First of all, I want to say that Turkey is so beautiful, rich in history, historical places, overgrown with myths and legends, a country that you just need to go there and... no matter which hotel : )
Well, now about the rest in Villa Diana. We rested from September 3-13.2008. We chose this hotel on the advice of the tour operator as the most optimal price-quality ratio on the basis that we will spend most of the time on excursions. We were told that these are the best 3 * in this region. In principle, we did not expect something chic from this hotel. Therefore, we were surprised to get into a very beautiful reception and see a really large and green area for 3 *. Last year I rested in 4 *, so there was a smaller area : )). The buildings are very beautiful architectural structures. They say that initially the owner of all this beauty was an Arab and planned 5 * there, but then he married a young lady from the former USSR and left, and the new owner decided that 5 * would not be profitable for him and made 3 *. This explains the presence of a large territory : )). If the rooms are renovated, then the price will not be for this hotel.
In general, they arrived, invested $ 20 in the passport in advance (there were 4 of us, i. e. 2 couples), and with a request to give a good room, we got rooms in building A on the 3rd floor. Our friends were more fortunate, they immediately liked the room, the only negative they had (as it turned out at night) was loud music from the disco. And we went into a room covered in mold. After the scandal and requests to change our room to building C, we were told that building C was all occupied by Russians (we were unfortunately from Moldova), and even offered $100!! ! didn't help. We were given a couple of keys to the A room, and we were already choosing from what we could.

The view from the window of our room was awesome - to the mountains. It was the only plus!
There was no curtain in the bathroom, the sewer was clogged, towels were changed 1 time in 10 days (and we left $ 1 each for the first 4 days), the bed was not changed at all. Repeatedly we approached the reception and asked to give us a curtain and clean the sewer, but nothing has changed. So money isn't always everything : (
As for the food: it is ENOUGH and it is quite VARIOUS! It’s just that our compatriots are always hungry, they arrange nightmarish queues, as if they don’t have enough. It's even a shame that our brother is immediately visible. Hot is constantly updated, there is nothing to crowd, there is enough for everyone. We usually waited 30 minutes for this queue to resolve and calmly approached and took what we needed.
The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful.
Good Turkish bath on site.
And of course the sea, the sun - this is understandably super! As for the beach - yes, it's really dirty, there is no bar on the beach, there are vending machines with UPI juice and that's it. There is only one trash can. The beds and mattresses are a real problem. A lot of sunbeds are broken and the number of sunbeds does not match the number of mattresses, the latter are much smaller. There are few sunbeds, not enough for everyone. But we have not experienced this problem. You get up for breakfast, have breakfast and immediately go to the beach - and choose for yourself both a sunbed and whatever mattress you want : )) So choose: either sleep enough or bask on the beach on a sunbed with a mattress : ))
Of course, if you stay only in this hotel, then there will be more negative than positive.

Special THANKS to Tez Tour and guide Ismail, with whom we traveled to Ephesus-Pamukkale. A chic excursion, there really is something to see - a sea of u200bu200bpositive and positive emotions. Tahtali is also something. To visit one of the Olympus at an altitude of 2365 m is worth it. I highly recommend an excursion to Cappadocia and Istanbul - you will not regret a single dollar spent.
Once again about the hotel - a person is such a creature that over time he gets used to everything, and after a few days we stopped noticing flaws, especially since almost all 3 * in this region are the same. If you really want comfort, then go to Paloma Belidibi 4 * right in front of Villa Diana. Really very nice hotel there in
mostly only foreigners (this is already saying something) and the price is reasonable. Well, if you are very picky, then go to Sun Gate 5 * in Beldibi or Queen Elisabeth in Genek - these are some of the best hotels, well, they cost accordingly...
Have a nice rest!
