An average 4-star hotel, with a small area, bad location, monotonous, budget food and very average service.

I rarely write reviews, but I cannot remain silent here: the high rating and rave reviews on this site are very different from our real impressions of this hotel.

We were traveling in a company - 2 families: 4 adults and 7 children (from 2 to 19 years old). We rest not for the first time, we have seen many hotels in different countries, there is something to compare with.

We chose the hotel based on reviews, including from this site.
We were looking for a quiet family vacation: green area, fresh air, good food with a children's menu, free Wi-Fi was also important (needed for work). We hoped for a kids club where children would have fun and interesting. And we can relax a bit, forget about the clock and the schedule, just enjoy the sea and the sun.

As a result, on almost all counts, we were disappointed. The hotel is very noisy and not suitable for children.

The territory is small, there is nowhere to walk, and if the wind is from the wrong side, then in the evening it smells not of pine trees, but of sewage. The food is very monotonous and budget. There really is no children's menu. As well as full-fledged children's animation. Wifi is very slow and only works in the lobby. Relaxing and forgetting about time is also unrealistic: for example, a window of only 1.5 hours is allocated for lunch. And if you did not come to the dining room at exactly 12.30, then after 15 minutes there are no more empty seats, stand in line. If you want to try the grill, stand in line. I came in the morning to take towels to the beach - wait half an hour, they have not been washed yet. Came to the room after dinner - it has not been cleaned yet, your turn has not come yet. “We have a lot of tourists, cleaning until 5pm. ” And it is useless to explain that we have a small child, that he sleeps during the day, and requests to clean from 8 to 14, and money left on the nightstand, and complaints to the administrator - do not change anything. About a day later, our room remained uncleaned.
Settlement
Since we arrived in a large group, we initially decided to put the children in a separate room, next to their parents. We discussed this issue with the Agency in advance and clearly indicated in the Contract: three rooms together, adjacent rooms. In fact, when we arrived, we were given three rooms on different floors. “We can’t do anything, there are no other places. ” We have been solving this issue for more than an hour, but the maximum that we have achieved is three rooms on the same floor, but not next to each other, but at different ends of the corridor. With a view of the household courtyard and disco of the neighboring hotel.

Location and territory
We deliberately chose a hotel in the Kemer area to admire the mountains and pine trees. Here we were not mistaken, next to the hotel there is a small forest and beautiful mountains. But there is also an aeration station, from which a bright smell comes in the evenings.

The territory of the hotel is neat, but very small, really - the smallest of all the hotels where we rested.
In the evening there is nowhere to take a walk: either sit in your room, or at the bar, or wind circles around the pool. + Right next to this hotel is the super-budget hotel Belvita, whose daily disco until 12 at night with Russian pop hits, such as “Mom Lyuba - come on” and “Oh my God, what a man” - I will dream for a long time. A child who falls asleep at home in 10 minutes had to be put to bed for an hour or more.

Hotel

The hotel is newly built, the rooms are fresh, air conditioners and TVs in the room work fine. This is a plus. Although the bathroom already has fungus and the carpets and furniture are full of stains. The rooms are not very big. If you add two folding children's beds to a standard room, there is practically no space left. And someone will blow air conditioning. There are very uncomfortable shelves in the closet - about 20 cm deep, you can’t really put anything. Only one card is given per room. When there are 4 people in the room, it is very inconvenient.
All the time you need to walk and negotiate who else is walking and who is going to the room. We went, asked for a duplicate - without results. I had to go to the trick - at 12 at night I went down to the reception, said that everyone was sleeping in the room, and I could not get to my room. Asked for a temporary card to open the room. The card was asked to be returned immediately, but we kept it for ourselves. I don't understand why such simple things need to be begged for.

Beach
The hotel is located on the second line, 400 meters to the beach, you need to cross the road. By the way, in Turkey it is not customary to let pedestrians through, be careful. For an adult, this route is not a problem, but for small children it is hard, especially to go from the beach when the sun is hot at noon and the asphalt is hot. Better in a summer stroller or carried in your arms.
The beach itself is not bad, there are sun loungers, awnings, paths, showers. But if you come not at 8-9 in the morning, but later, there are no more places in the shade, and lying in such heat in the sun is harmful for children.
So I had to get up early.

The sea is warm and clean. Although some rubbish washed up for a couple of days and even dark oily spots floated, possibly from boats that sail along the beach all the time, but in general, I repeat, the warm Mediterranean Sea is the most pleasant part of the holiday.

Nutrition

There is a choice, you won't go hungry. But the menu is very budget and monotonous. And most of the dishes are frankly not tasty. After 2 days, you remember the entire assortment as a keepsake, and after a week you start to miss not only homemade food, but also the office canteen. Every time we travel abroad we bring new recipes and interesting dishes. And this time there is nothing to remember. Daily rice and pasta, tasteless chicken and cucumber and tomato. You can’t even spread butter on a bun, because instead of butter, they give you only a spread that tastes like cheap margarine. A couple of times there was fish on the grill - so it was just a holiday.
We thought we’d break away at least on desserts - and then an ambush. Of the 20 desserts, 15 have the same, indistinct taste. Even the traditional baklava or Turkish delight, which are many dozens of types in the Istanbul bazaar, is not offered here.
Instead of juices - sugary diluted powder, from fruits - only watermelon, melon and oranges with apples. I don’t ask for pineapples or strawberries, which, by the way, are harvested 4 times a year in Turkey, but so that there are no peaches, no grapes, or at least pears or plums in season ...As a result, we bought all this in shops near hotel - and fruits, and juices, normal tea, chocolate and sweets for children, etc.

