I will never come here again

Written: 25 november 2009
Travel time: 17 june — 7 july 2009
We rested in the Champion from June 17 to July 7.
While I have a small child, I try to write with a focus on mothers with small children, so I give specific information (the presence of ramps, a blender, good rooms and a good playground).
Youth and those who rest without LITTLE children - this information is not needed (just ignore it) and stop annoying me with your nit-picking - like - what's not sitting at home? This is purely my opinion and I think that kids are better in the sun than sit in the snow and rain. Our academic doctor and she says that now, according to new research, it is necessary to take the child out before a year and a half so that he has strong immunity. We went to Egypt at 8 months, at 10 in the United Arab Emirates and now in 1 year and 2 months to Turkey. Everything is fine! He sleeps on the plane, there was never acclimatization. We go for 3-4 weeks (in case of acclimatization). I still breastfeed, we eat everything, because there is no allergy. Sorry for the retreat, but just tired of making excuses.

So. About the hotel. The hotel is very good if your child is not a baby and you don’t need to carry a stroller. Delicious food, green territory, only pine trees around, excellent service.
So, moms and their babies, this review is dedicated.
I chose the hotel myself, reading reviews, due to the presence of a large green area, good cottages and silence.
I was very disappointed with all this.
It would be great if, before writing a review, it was MANDATORY FOR EVERYONE-indicate-how many times a person rested abroad. Because otherwise you are constantly misled by reading the reviews of those who are satisfied with everything and write that everything is super. Then it turns out that people they always went to Soviet sanatoriums and for the first time abroad, so they generally like everything... There must be at least one comparison.
Now in order.
About the comparison and the territory. It’s not big, and even more so not huge. If you go for a walk to neighboring hotels (I highly recommend it, we went and walked, I really liked it! ) Then at least you will imagine WHAT IS GOOD and what a large territory is. essence, in order to dispel all doubts.
1) READ THE DESCRIPTION OF THE TERRITORY CAREFULLY!
At the entrance to the hotel there is a reception building with steps (there are no ramps for wheelchairs, a stroller, a suitcase cannot be lifted. Difficult. this alley, three more. Through 2 cottages (out of three, as you remember) - relax pool, on the left is a restaurant, (everything, it’s impossible to walk further with a stroller - there are tables and chairs at the bars - a lot of people - you can’t drive), on the right 7 -th building of the last cottage, 2 swimming pools and the sea. That's all. HOW CAN THIS BE A LARGE TERRITORY? WHERE TO WALK?

2) The restaurant is located on the second floor. This was written by many, BUT NO ONE WRITTEN THAT THERE IS NO RAMP or Elevator! The floor is very high. - there are a lot of steps, but you can’t wait for help from you, dear Russian men. Shame! Russia! The Germans helped. Themselves. Seeing how I was dragging the stroller with the baby. -drink faster for free... I saw how the old Germans barely got up, holding on to the railing.
3) Cottages. They are different. Again, I'm talking about ramps.
The 7th building is located closest to the pools and the restaurant. It is noisy for those who need silence because there is animation nearby, in addition, the animation of the neighboring hotel-Salim passes through the fence and it is very loud, 2 times louder than ours. I am not exaggerating . No ramps. Very high stairs.
1st building-there are ramps.
2nd building-there are ramps.
3rd building - there are no ramps, but you can enter from the side - you can enter with a stroller.
4th building-NO RAMPS!!!!!!!!!!
5th building-NO RAMPS!!!!!!!!!!
The 6th building is opposite the relaxation pool - NO RAMPS (but a wooden board is placed on the side for the staff - you can drive on it.
In my opinion, the best building is 6, you can drive in a wheelchair, the alley on the side is quite quiet - cars do not drive.
4) About cars. If you are given buildings 1.2 or 3, then at 5 in the morning and throughout the day you will listen to how large cars with food go to the restaurant, a garbage truck and cars of the hotel owner's guests (his house is located on the territory in front of 1 th building). The noise is terrible! Because the distance from the 1st building to the alley is only 1 meter.
The distance to the alley with cars from the 2nd and 3rd buildings is more than 7 meters! Which is a little quieter.
5) About rooms and balconies. All rooms are exactly the same, only some have 2-storey beds for children, or there is one bed in the room and a sofa, and there are 2 beds. The area of the rooms is all the same. The only difference is in the balconies- their size and area. The best balconies are those that overlook the garden. It is quiet there, a great view of the pine, pomegranate, lemon, apricot and orange trees. The balconies are large (3 meters long) - under the roof - or rather, they are not even balconies, and loggias.

