We rested at the Elit Life Hotel with a family: husband, wife and two children (6 years old and 3 years old) from June 19 to June 26.2018, 7 nights.
We are from the south of Ukraine, from Nikolaev. This tour cost us $800 for everyone. It was a good price, we read the reviews, looked at other hotels at this price, decided that this one was the best and flew to rest.
I must say right away that rich tourists do not come to triplets and fours. Non-first line hotels are a budget vacation for middle-class people who do not have extra money.
We rested, and the owner of the hotel was always in the hotel, especially at lunch and dinner. The owner of the hotel gave a ride to the bazaar in his minibus for free, thanks to him for that. On the way, he said that the plan was to renovate the hotel this winter. So, there are weaknesses in the hotel, namely:
1. At the entrance there is a very outdated “tropical waterfall” installation. It needs to be removed urgently.

2. Zone of children's animation and evening shows. In the amphitheater it is necessary to install wooden seats at all levels. There is this concrete, summer, dust. Both children and parents are forced to sit down on bare cement, it is dirty, it is unpleasant, then the children's shorts are gray. Installing several wooden slats around the perimeter, equipping benches in this way, painting these slats white or varnishing - this hotel will not ruin at all. On the other hand, the animation zone can be cleaned, prepared for the evening show, it will not be scary to let children on such benches. And so - unfinished.
3. There is NO Gym! ! At all! On the other hand, in the lobby of the first floor there are well-lit rooms with empty huge billiard tables of no interest to anyone. For 7 days no one has ever played billiards! The question is - what for is this rubbish there? It is necessary to remove all billiard tables, and equip a minimal gym instead of a billiard room. Put cover. Put dumbbell rows: male and female. Cardio zone: one Orbitrek and one treadmill, no more needed there. There are 2 blank walls - mirrors on them. Put 1 bench, HyperExtension, Deadlift Rack, put a couple of vultures: Olympic and smaller, and a minimum set of pancakes. Everything! 2 billiard tables probably cost more than all this. Any person in such a room with such a set of equipment will always be able to organize a workout for an hour and a half. During the day, the heat is incredible, and it is unbearable to be at the sea and by the pool. Training in the Hall will save a lot of people. Gym Very Needed by this Hotel!
4. Carpeting in corridors and rooms - throw away. Lay laminate or tile, something that is easy to clean. Light carpet is a collector of previous events, a receptacle for stains and the birthplace of small debris. Sad spectacle.
5. Dining room - everything is fine.
Guys, we ate in the dining room better than we eat at home. And all of you who write here that there was nothing to eat, you also eat worse at home than in this canteen. And you don’t have to come on vacation to get 5 extra pounds in a week! Throwing them away is expensive.
Alcohol, haven't tried it. We do not use. And do not recommend to others.
6. Rooms - except for the carpet, everything is fine.
7. Receptionist and administrator Islam - everything is fine. Islam speaks Russian and is always ready to help, competent, professional, thank you.

I want to say, when we checked in, we asked for a room higher and overlooking the pool, Islam smiled, took the key, and asked to follow him, he said - you will like it. Brought to room 120, overlooking the pool and yes, we liked it. No surcharges.
So, on the toilet, the lid was attached to one bolt - we replaced the lid, the bulb burned out - they put a new one. They gave a cot with a mattress for a small one, there is nowhere to go in the room. We asked for a baby cot. There are two of these in the hotel, both were occupied. So, especially for our daughter, the owner went and bought a new crib. They brought it to our room new, and unpacked it in front of us. They gave me a small baby blanket. So, thank you very much. We saw a good attitude towards hotel guests.
8. The lobby area is small, and the furniture there is bulky, cramped, few people can sit there.
9. Swimming pool and children's play area - all good. There are few sunbeds, but, surprisingly, there are enough for everyone. There are 21 sunbeds for the whole pool. There, if desired, you can easily put a dozen sunbeds. It should probably be more fun.
A note to vacationers, people take their towels by the pool deck chairs, which they may not use at all for the whole day. It's not beautiful. If you take sunbeds "just in case", take one sunbed, not three, please. There are only 21 of them.
10. The beach is a mess! With the beach, the hotel management did not finalize. They need a hotel worker who will constantly keep order. There is our zone, yes, it is small, but it exists, and we need to ensure order in this zone, and not in the way it is now. We had to run at 6 in the morning, take sunbeds, otherwise there would be none later. There is a beach for several hotels not on the first line. Therefore, it is necessary to inspect the sunbed, all sunbeds are signed. And if we are staying at the Elit Life Hotel, then there is no need to borrow Mom’s Hotel sunbeds! Understandably? And me, not so much.
It is necessary to install a cooler with drinking water on the beach, I can’t, I don’t want to, but people, especially children, need drinking water!

