To be honest, I come to rest in Turkey, and not look for cons, but what I encountered in Phaselis, this was not the case anywhere. And so in order. I'll start the description from the entrance
A beautiful entrance, the hotel is twilight, when you enter from the street, everything is beautiful. There are no questions to the receptionist. In the middle of a huge hall, the only normal bar in the whole hotel, though with a slightly wonderful bartender. In this bar, all drinks are the least diluted with water, this is especially noticeable in tomato juice and beer is almost not sour. There is also car rental. The Turk from the rental until he sees either the money or you don’t send it, he doesn’t understand Russian, as well as English, they say write on a piece of paper the time when you want to take the car, etc. But it’s worth the current to send him once and pretend that you are going to the street to rent a car, as right there he immediately begins to understand everything and the prices immediately drop.
Next is the dining room. There is absolutely nothing there. I have never been to breakfast, but here is lunch... Constantly all soups are mashed potatoes, and in the evening you could guess what soup will be tomorrow - if there are more tomatoes left, then the soup will be tomato. To eat at lunch, you had to do something like this: take soup in the dining room, eat it and go to the pool and choose something there, because. there was no more or less normal second in the dining room. For dinner, you could eat at least once a day. On the street stood 1 Turk and fried beef. Everyone, of course, stood in line for him. And the queue was 15-20 minutes long. There was nothing like that for lunch. There was also a late dinner, but it was just for show, because apart from soup, pasta and tea there was nothing there.

Now the numbers. The room seems to be tolerable, however, in order to change all the linen every day, it was necessary to leave $ 1, otherwise they simply wiped the floor and made the bed. The bar was replenished 1 time in 3-4 days.
The pool is ok. There was some kind of animation going on all the time. And nearby there is a bar where they serve Tequila hot from the heat in hot glasses (I first spat all this at the Turkish bartender, though I got used to it later). Everything is diluted in this bar.
There are no more full-fledged bars on this one. There is a bar on the beach, where beer and cola are poured in small glasses, with a work schedule from 10-00 to 18-00, but in fact after 17 hours the bartender was gone. The beach is ok, there were enough sun loungers. You can dive from the pier. Even sometimes they went and cleaned empty glasses!
There was also a disco at night, though it is not possible to be there, because from such a number of decibels of sound you can become just an idiot. The animation is generally ok. For comparison, was in this hotel last year (2006) everything was much better. My verdict is a hotel with a maximum of 4 stars and unreasonably high prices for holidays.
And yet, I saw a huge minus of our hotel while sitting on the bus on the way to the airport. We left the hotel at 3 am. Accordingly, we were not fed or watered with anything, and the people who rested in 4 stars were given some kind of set of food with them on the road. So phaselis on this point and 4 stars does not pull. I will gladly answer all questions. Email aleksey-ch dog mail dot ru
