A small preface. I have never considered Turkey in the off-season, except for sightseeing tours. I booked Madeira, I'm sitting, ironing the Internet, carefully compiling a program, getting ready, in a word. And then bam, they inform me that the airline, for some internal reason, changed the flight schedule, changing the flight from direct to connecting, and even with such an inconvenient time of departure and arrival, which would automatically result in additional expenses for me (overnight at the airport there -back, additional food, well, intangible, but such unpleasant agonizing hours of waiting between flights). After a week of correspondence with the airline and mutual altercations, my ticket was canceled, promising to return the full cost of the ticket. Money seems to be transferred to the card within 7 weeks. OK, I see - I believe.
Well, 2 weeks before the vacation, when it became finally clear that Madeira was cancelled, I began to feverishly look for where to go and it turned out that it was no longer possible to go where I still theoretically want. Either tickets are expensive, or flights are inconvenient, or fly with a transfer. Choose from what is available. Egypt - not at once! In Italy, on Catholic Easter, everything is closed for 4 days, from museums to taverns, Spain has swept aside for the same reason, I didn’t want to go north at all. And then I thought about Kemer. 10 years ago I was in Kemer in April as part of a sightseeing tour along the Lycian coast. And this delight from the riot of smells of blooming mimosas, oranges, tangerines, oleanders, and other vegetation for all 10 years excited my memories. I really wanted to breathe in all these magical aromas again! Well, if Kemer, then of course Amara DV or Rixos Sungate.
I chose Amara, although the prices for these two hotels, as well as for the hotels of the Delphin Hotels & Resorts network that I love, were approximately equal, but the Dolphins opened in April is Lara, and I set my sights on Kemer.

Arrived in Antalya, the transfer was individual, the hotel was rushed to the hotel in an hour. Settled in the building Portofino, with a direct view of the sea. Deluxe room very good. Spacious, bright, with a separate dressing room, which is closed with an electronic lock by code. A small pre-revolutionary safe is mounted inside the dressing room. There is enough space for documents, a purse and jewelry, but the equipment will not enter. But no problem - the whole dressing room is closed, everything under lock and key can be stored in it. True, there is no particular reason to worry, I have not heard about cases of theft in the hotel. The balcony is large, a table with a marble top, two chairs, a clothes dryer, and attention: clothespins! This is the first hotel in which I met clothespins! I usually bring my own.
))) The bathroom has a bathtub and a separate shower. Toilet bowl with bidet function. Not very hygienic, in my opinion, but not upsetting. If you don't want it, don't use it. There are more than enough places for washing. Cosmetics: dental kit: a large tube of Colgate toothpaste and two toothbrushes. Shaving kit: disposable razor, shaving foam can and wet wipe. Set: ear sticks, cotton pads, nail file, small comb. And a body kit: shower gel, body cream, shampoo, conditioner, bath foam, washcloth, 2 bars of soap. Waffle robes, but very soft, awesome quality, I would love to buy these home. Slippers are soft, foam-based. In the summer it will be very hot in these, in April - that's it. The cleaning lady changes slippers at her discretion, as they get dirty. Bathrobe if you throw it on the floor. The room has a wardrobe and a mini-bar. In the closet: dishes, water, an electric kettle, a choice of tea and coffee in bags, nuts, chips.
In the refrigerator: packaged juices, Efes beer, water, cola, fanta and some kind of energy drink, Toblerone chocolate. Welcome bottle of wine and fruits in the room upon arrival. The room suited me completely, but I so wanted to live in the Venice building! I asked at the reception, they moved without problems. If there were no numbers, I would not be upset. Now I can compare. Deluxe room in Venice with direct sea view, directly above the restaurant. No foreign smells! The room is absolutely identical to the room in Portofino, maybe a little larger and differs only in the presence of an ottoman. In all other respects - one to one, including floor scales. Except, perhaps, in Portofino there were ORT and NTV channels, but not in my room in Venice. An electrician came, tuned the channels for a long time, said he needed to change the TV. I don’t know if I changed it, but the channels never appeared. Yes, to hell with them! We don't come to watch TV!
I looked at the news on RTR and Rossiya 24, and so I only turned on the music channels, and when I was going to dinner, I put on make-up. Otherwise, all issues were resolved with lightning speed. Replaced the battery in the floor scales, repaired the email. lock on the door to the wardrobe. Evening housekeeping regularly brought sweets, they were wondering if something needed to be taken away, changed, etc. Walking along Istanbul Street and Roma Street, I managed to peep the club rooms. Now there is an active renovation, almost all the rooms have been restored. They are simpler than rooms in deluxe buildings, but also very nice. Many with separate dressing rooms. Their main advantage is that they are located right in the forest! In the summer it's just heaven! And although there is no view of the sea, I would be very pleased to live in the heat in the shade of centuries-old pines and cedars. In the low season, probably still more comfortable in the main buildings, warmer. Although, many even in the low season prefer to live in a bungalow.

