We purposefully bought a tour to this hotel: that year we were offered a replacement (the initially chosen hotel did not confirm the reservation) and my husband and I really liked Boran Mare. Last year I wrote a review, I will not repeat, I will note what has changed.
1. The hotel excluded Turkish cuisine from the menu (the freshest Turkish delight, baklava and strong brewed Turkish tea do not count). When we rested, there were no Turks among the guests. Slavs and Germans equally.
2. The owner no longer lives on the territory, he visits in the mornings to swim in the sea and sometimes in the middle of the day he stopped by. This affected the friendliness of the staff, there was not that exceptional joyful goodwill. Just calm friendliness. Even Kyrgyz girls disappeared from the staff, only one remained at the reception. Turkish girls replaced them in the restaurant.

3. Drinks on the beach were poured into ordinary thin disposable plastic glasses, and not into dense travel glasses (also made of plastic). But last year's doses are generous.
Perhaps these are all changes. Everything else - as in that year, beautiful weather, warm sea, delicious cuisine, clean rooms, friendly staff, well-groomed green area, clean beach, unobtrusive interesting animation, Zinet recovered a little, Ksenia the manager too)))) Everything was wonderful, as in that year, even the cats are the same, rude!
Separately, I note that I was a little embarrassed by the "revolution" that began in Turkey during this period. On the day we were leaving, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry officially recommended that citizens "refrain". We didn't give a damn and didn't regret it for a second! Not only that, we specially went to Antalya on Meydan (Cumhuriyet Meidani) on our own to make sure that the media, as usual, exaggerate.
By the way, I advise everyone not to be afraid and to master public transport themselves: a minibus goes from Antalya to Kemer through Goynuk, stops near hotels, where they give up. To Kemer $4, to Antalya - $5. In Kemer, we walked around the center (reminiscent of Alushta) and along the embankment to the pier, it’s beautiful there; We went to Antalya twice. For the first time we went to the new Aquarium (near Minicity, ticket $29 per person, I HIGHLY recommend it! ), walked along the beach, climbed up to Maiden and in fact it was the beginning of the historical part of the city (Aladdin's mosque, tower, Hadrian's gate, old bazaar). The second time they didn’t really invent it: the minibus takes you to Migros (the largest mall 5K) and there we just bought. Things are branded and at normal prices (street handicraft trade in the village was not considered initially). There is also Starbucks in that Migros, it is not in Ukraine. And one more thing - I personally like Collins things, high-quality jeans. So - these Collins in Antalya are on every corner. I didn't even know it was a Turkish brand. Yes! Another across the road from Migros in Antalya is Luna Park. We also ran into it, the Ferris wheel is my weakness))))

Color: on Fridays in the village itself near the mosque there is a HUGE bazaar! Go, you won't regret it! Just soak in the color! The Germans and the French rowed everything there just with bags! Textiles, decorations. On the other side of the mosque is another food market. I personally was very curious. That year, the village struck me with an evening call to prayer from all sides (accidentally hit it that way), this year - with a Friday market.
Canyon! We rented bikes - $2 for one hour and went back to the canyon. Not along the highway, but through the village. Bicycles shortened the path very much, that year on foot and along the highway and then along the mouth of the river we walked 2.5 hours to the entrance to the National Park, this year we flew through the village on bikes in 15 minutes. Entrance to the park - $ 3, left the bikes at the entrance and continue on foot. About an hour before entering the canyon, equipment (wetsuit, helmet, vest and boots) - $12, filming - another $12. Despite the fact that there were that year, this time completely different but no less good impressions!
Again, sorry for a lot of text : )
As for Boran Mare, we will not go there next year. I have lost my fear of a foreign country (themselves, not from a travel agency, we were able to go to various interesting places, the average level of English is more than enough) and now I can master other areas. And I will return to Turkey when I have children. In Boran Mare, of course, this is a family-oriented hotel. Couples without children, like us, were almost non-existent. With children there is complete comfort.
