles on the doors dangled, the towel shelf in the bathroom fell on my head 2 times, the stairs were broken , we repaired it on the day of arrival...
-the towels in the room are stained, the sheets too... I'm not picky, but it's 5 stars, you don't want to clean the stains, buy dark-colored towels and you will be happy, vacationers will not notice anything...
-the mini bar was not replenished every day... you call the gestrelation - they will replenish it, if you don’t call, they won’t replenish it
-cleaning the room consists in folding the towels in a pile and making the bed... on the 13th day of my stay, I could not stand it and asked to simply vacuum it on the balcony, though they immediately responded) they waited 2 days for liquid soap, when again they complained, it became something to wash my hands) ))
- the girl in front of me left an excellent review about the air conditioner... it doesn’t work at night, it’s hot, it’s stuffy, you open the balcony door, crazy tourists yell wildly and this is near the 2nd relax building, where families with children... one more but... air conditioning in the elevator, it is so cold there that by the time you get from 1 to 3 floors, you are covered with ice, the drop is crazy... but it’s hot in the room...
-I am a nursing mother, I lay with poisoning for 4 days, my husband has the same story, only 2 days later he returned to normal, the day before departure, the older child with poisoning and a temperature of 38 lay in the room, they were already cured at home, at the time of our arrival, there were a lot of poisonings, ambulances drove in and out of the hotel several times a day, people with a temperature of 40 were taken to the hospital, I talked with a girl, she was pregnant, about the 5th month, also with poisoning, and my husband and his friend were hospitalized in Kemer , scandal after scandal at the reception, and representatives of the Pegasus smile sweetly and say that everything is fine in the hotel...