Not all a la carte restaurants are open during the low season. I dreamed of visiting a restaurant of molecular cuisine - it was not possible. Seeing my sincere frustration, the chef offered to visit any of the open restaurants for free (in general, this pleasure costs 25 euros), that is, either Zen Asia or Taverna. But somehow I was not ignited by this idea, but thanks for the invitation! I ate at the main restaurant and at the 24-hour Fellini restaurant. Some delicious, some not so good. But I think it's not about the skill of the chefs, but rather about your personal preferences. In any case, you can always find what you like. The green borscht, for example, was not very good, but the red one was almost homemade. Very tasty bread, especially black, with fruits and nuts. Strawberries every day, next to melted chocolate. There is no fountain, they promise to do it by the opening of the summer concept. Turkish sweets are beyond praise! Especially baklava and sherbet in glasses. Turkish coffee is served with Turkish delight.
For example, upon arrival, I was very, no, not so, very, very, very surprised by the absence of Turkish gozleme cakes. Okay, the molecular restaurant is closed until better times, but tortillas? ? ? Well guys, well, I did not expect from Amara! There is plenty of this goodness in any good 5 *, and even in deluxe class hotels, with which Amara positions herself, and even more so. I asked why there was no gozleme, they said - there is for breakfast. Okay, what's stopping you from making them for lunch, since you can have them for breakfast? They said it was a winter concept. But the chef contacted the management and promptly organized the preparation of flatbreads on the street, opposite Portofino. My gratitude knew no bounds, especially since Turkish women bake them very tasty!
I was on a tour of the hotel kitchen. Everything was shown, told, carried out in all departments. Were everywhere except warehouses and refrigerators. The technology of cooking, cutting products, hygiene is observed.
I was especially interested in how ice is made. It turns out that from ordinary water, but which undergoes multi-stage purification. I have repeatedly seen how sanitary and epidemiological supervision specialists take samples of food and drinks. That is, cleanliness in the hotel has been elevated to the rank of a cult! And yet, cases of poisoning in the hotel still happen. I accidentally witnessed an incident: Russian tourists wrote a claim that they had poisoned themselves in the Fellini restaurant. Personally, I ate at Fellini 3 or 4 times, but I only ate the assortment of the buffet, I didn’t order anything from the card. Thank God, no sad consequences! But I think I can guess why. Public toilets are kept clean, but soap dispensers are often out of stock. And so I take turns going around all the dispensers in the women's toilet, then in the men's, after making sure that no one is there, then in the toilet for the disabled. As a rule, it was in it that soap was still present, it is understandable, this toilet is less often used.

