Good afternoon! I want to share my impressions about the rest in the city of Kemer, Turkey, Ares Hotel Kemer 3 * from July 17 to July 24.2018.
Upon arrival in Antalya, we went to the Tez-tour counter and were directed to the bus that took us to Kemer. All the way we were told by a cheerful guide Tez-tour about the sights of Turkey, and that tomorrow we should meet with a hotel guide. Upon arrival at the hotel, the guide took us to the reception desk, on this we said goodbye to him.
We settled in the beautiful Ares Hotel Kemer, the third line, not far from the center, all inclusive.
Ares Hotels is a network of 4 hotels Ares City, Ares Blue, Ares Dream, and Ares Hotel, which are located in different parts of Kemer. In my opinion looking at other hotels we had the best one. A hotel with a beautiful view of the mountains, a swimming pool closed from prying eyes, and near the city center.

Let me tell you a little about the hotel. Ares Hotel is a hotel where you want to come back again. We were placed in one of the two U-shaped buildings, with a beautiful view of the mountains. On the territory there is a large pool 1.4 m deep, they even have a goal and a water polo ball. The pool is open from 6-00 to 18-00, there is a bar nearby. Friendly people work at the bar. From alcohol there is vodka, gin, white and red wine, drinks like our sprite, cola, fanta. Make cocktails 1 to 3. NO BEER.
Beer in Kemer is very expensive, 0.5 l - 7-10 lira ($ 2-2.5), 1 liter - 14-23 lira ($ 3.2-5). The maximum volume of beer is 1 liter. Cigarettes from $2 per pack.
Meals for 4, they try to diversify the dishes as much as possible, 3 times there were chicken dishes on the grill, very tasty. I immediately say red caviar, red fish, pork, beef, no, this is a troika hotel.
We arrived on Tuesday, and next to the hotel there is a long street where, only on Tuesdays, a very large market comes, mostly clothing. So, on the first day we had shopping.
On the second day, we had a meeting with the long-awaited sea, but before that, we had to buy tickets for an excursion that we had planned at home. Viber corresponded with a woman, she advised a trip on a Mega Star pirate ship, tickets cost us 2 adults + 1 child (4 years old) only $ 30.
Having bought tickets, we went to get acquainted with the hotel guide Tez-tour. At first there was a polite address, his name is IZMIR, he told about insurance and where we can find information about departure. Then he began to offer us excursions at a very fabulous price - from $ 50 for an adult and $ 30 for a child, we politely refused, to which he reacted very violently. Turned from a nice person into a HAM. He told us not to contact him again, and left without saying goodbye. The mood was spoiled for the whole day.
Beach - you can walk, the next 10-15 minutes walk, the option to lie on large pebbles for free, or pay for a sunbed from $ 3. Or our option - from the hotel takes a bus to our beach, 7 minutes to go. The bus is free, entrance to the beach is $ 1 per adult, this price is for the whole day, a ticket is issued. On the beach there are sunbeds and a canopy, as well as a bar. Prices at the bar: beer $5 for 0.5 l, $2 for drinks 0.250 l. The beach is clean, the pebbles are very pleasant to the feet.

On the third day, we had an excursion planned, we were picked up by a transfer and brought to the seaport. There were about 10 pirate ships, we had a very beautiful one. On the ground floor there is a children's room, tables where you can play chess or backgammon. Ground floor - toilets. The second floor tables and a bar, a place where an entertainment event (foam party) took place. And on the third - a relax zone (mats on which you could lie down and sunbathe). The tour was from 10:00 to 16:00. We visited three bays, in one of the bays, you could go ashore for $ 8 per person, and visit the old city of Phaselis. In the bays it was possible to swim to your heart's content from the ship. Issued, if desired, life jackets, water sticks for swimming. After the sea, you could take a shower. There was also a free lunch on the ship (included in the price). Alcoholic drinks in the bar - beer 1 liter - $10.
On arrival there was a transfer to the hotel.
There are inexpensive shops in Kemer, one of them is a Bim store, one minus, there is no alcohol and cigarettes. It is located at the back of the LC walkiki store, just short of the city's main mosque. If you want to buy alcohol, go to "CarrefourSA". It is located next to the mosque. There, beer is 14-14.5 lira per liter ($ 3-3.5) - this is the lowest price in the city. In other stores, 18-23 lira (4-4.5 $).
The best option in stores is to pay with a card, it's more profitable. If you want shopping, take more money, because clothes and shoes are 3 times cheaper in Kemer. The cheapest shops are near the mosque, the BAZAR basement and the LC walkiki shop.
On Mondays, only once a week, near the Bim store, a food market comes, where you can buy whatever your heart desires - vegetables, fruits, cheese, fish, tea, etc. They also cook corn in large cauldrons there, the aroma is distributed to the whole market? ).
We read that you need to carry cigarettes with you for exchange, but I can tell you, do not repeat our mistakes. We bought one box of Chesterfield cigarettes for $12, but in Kemer they barely got rid of them for $15, it took 3 days. You can take vodka with you - Nemirov, Khortitsa - it’s even more realistic to sell more expensive than you bought in your homeland.
In general, if you want to relax with the whole family and save a lot, come to Kemer.
