We were in Turkey for the third time, as always, we chose a hotel very carefully - after all, we were traveling with a child. For us, a large territory and good food were important, so we settled on Amara. I will say right away that Amara coped with these requirements. The territory is very green, beautiful, well-groomed. Pine trees, orange trees, hibiscus bushes, blooming vines and the complete absence of mosquitoes, flies and other unpleasant insects. The only disadvantage of the layout, as for me, is the concentration of all bars, restaurants and entertainment on a small patch in front of the sea and the pool.
Settlement. We had a night plane, we ordered an individual transfer, we were at the hotel at seven o'clock in the morning. Our daughter is five years old, a couple of our friends with a four-year-old daughter were traveling with us. We spent three or four hours at the reception, as the rooms were not ready (settlement, of course, from 12, we were offered to go for breakfast - which we did, and at 11 o’clock we were given cards from the rooms. We lived in a bungalow near the restaurant (rooms from the number 7**). The room is good - spacious, everything worked, but obviously tired since the last reconstruction. Yes, when we checked in, a bottle of wine and a basket of fruits were waiting for us in the room - it was nice. Bathrobes, towels, slippers - available. Slippers were changed a couple of times, bathrobes, in my opinion, no. We were lucky with the cleaning - they cleaned every day, changed the bed, towels, decorated the bed. The child wanted to sleep with me on a large bed, dad had to allocate a folding chair - so two days later without At any request from our side, an extra normal bed was put in the room. The windows overlooked the garden, so there was no particular noise, except for the sounds of discos in neighboring hotels.
Our friends were less fortunate - the room was smaller, they cleaned badly, despite tips and calls to the reception - they lived in a bungalow across from us.

We were a bit unlucky with the weather - for a couple of days it rained so much that it was simply unrealistic to get to the restaurant, when we called the reception asking for an umbrella, they offered to come for it ourselves - let me remind you that our bungalow was the farthest from the reception. Then they brought an umbrella. Because of these rains, there was force majeure in the general restaurant - it was unrealistic to sit on the verandas, water was pouring from the air conditioning system in the hall, there were sorely lacking seats.
About food: here Amara gives odds to any hotel. The food was a lot of different, tasty and at any time. Meat - chicken, turkey, beef, lamb, quail and even frog legs, liver. Fish - constantly and always several species. Seafood - squid, shrimp, mussels. Vegetables and herbs, fruits - no complaints. A lot of different teas, which was handy with small children. I'm just talking about sweets. Ice cream all day of 8 kinds it seems. So much food for breakfast and lunch, I have not met in any hotel before, despite the fact that everywhere they were always only in the top five. It is a pity that the fresh was only for breakfast (and champagne in the morning next to the fresh on ice, but we did not try it). What I really liked was that whenever you came for dinner, the assortment did not become poorer because of this, new pots were taken out all the time. No queues for the grill. Service in general is a solid four - the waiters sometimes slowed down, but the tip usually speeded up the process.
Beach: as for me, then C grade. The beach itself is small, the place for entering the sea is cleared only on the right side - 20 meters, no more. Sunbeds close to each other, catching the sun is simply unrealistic. The sea is dirty, the sand too.
Bars - like everywhere in Turkey. Strained lack of espresso in the morning - only after 10 hours. Good mojito and disgusting margarita. Tequila is normal.
Didn't use the pools. There are two slides.
Animation - triple with a plus. The level of a house of culture in an urban-type settlement. The kids club is disgusting.
Sometimes there was no one to be found at all. In September, children are mostly of preschool age, and the animators did not know how to play with them, how to interest them. In the evenings they were shown cartoons on a stretched canvas under a pine tree, of disgusting quality. Our children did not like the children's disco, they refused to go to it.
My conclusion - Amara is a good hotel for moms with babies.
