Who does the author recommend the hotel to?: For a relaxing holiday; For business travel; For families with children
Rested with my husband in Amara Dolce Vita from 13 to 20 March 2011.
The tour operator was TEZ TOUR. By the way, this hotel is the property of this tour operator.

There are no complaints about the company, only words of gratitude for the well-established work! Near the airport, we were expected in a group transfer - the TEZ TOUR bus. On the way to the hotel, the escort provided very complete information about the possible options for spending time, I mean excursions and activities on the territory of the hotel.

Upon arrival at the hotel, we were met by a girl, the lower part of whose dress, from the waist, seems to cover a round table on which they stand, sweets, glasses and champagne on ice. Smiling amiably, she treated all the guests to champagne and Turkish delight.
After tasting the goodies, we went to one of the lobby bars and filled out guest cards to receive electronic room keys. Luggage was left at the entrance, where it was looked after by a hotel employee.

While our data was being entered into the computer, we were taken to the main restaurant for lunch. After a chic dinner, we received the keys to the rooms, and our luggage was brought to the room on special cars. On such machines they can also carry vacationers around the territory.

About the rooms.
We paid for a room with a sea view, which we were given in the Portofino building.
All rooms in this building have the same interior and overlook the pool and the sea. We were given the keys to the last room on the 1st floor. The view is not bad, but the palm trees covered the islands in the sea, and from a greater height I wanted to admire the open spaces. $ 10 in the passport as a thank you quickly solved this little problem and we settled in a deluxe room on the 3rd floor. A fruit platter, wine and cloves on the bed awaited us. Nicely! The room is amazing! Unusually bright and very spacious (footage - more than 40 square meters). Everything is tastefully done, stylish and expensive.
The room has everything you need: a wardrobe (it has a safe), a plasma TV, a DVD player, a huge beautiful armchair, a sofa, a wide bed, a dressing table, a table with an electric kettle, a cupboard with cups, plates and glasses, a refrigerator (mini-bar which is replenished every day. The minibar has 4 bottles of mineral water, 2 cans of beer, 2 small packs of juice, cola, fanta, sprite, some local pear drink and a chocolate bar. ). Every day replenished stocks of coffee, tea, nuts and chips. On the beautiful balcony there is a round table and 2 armchairs. (Our morning always started at 6:00 on the balcony with a meeting of the sun and drinking a cup of coffee. )
The bathroom also made the most positive impression. There is also a shower and a bath. All in marble and mosaic tiles. There was even a picture on the wall!
On the marble countertop in front of the mirror, we found all the necessary toiletries (sanitary napkins, razor and shaving foam, cotton pads and sticks, bathing cap, hair balm and shampoo, shower gel, washcloth, after-sun cream ... ).

Yes, each person is provided with a terry bathrobe and a pair of slippers. This is very convenient, especially if you are going to swim in the pools! In the morning the air temperature was +17, and the water in the pool +25. I bathed and wrapped myself in a warm bathrobe.
We also visited club rooms on Roma Street and Istanbul Street. (The hotel consists of 3 buildings and two streets with standard rooms. The main building is Venice. It houses all restaurants, bars, shops, salons, a spa, bowling, etc. ). The rooms are very decent too. Large, nice design, but a little simpler in terms of materials used. There is even a dressing room.
All rooms have balconies overlooking the pine forest, some of the pool or tennis courts. Bathrobes in these rooms are waffle, fruit and wine in the room upon arrival was also not. True, the cost of living for 7 days differs from the cost of living in deluxe standards by $ 200-300 (in the winter season).

Room cleaning was daily. Cleaned very high quality! True, we left $ 1 under the ashtray on the balcony, but it seems to me that in this hotel everything is done as expected, even without a tip. Familiar girls did not leave anything, this did not affect cleaning and maintenance in any way. Once we left a tip on the table in the room, they were not taken, later they left it on the balcony. In addition to morning cleaning, there is also an evening shift. They put everything in its place, make up the blanket before going to bed, bend its ends, and also put a box with two sweets on the pillow. Well, after such a service, the dream will not be sweet?
(But this nice little thing takes place only in deluxe rooms. )

In Amara we were met by a beautiful huge territory.
Everything is clean, beautiful, well maintained.
Despite the early spring, everything is green and full of flowers. The lawns are mowed, the grass is juicy green, palm trees, orange trees, agaves, many conifers.
The hotel is very well located. One side goes directly to the sea, and the other to the pine forest, which is located on the hills. In the distance you can see a mountain peak covered with snow. The view is fabulous.
And the smell of pine needles, and the birds singing there in the morning! It seems that you are in paradise!

In the evenings, the hotel itself, and the pools, and all the paths, and individual trees in the backlight.
For us it was an inexpressible pleasure to wander before going to bed along the alleys along the sea.