God be with them, with the swans, if only there was soap and water!
Entertainment in the hotel according to the winter concept. That's the music. the team will play, then in another place. Animation seems to be some kind, but sluggish. I don’t pay attention to this at all, I don’t really need animation in principle. As entertainment, I went to the spa. And not boring, and good for health. I took a package: hammam-peeling-soap massage-oil massage and a course of massages every day. I went to the hammam every day, to the saunas. Well! The masseur Muslim is a good specialist. I only went to him. In general, they have a good team there, cheerful. They bring tea to the relaxation room, they will talk about life!
The biggest drawback of the hotel is the beach, at least in April. This is tin! The beach is not ready at all. There are potholes everywhere from a bulldozer, no wooden paths, the pier is being assembled. They start at 5 in the morning to drive in piles and cut holes in the metal with a burr. Those sounds! Okay, I'm sleeping soundly. And the people complained.
Forget sun umbrellas! When I asked if it was possible to organize an umbrella on the beach, I was politely but persistently offered to sunbathe by the pool, there they say, umbrellas are available, and all the amenities. An interesting thing, I have overcome thousands of kilometers to "enjoy" the smell of bleach by the pool? But in general, the beach hotel, the first line, do not forget, positions itself as a deluxe hotel! Or am I confusing something? I read on the forums that a week before my arrival, tourists were generally not allowed to the beach, guided by safety rules, they say bulldozers drive there so as not to crush anyone! Then we went to meet the vacationers and took out about 20-25 sunbeds to the beach. But getting to them is an adventure! The stairs to the beach have been dismantled. So they did it at their own peril and risk. I can only sunbathe in the shade. I got out of the situation by asking for a regular rain umbrella. So she lay, holding the umbrella with one hand, cursing and thinking, what the hell? And is it deluxe?

Here is the Delphin Hotels & Resorts chain - it's really deluxe. Last season, serious disputes flared up on the travel forums, which is better: the Dolphin network or the Amar network? So, in my subjective opinion, Amara Dolce Vita loses a lot to Dolphin hotels, especially new ones. And since I recently visited the new Delphin Botanik Platinum, I declare with confidence: row and row to Amare Dolphins! No, I don’t call anyone to anything, think for yourself, decide for yourself, but personally I really regretted that I went to Amara, and not to Dolphin, and the price at Delphin Imperial was slightly higher, almost the same. Crap! Only Kemer won!
Can I recommend a hotel? I will refrain from recommendations. Or rather, this hotel is probably really beautiful in the high season, but I was not lucky enough to know it in all its glory. And instead of meeting a beautiful fairy, an evil old pawnbroker appeared before me. In any case, I definitely can not recommend this hotel to my friends.
I have a friend who is an ardent fan of the Dolphin network. I tried to persuade her to go to Amara for a long time. To which she reasonably said: “Come on, go to Amara alone, and then we will go together to one of the Dolphins. ” Oh, and I was glad that she did not go with me. She would have gnawed my head off for my idea of visiting Amara! Lena, hello! )))
The good: The area is great! And landscaping, and lush vegetation, and a wonderful zoo! The building is definitely tired. In the photo, everything looks much more beautiful and pompous. In fact, the carpet is stained, it would be nice to clean it, at least on the floors. I don’t lower my grades for this, for me these are trifles. But the territory and vegetation - it pleases! Of course, new hotels look like candy. Building technology has come a long way. But on the other hand, as a minus, stunted vegetation in new hotels. In the meantime, it will grow, the hotel will "get tired. "
Who in the rooms will not have floor scales, do not be discouraged. Scales are at the entrance to the hotel, where the winding of suitcases. Wrapping up costs 6 € (or 8 $), at the airport 9 €. They wind well, at home they barely tore off the film!

P. S. Dear employees of the PR department, if you follow the reviews, I really want to express my gratitude to the chef Levent, the cleanliness fairy Aisha, who cleaned room 8241, the girls from the lobby bar, the guys from the main restaurant who serve the winter garden, women, baking gozleme and reception workers. Many thanks for their work! As a wish, it would be easier to get acquainted with the concept of recreation in different seasons, so that the information would be accessible and more transparent. Then tourists who are not satisfied with something would be automatically eliminated. And then everything is so veiled, as if a military secret! Rebus, well, solve it!
Will I come to this hotel again? I do not know!
To be honest, firstly, I don't like to go to the same hotel several times, and secondly, as they say: you will never get a second chance to make a first impression! Although, it is very interesting to visit there in the high season and get acquainted with the full version of the real Amara, to compare with the truncated one.
