I don’t know how it really was before, but this year we didn’t see such horror as in other reviews. I heard that the owner recently changed, maybe that's the case. So, we arrived at the hotel on 06/22/2019 at about 10 am, settled immediately, after 10-15 minutes they fed us breakfast. We were given a room on the 4th floor. This, of course, is a minus, since we were with a stroller. We asked to change the room to the 2nd floor, but we were offered only without a balcony. We refused as there would be nowhere to dry clothes. We decided to leave the stroller downstairs and resigned ourselves to the situation. But on the 4th floor, the most beautiful views of the mountains. The room is ordinary, made of bedside tables, a dressing table with a mirror, a wardrobe, beds. There was not enough refrigerator, as we often bought fruit. Looks like it's been recently refurbished. We didn't have any mold, dirt or stink. Day 4 was surprised that no one was cleaned and did not take out the trash. Asked, it turned out that cleaning on demand. Then we came up and asked about it. For those who like to be indignant - do not endure, come to the reception, ask and you will be cleaned as often as you would like.
A small drawback was interruptions with the air conditioner, it was not blowing at full power, which in the mode of +18, which at +24 degrees blew the same way, worked more like a fan, and turned off every 15-20 minutes. Some rooms also had the same nuances, and there were rooms where everything worked as expected. But there is hope that in the near future these points will be eliminated, as the hotel is undergoing active renovation. Many improvements were made during our stay. The hotel owner was often seen in the hotel, he controlled the maintenance of order in the hotel (I think a lot will change for the better).
In the courtyard there is a bar, a swimming pool for adults and children, two toilets, tables, sunbeds with umbrellas. The pool is clean, small (I personally saw how it was cleaned + disinfection tablets were poured every few days).

The hotel staff are great, they worked hard. Special thanks to the chef! The food was very tasty. There was a little lack of yogurt and fruits for breakfast (at least to feed a child), but they managed with cereals with milk or boiled eggs (they were given every 3-4 days) with vegetables and delicious bread. In coffee machines delicious coffee with milk. We are very accustomed to green olives for breakfast, there are not enough of them at home (although they were not eaten at all before). The rest of the food for breakfast is for an amateur and not for those who are used to eating very satisfying food in the morning. Since we don’t eat much at home for breakfast, a light snack was quite enough for us. For lunch and dinner, different salads, vegetable cuts, delicious fried eggplants, zucchini and peppers, mashed soups, one type of side dish and meat or soy with beans and potatoes (there was always something meat for dinner, fish was cooked every few days) . There were people who were always dissatisfied with the fact that they did not have enough meat and desserts. We talked with the guests of neighboring hotels, and so in many 3 and even 4 hotels they give meat once every 2-3 days, in the Melodi hotel they gave it 1-2 times a day. As desserts, we had melons or watermelons, for dinner every couple of days they gave some kind of cookies in syrup. Whoever lacks sweets, pay for 4-5 * hotels. Both we and the two-year-old child had enough food to eat deliciously.
Wi-Fi appeared towards the end of our stay (as I understood, we were the first guests of this season, on the first day we were the only guests of the hotel), it was free, but it caught only on the first floor.
The attitude of the staff towards the children was very good. Everyone played with our Tisha, carried them in their arms, smiled, making our rest a little easier : )
Twice we returned late from excursions, not having time for dinner. Once we asked, and they brought us food from the kitchen to the dining room. And the second time, our friends warned that we might be late, and they laid a table for us, which was waiting for our arrival. Much respect and thanks to the chef and waiters for their care!
The location of the hotel is also excellent. Not near the road (no traffic noise). To the sea and the main shopping street about 5 minutes at a leisurely pace. Walk 7 minutes to the nearest supermarket.
Next to the hotel there is a sweet shop "Just you wait" which sells delicious and fresh teas, spices and sweets. Unlike many other similar shops, the products here do not have time to stale and are not stored in the sun. You can always negotiate a discount. Before buying, we were given to try both teas and sweets and often treated our child. We bought delicious goat's milk delight and very juicy baklava for tea there.
Near it is the agency for the sale of excursions "Seker travel". Although everyone says that prices are the same everywhere, some excursions are still cheaper here. Good guides, comfortable buses, honest and friendly sellers of this agency (Aslan, one of them, told us where it is better to go, where it will be hot with a baby, and what it is better not to spend money on. And just like the staff of our hotel, they paid a lot attention to our Tisha, who immediately ran after breakfast to greet them, and always liked to spend time in the company of these cheerful guys before going to bed).