The territory has its own small zoo, where peacocks, pheasants, flamingos, ducks, swans, mountain goats, horses live. And the rabbits just run around the lawns and among the trees.
You can ride horses, however, the pleasure is not cheap - about 60 euros per hour.
There are many quiet and secluded alleys among the pines, where you can take a walk in the cool or sit on the benches during the hot time of the day.
Among the pine forest on the hill is a summer spa complex. Near it there is a pond, a summer cafe, a gazebo, a platform on which exercise equipment stands in the warm season. It's incredibly beautiful and comfortable.
Among the trees on the hills there is also a fish restaurant in the form of a lighthouse, the view from there is simply wonderful. However, this restaurant is open only in the summer.
There are tennis courts, a football field, a cinema, a club for children, and a playground in the hotel.
On the minus ground floor of the main building, there are many shops, however, very expensive ones, bowling (4 lanes), saunas, a spa, beauty salons, and many bars.
The pools are good too.
One huge summer one, one with sea water heated to 25 degrees, 1 large warm indoor pool, there are 2 more outdoor pools on Roma Street and Istanbul Street.
There is also a water park, but the territory is so large that we simply did not reach it, although I thought that we had explored all the hidden corners.

The beach is VERY long and wide enough. It was originally pebbly, but sand was brought with us, it was filtered and covered with pebbles. (By the beginning of the summer season, preparations are in full swing, and a huge amount of money is being invested for the convenience and comfort of vacationers. )

The entrance to the water, however, is still pebbly, it is more convenient to enter in special slippers for swimming. And in the summer there will be a descent into the water from the pier. It was put in order with us after the winter.
The water in the sea is the cleanest. It is so transparent that every pebble is visible, even at a depth.
In fact, it is VERY salty.
In mid-March, the water temperature in the sea was + 17 degrees, many swam.
But in the presence of a heated pool with sea water, the majority of vacationers were still in no hurry to dive into the sea.
There are quite a lot of sun loungers near the pool and by the sea, but by 10 am everyone is busy near the pools, and there are a lot of free ones on the beach, although this is in March, I can’t say how it will be in summer. Although in March the occupancy of the hotel was quite large, I would say about 75%.
The hotel is free, but beach towels are issued on cards. Cards are received along with room keys on the day of arrival. For the loss of it or towels promised to charge 20 euros.
Near the sun loungers by the main pool there are small tables on which you can put cocktails, champagne or other drinks poured in the Havana bar in front of the beach. Near the pool with sea water, the Vitamin Bar is open all day, where fresh juices are offered. There was always orange, grapefruit, carrot, apple juice.

The audience is very respectable. More couples.
There were few vacationers with children and young people. Half of the vacationers are Germans, mostly pensioners, 25% are Russians, a few Ukrainians, Belarusians, and British. I think in summer the situation changes, but in March the rest was very calm and relaxing (without the noise of open-air night discos).

The animation was present, but very unobtrusive, I would even say that it was rather weak, but it suited us perfectly, we went to relax and unwind. By noon, everyone was invited to water aerobics, picnics were arranged for children in the shade of trees on the lawn, and in the evenings at 21:15 there were shows of a local scale (the election of Mr. 22:00 live music, after 23:00 disco. In one of the hotel bars you could always listen to the pianist play.

In the summer, they say, shows are much more interesting. They are held in an outdoor amphitheater.
The schedule of all events for the week can be viewed at stands near the main restaurant.

The food at the hotel is just excellent. Such a variety of dishes is hard to imagine.
For breakfast, boiled eggs, fried eggs, omelettes with all kinds of fillings and additives according to your desire, which are fried right in front of you. There are 20 types of cheeses and cheeses, red fish, salted mackerel, fresh vegetables, sausages, pizza, cereals, waffles, donuts and pancakes with all kinds of jams, croissants, fresh fruits. Drinks are served by waiters.
For lunch, there are a lot of all kinds of meat dishes (kebabs, steaks, cutlets, kebabs, chops, meat stew with vegetables, meat sauces, meatballs, boiled beef, there are always several types of fish, salads in huge variations, pizza, several tables of sweets, amazing pastries. You can't remember everything!
All dinners are themed. On Monday, fish night (meat, of course, is also present).
Then Mexican, Latin, Italian, international, etc. The dishes are decorated superbly. There are castles and vases of caramel on the tables with sweets, chocolate fountains beat.
I also liked the fact that the main restaurant is divided into four halls, each of which has its own style and design. This allows you to disperse people, and even choose the right environment for your mood.

Summing up, I want to say that we really liked the rest, even in the off-season. We were lucky with the weather. During the day it was +20, but it was already hot, we managed to get a good tan. Of the 7 days, only one was rainy, but there was a stand with umbrellas near the exit of the hotel and raincoats were offered to everyone. A trifle, but nice!

It is a pity, of course, that not all bars and restaurants are open, that shows are rather weak and gala dinners are not held. But the price in March is very different from the summer. For 7 days of rest for two, we paid $ 1.700 (including flights). In summer it is 2 times more expensive.

We got a lot of pleasure from the beauty of nature, warm and comfortable weather, a wonderful hotel with a high level of service.
What can I say, I liked everything so much that when they returned home, they almost took a ticket and left for Amara again. There was a feeling that the sweet life (dolce vita) ended too quickly and I wanted to prolong it. Unfortunately, there were no more tickets for the next dates, and the vacation was ending. Now we plan to get to this paradise in November, when prices will drop and there will be fewer tourists. Next time we will go for 10 days.
