We rested at the Club Marco Polo Hotel from May 08.2011 to May 15.2011. We were more than satisfied with the hotel! A very beautiful area, which is constantly looked after and maintain this beauty. The staff, including the reception (someone wrote that he was rude, maybe you just need to talk politely to people, then they will also treat you), polite, attentive, everyone does their job at the proper level. We got a magnificent room: on the second floor, a two-story room for four with a view of the main restaurant and the sea, although the double standard was paid. And we didn't pay anyone anything. I really had to wait about two hours, because they brought us to the hotel at 12.00, and check-in from 14.00. , and there was a large group of people who arrived. It is also necessary to take into account the peculiarities of the “Soviet mentality”, which began to dictate the conditions that it was necessary to settle me next to Vasya, Petya and Manya. But in reality there were rooms, but just not through the wall - that's the problem !!! ! While waiting for your number, they said that you can already freely walk around the territory, they offered to go for lunch. We came from lunch and they already gave us the key to the room. The room was cleaned every day, and without any tips. And who does not want to be disturbed in the room during the day, there is a special sign for this! The food in the restaurant is excellent and the choice is huge, you can’t try everything, there was even a separate table with diet food. But there is no pork there, people - this is a Muslim country!! ! But chicken, and turkey, and fish, and seafood (squid, mussels), cheeses are very tasty. Baking is another matter! Animators unobtrusive - if you do not want to participate, no one forces. In the evenings there was a disco with live music. One evening there was a "Turkish night" - a performance with a national flavor + a fair of Turkish goods (tents were placed on the main alley where you could buy silver, sweets, spices, shawls, leather... ). Very interesting, but we returned late from the excursion that day, so not all the events were caught. Special thanks to our hotel guide Daniyal, who gave us all the necessary information, especially on excursions (where to go, what to take with you). I liked the Demre-Mira-Kekova tour very much, we had a wonderful guide Bedri with us - an expert in his field !! ! Our holiday was just amazing! I want to note about the weather (the first time I was in Turkey during this period): the sea is still cool (+18), but the main thing is to dare to go into it, and then you get used to it and don’t want to climb out of the water. And the water is pure! The beach is pebbly, closer to the sea there are small pebbles, and from the sun lounger until you get to the sea, it hurts a little on your feet, you can endure it, but it is better to buy special shoes. During the first days of our stay it was fresh in the evenings and cool in the morning, but in the end it was already warm in the evening. But during the day there was still unbearable heat. Once there was a strong thunderstorm. Just after it, we went on an excursion early in the morning, so the staff at five o'clock in the morning wiped puddles everywhere, especially in the hall, everyone flocked with mops, because it was open, but it was pouring thoroughly. We would wait for the puddles to dry on their own, or until someone slipped on wet tiles. So for those who chose this hotel for themselves, go, you won't regret it. . And do not listen to those who write bad reviews, probably, people just have a hobby to look for flaws everywhere, even Rixos would not suit them. For those who wrote about the crazy money spent on a ticket, I don’t think that $ 1.100 for two for a week is a crazy price, in the Crimea you won’t rest for that kind of money. The hotel is suitable for both young people and families with children (very good children's animation, the kids were delighted). So I wish you all a wonderful stay at the Marco Polo Hotel!! !
