In Turkey, and on a well-groomed sea, in principle, they were for the first time. Liked! The hotel did not disappoint, in some ways it was superior to other hotels, reviews of which we read, however, there were some shortcomings. I'll tell you in order:
BEACH and SEA on "5": clean, pebbles underfoot, biting fish (do not like sedentary tourists), no problems with sunbeds, friendly animators, the presence of drinks.
DRINKS on "3": this is a separate conversation. We are non-drinkers and the small selection of soft drinks just haunted us! Harmful Fanta, Sprite and Cola could be replaced with no less harmful, as we believe, artificial juice. By the way, they refused "juices" and drinking water on the very first day - they smelled terribly of bleach. And this is in the Restaurant, not on the beach! In general, of course, it was possible to drink bottled water, which was left every day in the bar of the room, but we were too lazy to carry it with us. Sometimes they "drank" watermelon.

FOOD and RESTAURANT on "4": the food was delicious, a lot. But. . .
1) during the week of rest several times we came across dishes that were not washed well enough!
2) those wishing to eat soup were often forced to "guard" the soup bowls: there were few of them, and the staff did not have time to wash the used ones
3) napkins stained by the first eaters, which "decorated" the tables, were not replaced during lunch, but simply turned over to the other side
4) crowded... large plastic chairs and often spaced tables. As a result, it was not possible to sit comfortably everywhere.
ACCOMMODATION "5-": the rooms are pleasant. The windows of our room overlooked the mountain and the road. It was nice and quiet. The maids cleaned the room regularly and even made all sorts of "things" out of towels. Finally, of course, we left them a pleasant surprise. But. . .
1) a flashing lamp in the bathroom, glue on the bedside table, two beds instead of one. The beds especially touched us as a married couple. At the reception, a very nice uncle explained that there are no such beds in the whole hotel and there are no doubles. We have reconciled. We were pleasantly pleased that a room with beds instead of a bed was allocated to us not in order to give a reason to "share" our savings with the reception.
2) The elevator sometimes didn't work. . . it's good that we didn't live very high.
ENTERTAINMENT on "5" (probably): we went to Turkey very tired, so we didn't use the opportunity to go to the disco and we can't say anything about it. Once we visited a children's disco - happy kids and enthusiastic animators did not leave us indifferent!
SPORTS on "5": went to the shooting range and to the gym (some of the simulators are broken, but not all), played table tennis, basketball (together), watched the game of water polo and aqua aerobics.

That's all, perhaps! In short. . . HOW you relax in Kaplan depends on your level of tolerance for minor flaws, dislike for compatriots (Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians in the hotel make up, in our opinion, 98% of vacationers) and if you refrain from drinking alcohol, your belief in the danger of fanta-sprite-cola.
