Traveled with wife, no kids. September 2012. I really liked the hotel. Liked literally everything. The hotel has created a very favorable atmosphere for a good, I would even say fabulous, rest.
I liked the food very much, the meat was mostly chicken, but there was also beef. Fish every day. Variety of snacks and cheeses. Lots of vegetable dishes. In general, the menu is very extensive, for a variety of tastes. Something I thought was delicious, something I didn’t appreciate. But, in general, everything was on the level.
By the way, I read somewhere a negative review about the food of this hotel, something, in the spirit, came to a sea country, food was chicken and sausages, but I wanted mussels and shrimp. People, be realistic.

To the beach - walk for 5-6 minutes, although we walked slowly, as it is very beautiful around, palm trees, neatly trimmed lawns. And when you return from the beach to the hotel, the landscape is generally gorgeous: an alley with pines and palm trees, and mountains in the background. Very beautiful. We were even glad that we had to go to the beach, such a pleasant walk turns out.
The hotel area is small but very cozy. Huge bizarre swimming pool. The windows of the room overlooked the pool. They say that it is difficult to fall asleep noisily at night, they rob the territory. I didn't notice it. Yes, it happens, sometimes they rattle something. But it doesn't stress. The disco until 24.00 and the animation during the day didn’t bother either, since we didn’t come to sleep, but to relax and have fun, so when it was noisy on the territory, we were just in the center of this noise (participated in competitions, danced).
I also liked the room, clean and comfortable. Plasma TV. In fact, I never turned it on. View of the pool and the mountains, you can sit on the balcony for 10-15 minutes and admire without stopping. From the pool, the sound of pouring water, like from a small waterfall, is very lulling at night.
Sauna - free of charge. After swimming all day in the sea, it is very pleasant to warm up and then swim in the cool pool. And then for dinner, an evening animation show and a disco in Kemer.
Animation team 2012. It's just super. The guys put on such evening shows, what kind of money would I even go to see. They dance great. Particularly impressive was the Ghost show, based on the Michael Jackson film of the same name. It's very cool to go to a club in Kemer with the guys.
In general, I'm already tired of writing pluses. I repeat - the most important thing in Eldar is the atmosphere. All seven days of rest there was an extremely good pleasant mood, although this rarely happens to me. After returning home, it was even sad. My wife and I watched videos on youtube with dances of the animation team, we were sad for Eldar.

Well, you still need to decide what is the criterion for a good rest and the basic conditions for you. Of course, for those who like to sleep during the day or after 23.00, rooms overlooking the pool or the neighboring hotel are not suitable, it is noisy there. And for those who love gourmet - refined cuisine, lobsters there, etc. This hotel is not suitable at all.
Oh, and about the downsides. Still, there is one. As already mentioned in other reviews - these are sewage treatment plants behind the fence. I think so, the hotel was designed according to the wind rose, and I rarely felt the smell from these treatment facilities. There were a couple of evenings when a breeze blew from the other side and smelled. The smell is not to say that it is pleasant, something like mud and swamp. Particularly sensitive, I think it will bring a lot of discomfort, I did not bother with this. Well, it smelled a couple of times. Another thing if it smelled constantly. In the room, let's say I didn't feel any smell at all. It is felt when you approach the hotel from the beach, some even joke from vacationers: “Oh, I smell the Eldar Resort”. But for someone, this smell caused problems, I have not heard.
