I want to write a review about the Millennium Palace 4 * hotel, and so in general about the country.
Regarding holidays in this country, 4 * almost always = 3 *, and this is true about Millennium Palace. My husband and I had something to compare with, because we went on an excursion to Cappadocia and spent the night there at 4 * - a completely different level in a positive way.
I am not a picky client, so in general the Millennium Palace Hotel is normal.
What I liked: the pool (the slide is open from 11-12 hours and somewhere until 15-16 hours), friendly staff (not all, of course, but mostly).
Disadvantages:
1. Indeed, the cleaning of the rooms is not clear on what days and the plumbing is old (in our room it was in working condition).
2. Food is not always tasty, especially problems with salads with sour "fresh" cabbage and excessively dressed with mayonnaise; there is little meat, mostly soy and perepechornnoe not in moderation, apparently so that we, the tourists, do not get spoiled.

But provided that a kg of meat in Turkey costs 30 dollars, then we can assume that the feeding was more or less. You have to pay a lot of money for elite food. And, by the way, during excursions, food is included in the price, and all drinks are at your own expense: coffee and tea $ 2-3, water $ 1-2.
3. Internet - Wi-Fi does not work in the rooms, only in the lobby on the 1st floor, and then every other time, there were two days when no one could go to Skype or post pictures on social networks. This is basic.
As for the beach - yes, it is difficult to find it the first time, you have to go through the nooks and crannies, where it is clearly not written whose beach it is and there are not enough guide arrows. There is no bus to the beach. But the walk is not as far as they say - at most 10 minutes. And in the morning before breakfast, you can go to any beach to swim, no one controls. And there is also a wild beach, if it is not difficult to stomp your feet in the heat (well, this is me for those who prefer not to physically strain their muscles on vacation).
There is a problem in Turkey with prices - everything is EXPENSIVE! Before that, we were in Thailand, where you can buy a summer dress for almost 150 rubles.
In Turkey, they paid only in dollars, they did not change it for a tour. lira - they accept in all currencies: lira, dollars, euros, and in factories (textiles, gold, wine products, leather, etc. ) they also accept rubles, if not with them, they pay through a guide at the hotel, if the purchase is very expensive - in installment plan in Russia.
We tried to buy in local shops, because in factories, although there are 20% discounts for Russians, and sometimes you can bargain up to 50%, it’s still expensive by our standards.
If financial possibilities allow, buy tours in 5 * hotels. We spent the night in Pamukala at 5 * - the service is on the verge of fantasy, though we were there only one night: we had dinner and breakfast.

About duty free right away - do not leave money for it, spend everything in the country: shops on the streets and factories. At the airport, the prices are exorbitant and everything is sorted out. They mainly sell alcohol (which you can get much cheaper in Russia), perfume (the same song) and some seedy teas (black and apple, pomegranate ran out at the time we flew home), sweets are all with chemistry and for crazy money.
And one more thing for girls - be careful with Turkish merchants in souvenir shops, especially when you say that you are Russian and they want to "give" you a souvenir for beautiful eyes. Of course, not all Turks have sexual preoccupation, but there are instances.
