Phaselis Rose is our 13th five-star hotel on the Antalya coast. Despite the ominous serial number, we generally liked the hotel, although we have a number of serious comments about it.
Disadvantages
1. The extremely rude young receptionists did not respond in any way to our previous requests by e-mail to reserve the quietest room for us, and did not invite us to breakfast. And only the intervention of an elderly Turkish receptionist gave us the happiness of getting a completely decent and quiet - as far as this is possible in this hotel - room.
2. Until the penultimate day of our stay, the surprisingly large number of guests, for the end of October, did not create a feeling of overcrowding. But on October 24, there were EVEN more guests, and the hotel began to turn into a human hive. It is scary to imagine what is happening here at the end of August!
3. The quality and range of dishes in the main restaurant were extremely disappointing. Sandwiches with boiled sausage for a hotel of this level are a Turkish disgrace.
Advantages
1. A small, picturesque and very well-groomed green area with well-thought-out infrastructure.
2. A huge number of bars — with decent (partly imported) alcohol and grain coffee — and entertainment locations, for such a compact area.
3. Good animation and very good evening shows with the participation of guest artists.
4. Spacious beach (although the entrance to the water is rocky and difficult) and a well-equipped pier.
5. Decent spa complex with a large heated pool.
6. Modern rooms with tinted windows on the outside.
7. Very compact and cozy water park.
Perhaps this is the first hotel in our Turkish tourist biography that can be recommended to almost all categories of guests. Except that it is unlikely to suit lovers of exciting parties until the morning.
The paradox is that we came here for peace and relaxation, but the large number of people in the hotel until the penultimate day did not bother us at all. Perhaps the decisive factor was the successful location of the room with windows overlooking a small courtyard.
If you are not picky about food and want to live in a picturesque human hive, this hotel will suit you perfectly.
