The first time we rested in Amara Dolce Vita in March last year. The hotel made a very pleasant impression. The area is fabulous, the rooms are beautiful, the service was on top. I just didn't want to leave. The second time we returned there in October, six months later. We could not wait for the trip, there was a feeling that we were returning to a very dear place, where, as it seemed to us, they were waiting for us and would be happy to meet us again. All six months before returning, we enthusiastically told friends and acquaintances about this heavenly place, so in October two more agitated people joined us to visit there.
And here we are in Amara. They settled us quickly, but how !! ! We got a room on the 1st floor with two separate beds. The first time when checking in was asked about shared or separate beds. This time, the decision to sleep separately was made by someone for my husband and me. The room did not have any compliment from the hotel to us as people who have already been here. I'm not a big fan of fruit or wine, but I wanted to feel that they were waiting for us... Nobody was waiting, alas... Our room was paid for with a sea view, but only a small strip of it is visible from the window of the 1st floor. For me, the view is very important, because. I am a big fan of photographing sunrises. I had to go back to the reception and solve the problems that had arisen. Yes, they were resolved after some time, but the mood was already spoiled.
The next unpleasant trifle was waiting for us in the evening. The hotel offers its guests an evening turn down service (the maid arrives at 9 o'clock in the evening, turns away the corner of the blanket and puts a box of sweets on the pillow. ) Agree, a pleasant trifle. But that evening, neither we, nor our friends, nor another familiar couple who were resting at the hotel during the same period, brought anything. It's not about the sweets, but about the attitude towards the guests. The problem was solved after Guest Relation contacted us with a question about the presence of this service, but we no longer received pleasure from this. There was a feeling that they begged for sweets for the night.

Another unpleasant moment was the obvious preference that the waiters showed to the German guests. I have nothing against the Germans, but when we sit for 15 minutes without drinks, and three waiters see this and just walk by and actively serve the Germans, you feel like second-rate.
Not very pleased with the cleaning on the open terrace of the restaurant. Chairs were often dirty in the morning. . .
Of course, none of this spoiled our holiday. There are a lot of positive moments that do not let us stop loving Amara Dolce Vita. You can read about them in my first enthusiastic review https://www.turpravda.com/tr/kemer/Amara_Dolce_Vita_Hotel-h9619-r48713.html We miss this place, where the sea meets the mountains, and the smell of pine needles gives a special charm to walks between the pines, and on April 11 we fly there again. I really want to believe that the situation has changed for the better and that now nothing will overshadow our 7 days of rest. We will see. . .
