At the end of July 2009, my daughter and I had a chance to spend a few days in this amazing hotel. Before that, we had several vacations at Labada, when she was still in the Rixos chain. The hotel is now called the Barut Labada Hotel and this season the hotel has a new General Manager, Mr. Fatih, who was previously the Front Office Manager of this hotel.
Staying at the hotel was due to my work, but it is not related to the tourism and hotel business, so my review is a personal view of the hotel and does not set the task of advertising the hotel.
I will say right away that we have liked this hotel for a long time, since our first visit in 2002. The territory, although small, is well thought out and this has its own charm. The main building of the hotel is located right on the seashore in the form of a semicircle. The hotel rooms (179 in total) are spacious, beautiful and have sea or mountain views.

The room has one large bed (or two beds), comfortable furniture, a kettle (coffee, tea), a free mini-bar with standard daily filling, an electronic safe, a large bathroom with a set of shampoos, gels and creams, soaps

For each guest - slippers and bathrobes. WI-FI is available in the rooms with sea view and in the hotel lobby. The TV receives Russian and Ukrainian channels via satellite.
The sea is very clean, the beach is well maintained, a sufficient number of sun loungers with mattresses and sun umbrellas. There is a pier, specially equipped with a ladder for entering the sea and places for recreation.
The hotel has three swimming pools: the main one, located in the center of the hotel, the pool with water slides at the amphitheater and an indoor one in the basement of the main building. The water in them is moderately chlorinated, so you can swim without problems. The main pool has a children's paddling pool and a Jacuzzi section.
The main restaurant of the hotel "La Brasseri" operates on a buffet system, the range of snacks and hot dishes offered is quite diverse - I have not met hungry people. The products are always fresh and of high quality, the dishes are decorated beautifully with taste, the "evening soup" is an indispensable thing for those who like to eat at night.
There was always chicken, beef, lamb, fish - grilled mackerel and sea bream. Soups, as elsewhere in Turkey, are pureed, but rich and tasty. From fruits - oranges, watermelons, plums, melons.
The chef of the restaurant, m-r Tuncay, is often in the hall during lunch and dinner.

There are five bars on the territory of the hotel: Lobby-bar, Pool-bar, Snack-bar, Disco-bar and Coffee-shop. The lobby is very cozy, there is a "nimble" WI-FI, the service staff works just fine, your orders are completed in a few minutes. All drinks are of fairly high quality - vodka, gin, whiskey, martini, rum, tequila, wine, beer. Such a range and quality is not often seen in Turkey now.
In the lobby of the hotel there is a cafe-confectionery where you can order pastries, cakes, Turkish sweets and ice cream.

The pool bar has two counters, one for beach service and the other right at the pool. Bartenders Mustafa and Mumtaz prepare wonderful cocktails here: Margarita, B-52, Tequila Sunrise, Mojito. Try "Mojito" - they cook it perfectly!

The snack bar during lunch offers a large selection of pizzas, sandwiches, hamburgers and gozleme with various toppings.
Very pleasant and well-mannered managers of all areas of restaurants, bars and the hotel itself - friendly, welcoming and neatly dressed in branded clothes!
Three A'la Cart restaurants - seafood "ONIKS", Turkish "SINI", restaurant "AKDENIZ" operate on a pre-booking system.
The animation team, led by the charismatic Mr. Djema, hosts all kinds of games during the day on the beach and by the pool, and in the evening 4 days a week they present evening shows created by themselves.

On the remaining three days, invited groups demonstrate national dances, a fire show, and a circus on stage.
In a word, the hotel has all the necessary conditions for a full-fledged quality rest for guests from any country in the world. Here, no distinction is made between guests by nationality.
The Guest Relation service is excellent, especially Anna, to whom we are very grateful for her hospitality, goodwill, charming smile and willingness to help in any matter. It's nice to have such professionals working in this important service.
As a person who knows the hotels of Kemer and Belek well, I will say frankly that the hotel has changed for the better with the transition to the management of BARUT HOTELS and deservedly entered the World TOP-100 best hotels in the world!

This is the undoubted merit of the entire staff of the hotel and the new General Manager, m-r Fatih. His youth and rich work experience help him adequately run this fine hotel. This does not mean that the hotel has no minuses, everyone has different tastes and habits and they do not argue about tastes. For us, these disadvantages were so unprincipled that I do not mention them. In conclusion, I want to emphasize once again that I did not set myself the task of advertising LABADU, I just tried to convey my personal impressions of the hotel. And everyone has their own impressions, but personally we know for sure that we will definitely return to the hospitable and sunny "BARUT LABADU" more than once!
And for those who will go to rest in this hotel, I wish our impressions to coincide!