In addition to the monotonous assortment and insipid taste, there is another problem: cats roam in the dining room and are full of flies. At first, the child was even afraid to eat, she grew up in the city, there are nets on the windows, she is not used to the fact that every minute a fly lands on her hand or head. By the second day, most had a stomach ache.
In the first week, we used up more than half of all Smecta and activated charcoal supplies. And this despite the fact that they did not eat anything fried, fatty and no alcohol. As a result, we excluded from the menu all pseudo-juices and drinks in the dining room, sauces, salads, ice cream and cakes. There was rice, pasta, cucumber-tomatoes and lean meat or fish. The situation got better, but there were still not enough stocks of medicines until the end of the holiday.

We haven't had this for a long time. In the spring we rested in Egypt, by the way, also in a 4-star hotel - so there we never needed medicines at all. And the menu every day was varied: today Mediterranean dishes and different fish, tomorrow Italian cuisine, then a barbecue day, etc. Before that, they were in Bulgaria, Croatia and Montenegro. Lived in private hotels, 3 *. We ate every day in a new cafe, ordered new dishes every day, but not once did anyone have a stomach ache.

The children's menu deserves special attention: there is a table in the corner, there are tomatoes and cucumbers from the common table + french fries and some overcooked chicken pieces, deep-fried. In a normal child, after a week of such a “children's menu”, acute inflammation of the pancreas will begin.

Animation
Here, too, we were disappointed. First, the schedule. In the morning we go to the sea. Then - lunch. Then the children have a little rest, and now from 4 to 7 in the evening it would be just right to keep them busy: drawing, dancing, outdoor games, etc. But just at 4 o'clock the kids club finishes work. Second, the program itself. A couple of times we changed the schedule so that the children went to the club. Both times they returned half an hour later, they said that they were not interested there, the games were stupid, and the animator was rude. As a result, the children organized their own circles with drawing, games in the pool, etc. Fortunately, there were many peers who quickly found someone to play with.
Overall: we had a rest, in general, normally. For the generation that grew up in pioneer camps, renting chicken coops in Skadovsk and plywood houses on the Sea of Azov for the summer, it is difficult to spoil a vacation at sea with such trifles as a nightly disco under the windows, dubious food or poor service. Moreover, the sea was warm and the weather was sunny. But this hotel is not worth the money spent. In Kemer, most likely, we will come again, but we will definitely not return to this hotel. And will not recommend to friends.

Finally, a few words about Anex Tour.

Met - normal, no questions.
There was a cheerful girl, she entertained us with tales about Turkey and local customs all the way, they took us to the hotel, they told us to register the voucher and come tomorrow to meet the guide, after which we immediately left. We settled and solved our problems on our own (see above).

The next day we, as pioneers, came to meet the guide.

And although we planned to swim and sunbathe on the beach from 8 o'clock, we waited until 9.30 for our guide Zulfiya to come. I gave her our vouchers and delicately asked her to register them and, if possible, shorten the introductory briefing, because we are not the first time in Turkey, we are not going on excursions, and the children have been waiting in the lobby for an hour, waiting for us to go to sea. But my simple request, for some reason, deeply offended Zulfiya, she said that since we are so smart, she might not register us at all and not tell us anything, and if the flight is postponed or someone gets sick, it will be our problems. As a result, it took 40 minutes to fill out questionnaires and listen to the most valuable information about the difference between the Russian insurance form and the Ukrainian one, and what wonderful excursions we can visit with Anex Tour. Fortunately, our acquaintance ended there.

Way back. The flight was at 11.00, we were picked up from the hotel at 6.30 in the morning, i. e. 4.5 hours.
Despite the fact that it’s really an hour and a tail to go. At first I could not understand - why so early? What do we have an extra hour to do at the airport? I had to wake up the children at 5.30 in the morning, sleepy and hungry, load them onto the bus. They gave us cheap yuppies in bags and an inedible sandwich with us. They threw them out along the way. Fortunately, we stocked up on water and food at the store in advance. It happens that delays with the transfer are associated with the delay of the tourists themselves. But this time, everyone was collected and operational. And then Anex decided to put an end to the rest: when the bus collected all the tourists from the hotels, about 25 people, they announced to us that there was an overlay, the route was changed for this bus, we need to get off and unload all the luggage, someone else will come for us later . So we lost 40 minutes waiting to be picked up. Then for another 20 minutes we were taken to a souvenir shop, like on the way. So "imperceptibly" an extra hour ran by.
Total: transfer organization "-", guide services "-", room reservation "-", Anex Tour services - C grade with a minus.