The balconies that overlook the road are the same, only there are vacationers constantly walking past along the alley and this is very noisy.
The balconies that overlook the side alleys (remember, I wrote that there are 3 of them) are very small (one and a half meters in length) either behind a concrete wall and with a roof and tiles, or behind a wooden fence with a wooden floor and without a roof. When at the top wash your swimwear - all the water flows on your head.
6) Playground. HORROR! HORROR! HORROR! Everyone complained. Dirt has not been removed since the founding of the hotel. There is no grass, as usual in all hotels. questionnaires - which they distribute to everyone with a request to write advice on improvement - they will replace the coating - they will plant grass, add climbing slides, it will be fine. When it rained it was a terrible mess of stones and mud. Do you need to walk somewhere, but the territory is small, walk back and forth along the alley and breathe sewerage? . There is terrible dirt inside this hill because no one has ever cleaned it. There are also a couple of broken rocking chairs and a swing. EVERYTHING!! ! My advice to you is to go to neighboring hotels in Salima and Renaissance. Understand what a playground should be. In Salima, on the grass, 3 cool slides with various interesting climbing walls, ropes, rings. All complexes are different. Excellent mini club. For comparison I took a photo.
In the neighboring Renaissance, there is also a cool playground - even better than in Salime - there is grass and carpeting and a super house that is made on a tree. . There are also all sorts of climbing slides, swings, rocking chairs, a huge dry pool with many balls.
7) Beach. There are never free sunbeds. You have to borrow very early. At 9 am everything is already busy.

Entry into the sea without special shoes is impossible. Huge cobblestones. I knew this and bought slippers for corals in advance. There were no problems. there are no complaints because the sea is always beautiful. Slippers are sold everywhere. They cost $ 25 for children and $ 35 for adults, so I advise you to buy in your city or in Egypt. There they are $ 4-5.
8) Staff. Very polite, hospitable, attentive. Nobody begs for tips.
Ira is the main receptionist. Yulia and Olya are very nice girls, but they can’t solve the problem with settling in another room, they politely say that they would be happy to, but this is impossible. Ira-maybe.
9) Food. ABOVE ALL PRAISE! In the neighboring expensive fives there was not such a variety of meat. They didn’t have it at all - one soy sausage and soy cutlets, sometimes chicken, watermelons, melons and oranges. Everything. So the vacationers who were there told me when we walked there.
Every day we had: beef, lamb, turkey, chicken, liver, salmon, for spruce, haddock, some kind of sea fish, and also pitted fish in sauce and also pitted in batter.
Every day there were strawberries, cherries, apricots, peaches, melons, watermelons, plums of 3 varieties, apples of 3 varieties, nectarines, oranges and grapes of 2 types.
Ice cream is insanely delicious. I don’t really like it, but it was very tasty, eat as much as you want. In waffle cones - ice cream, chocolate and strawberry. Very fatty! Yummy!
Very tasty salads. I have never eaten, but here I could not refuse such a delicious Russian salad and salad with shrimp.
From greens - parsley, dill, 2 types of salad, tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers.
Everything is fresh, not withered.
Very tasty vegetables in batter, incomparable variety of casseroles in cream.
The chef constantly walks and is interested in the quality of food. He asks about the menu, what vacationers would like to taste.
In general, I can write about food as much as I like - I didn’t eat tastier and vacationers also unanimously said that the food here is excellent in taste and quality. The meat melted in my mouth. useful after all, but here she ate it for both cheeks.

There is a blender. Only it is in the restaurant itself, in the kitchen, but this is not a problem - put everything you want the baby to eat in a cup and give it to the blender. After 5 minutes everything is brought to you. Very convenient!
10) Pools. Clean. Clean every day with a hose. Slides 3. Work by the hour.
11) Animation. Due to the fact that there were many complaints that the hotel was boring, they hired a bunch of animators from Ukraine who don’t really entertain, but create a lot of noise. It’s a pity. party hotel. Moms and old people also need somewhere to relax. We are all people!
12) SEWER AND TERRIBLE STINK!
You can arrange these pleasures for yourself if they give you the 1st building, because there are 3 sewer hatches right under the window. The stench at an air temperature of + 48 degrees is not transmitted! We gave 90.000 rubles. for one with Peter (the baby is only 50 bucks, like an infant) and suffocated for 3 weeks until my nerves passed...
In the 2nd and 3rd buildings it also stinks, but less because they are further from the road. In 4.5, 6 and 7 there is no smell.
13) Shops. It is better to make purchases not in the market opposite the hotel (everything is very expensive there even with their discounts), but if you walk a little towards the Renaissance hotel. It is to the right of the Champion if you stand with your back to the Champion. There are very long rows of knitwear. The prices are ridiculous, the quality is good. I bought myself a long, chic terry dressing gown for only $ 20 (they sell for $ 40 on the market at a discount) (in St. very good (we have them for 1700 rubles), TAC bed linen costs $ 60-70. We have 6000 rubles. The cheapest prices for towels and bathrobes from the first seller (I compared everything). More expensive, but it is better to buy bed linen away - it says on the sign - a store from the factory. True, bathrobes are more expensive there. A children's terry bathrobe from a year old to 12 years old costs only $ 10. A towel in the corner is only $ 5, a towel with a hood - like a bathrobe - is worn like a poncho - too 10$.

