Good afternoon everyone!
After my stay at the Club Marco Polo 5 * I want to share my impressions with you. We rested with my wife and a small child of 1.5 years in this hotel from 06/19/12 to 06/28/12
I'll start, perhaps, with the fact that we are in Turkey for the first time and decided to go to Kemer, as we were told that the places there are beautiful. The place really turned out to be beautiful, on the one hand the sea, on the other wonderful mountains, but the climate is terrible. Crazy air humidity and temperature in June from 42-47 every day just kills.
Arriving at the hotel, they settled us without any problems, giving $ 50 they showed us a map of the hotel and we chose a house from the options offered, we needed a quiet room close to everything that was happening, but also so that there was no noise so that the baby could sleep peacefully.

If you think that everyone will immediately rush to take your luggage, this is not so. It will be necessary several times to insist on someone being called and taking you and your things in an electric car.
The room was quite decent, new furniture, fresh renovation. True, there is one drawback, the air conditioner does not work well (creates a fan effect) and the smell from the system is not very pleasant. After talking with other guests, I realized that such a problem is everywhere, regardless of the place or house.
The territory is large, well-groomed and quite clean. The beach is just as good, although sometimes you come across garbage, which the vacationers themselves leave (after all, it is very difficult to throw a cigarette butt into the trash can).
Regarding the animation, everything is also fine, they are constantly doing something and trying to amuse the people, however, this was of little interest to me. In the evening, after dinner, a children's disco lasting 30 minutes, after which your baby will sleep better. Then there is entertainment for adults. There is a night club, open from 24.00 to 3.00 hours. What is there, I will not say, I have never been.
Now information for parents who go on vacation with small children.
1. For children over 3 years old there is a whole complex and a team of animators, they can devote the whole day to your child.
2. There is a children's club and a children's kitchen in it, where there are always 3-4 dishes that you can feed a child, egurts, bananas and all that, of course, is present.
3. There is always a highchair in the restaurant, although they are a bit dirty.
4. I warn you that it is better not to bathe your baby in the main children's pool. the water in it is very warm and dirty, of course, this is invisible to the eye, but believe me, our baby caught an infection there and had a temperature for 3 days. All this was accompanied by a large rash on the body. It is better to dip a child in the sea or in an adult pool.

5. There is also no sensible doctor in the hotel, there is a so-called “narrow profile specialist”, having gone to which with something more serious than a headache, he will immediately take an interest in the availability of insurance and send you to the hospital, where you will spend the whole day at best, that you have examined and have told or said what or the diagnosis.
I will also say that the hotel does not answer five stars in terms of service. Upon arrival, our room was not cleaned for two days. I went to the reception and asked what was the matter, after that they began to clean every day. I don't need to change bedding or towels every day, but wet cleaning needs to be done.
I saw how a woman brought a towel for the legs that lies on the floor in the shower, so it was just black, I think that they didn’t come to them for 3-4 days to clean up.
It was also very outrageous that, sitting in a restaurant on a summer terrace, boys walk around and remove plates from the tables without taking them away, but pull a cart with two brews behind them, and what was not eaten by people at the next table, they begin to drop into these bins in front of you. You immediately feel like you are in the most terrible Soviet canteen.
Many Turkish families rest in the hotel, and first of all, attention will be paid to them. Whether it's a bar or just a queue for a watermelon, it doesn't matter.
AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING! There are a lot of Russians in the hotel, 80% Russian and 20% Turkish families.
So "our people" are very fond of taking sunbeds near the pool and on the beach. The hours will pass at 6-7, they put towels on the sunbeds and everything is fine with them, the most annoying thing is that they just put them on and don’t even come. At the same time it is difficult to be near the pool and on the beach. Leaving for lunch, or sleep during the day, towels are not taken away. So having passed on the first day, we simply had nowhere to stay, not on the beach, not near the pool. And the most important thing is that this will never stop. every newcomer begins to do the same. This is probably what annoyed me the most.
In the end, I will say that the hotel is beautiful, a good pebble beach with clean water, but as always there are comments, they are not critical, but these little things spoil your mood a little.