14) Climate. For me and many others, it was very unsuitable and I was very upset that no one wrote this in the reviews. Since there are years, Kemer has very high humidity. Such humidity, as the locals themselves say, is only in Kemer. Add to this heat at +50 is simply unbearable - what kind of rest is there! The heat has been on the street since 8 in the morning, even at night there is no relief +35 at night - how do you like it? We have been since June 17 - it was always +48, +45, at night it was +35. Last week it rained. Imagine, it’s warm rain and HEAT!! ! In the hotel there are tiles everywhere on the street and it’s incredibly slippery. We were saved only by air conditioning. terrible heat, and the room is cold. It's bad that there is no ventilation, and if you open a window, door or balcony, the air conditioner automatically turns off.
15) There is no Internet and free WI-FI. There is no Internet at all. This is bad. There is an Internet cafe. Walk in the heat for half an hour. $ 2-hour.
16) Calls. The most profitable way is from a card or buy a SIM card in Euroset called simtravel. We bought it on the advice of friends and we travel with it all over the world - it is very convenient and the cheapest connection abroad. We talked with my husband every day without worrying.
Now personally about my holiday.
We arrived at 21:30. I asked for the 1st floor, explained that I was with a stroller and one with a child. I asked for a room in the 6th building with a view of the garden, to which Yulia, with a sweetest smile, said that there were no places there and sent to the 4th (where I had to carry stroller up the stairs because they even have a high first floor, you have to climb the stairs. At first I didn’t know this and we immediately went to dinner. We ate very well, came to the room. I saw all the charms of the stairs, a small balcony behind a concrete wall, but it was late and decided to spend the night. (In the future I will know that everything needs to be decided right away. It’s easier. Then I had to explain for a long time to the main (Ira) that I immediately said that I was not satisfied with the number. ) In general, I immediately called Yulia at the reception and she said that I had a ladder. She asked if they had ramps anywhere, she said no. it was at the reception desk and it turned out that they didn’t even know. They didn’t know where they had what they had.
We went for a walk with Ira and I showed her everything. She promised to help. a terrible stench from the sewer, where water from swimsuits flowed on our heads and there was a terrible roar from cars at 5 in the morning.
I didn’t know all this then and was glad that I didn’t have to carry a stroller.

So we lived for almost 2 weeks, and when once again the baby woke up at 5 in the morning from a roar - and I couldn’t rock him - my patience snapped. that upon arrival I will sue them, I will sue the cost of the tour and compensation for moral damage. Half an hour later they came to me and with a sweet smile settled us in the 6th building in which we lived with pleasure the remaining 4 days, in silence, enjoying the view pines. True, they were cunning here too, they gave us the most extreme room. It is SUCH the only one in the whole hotel. The smallest balcony overlooking the garden. wet and slippery. We didn’t have a window at all - there was only a balcony door. Room 607. But it was nonsense because there was no terrible sewer stench and it was quiet (relatively because the animation in Salima is so loud that it will wake up the dead - everyone said so vacationers. )
In general, one could get the feeling that everything was bad. On the one hand, yes, on the other, no matter how hot it was there, no matter how it stank, it was cold in St. Petersburg for 2 months, + 6, + 15 and rain almost every day. I wanted a piece summer.
I won't go there for the second time.
However, the service is at its best and it was nice because everyone wanted to sincerely help. They allowed me to come to lunch 5 minutes before closing without any problems, because the baby was sleeping during their lunch. He slept with me on the sea, in a stroller, near the water itself -under the sound of the surf, the waves doused with a breeze and this noise lulled you to sleep. Everyone said the aristocrat was sleeping.
They all love children very much and tried to help in everything - if one of the servants saw that I was dragging a stroller, they helped themselves, they allowed me to change beach towels not from 15 to 16 (as they have) but at any time.
In general, if you want an awesome table, like to lie on the beach, it doesn’t matter to you what room you have (the rooms themselves are good, cozy, everything works) - feel free to come here!
I wrote for mothers with babies and compared with neighboring hotels for clarity. The rest might like it there.
And I would go to Salima, it’s very beautiful there. An incomparable landscape. An excellent playground, a really huge territory, there is Internet and free WI-FI. I liked Salima more than the Renaissance. awesome, but Salima has a much prettier territory.
EPILOGUE. Dear, dear mothers! I wish you a great vacation. Don’t listen to anyone, go with your babies to relax! Whatever the hotel, the sea is wonderful! sleepless nights). Read carefully the reviews before the trip, paying attention to all the negativity in order to draw conclusions. There are hotels where everyone likes! (The same Arabella Azur in Egypt for example)

While the baby was sleeping, I wrote a review, and today I continued and uploaded a lot of photos to support my story with documents.
I will be very glad if my work on creating this review will help someone.
Good luck!