Then, a separate bewilderment about the line of sun loungers with small umbrellas right along the water's edge. This is, in general, what is it? If we rest on the beach of our hotel, then it is the beach, and the beach of our hotel is also to the water! And there such an energetic uncle, a Turk, runs around, drags nearby sunbeds to the water, brings these small umbrellas, leads her vacationers from some remote hotel by the handles. Brings them drinks on a tray. In general, in every possible way we cater to our vacationers who occupy our territory. And it is inconvenient for Elit Life Hotel vacationers to approach the water, they have to bypass these sunbeds, there is often no passage between them. Our daughter is small, she was not yet 3 years old during her vacation, her legs were injured by pebbles near the water, she cried, she did not want to go into the water. I couldn’t do educational work with my daughter, overcome her fear, bring her to the water, demonstrate that the stones are not scary, because all this bunch of incomprehensible-someone-and-uncles shushed us, made comments to me, and asked to remove crying child. Guys, who are you? To me personally, these seals and their uncle were Very Interfering!
Request to the hotel management: put things in order on the beach! Provide your guests with normal conditions for relaxing near the water, please!
11. Music by the pool. Let her be a little quieter, please.
12. Cleaning of rooms, and in the hotel. Cleaning is bad. The management makes no demands on the cleaners, or pays them very little. There are toilets near the pool - cleaning every hour is necessary there, it is not even close. The sink is always clogged, there is often no light, and the cubicles are dirty. A company sat by the pool at night, spilled something dark, at 10 o'clock in the morning we go to the beach, look out the window - this dried puddle has not been removed. The canteen starts at seven, the boys go there, prepare for breakfast - well, take a hose, go down to the pool, wash the tiles, it's a matter of minutes. But, no, Elit Life doesn't like to clean up. Three cleaners walk around the hotel, you can see them until 4 o’clock every day, they do something, block the narrow passage in the corridors with their cart, leave a vacuum cleaner in the middle of the corridor, like “there is self-service, who needs it - take it and vacuum it yourself”, but in the end - there is no cleaning in the rooms, even when they entered your room. We checked in, there were crumbs from previous guests on the carpet, so they spent the whole vacation there, and all the cleaning of the room, which was 3 times in our 7 days, these crumbs easily survived. Cleaning in the room: they sprinkle some kind of product from a bottle, leave a small soap, and a roll of toilet paper. I fill all the beds with a white barakan so that I don’t sit on the sheets during the day, so the cleaners spoiled it for me, pulled the barakan, and on the edge of the bed they made something out of it. I had to make the bed on a new one, by myself. We did not change the bed linen, but this is not necessary. I change sheets at home even less often, just like you at home, so 7 days on one sheet is not a problem at all. Towels once brought one clean set - thank you, but we haven’t stained those 4 yet. So he lay in the closet, clean - unused.

The management of the hotel should increase the salary of the cleaners, and clearly explain their duties, and then make sure that this is carried out. Since now with the cleaning, it's a mess.
13. Hamam and beach towels. We did not go to Hamam, it is paid. But, for guests there is a free sauna service from 14:00 to 18:00. It's very good because the swimming pool is nearby. You can sit in the sauna for 10 minutes and take a dip in the pool, highly recommend. In the first 2 days, my daughter drank cold water and began to cough. For 2 days they took her to the sauna for 7-8 minutes, she survived, 4-5 times a day - the cough went away.
But beach towels are not beach towels, they are too small and it is inconvenient to use them for sunbeds. They are issued on bail, $10 for each towel. You leave, return the towels to the hammam, they give you the money. We brought 2 normal size beach towels with us. They went to the beach with them, took 2 more towels of theirs from the hotel, and they were used on the sunbeds by the pool. In general, the hotel management needs to deal with towels somehow. On our beach, almost all vacationers, like us, with their own towels, as a result, all the sunbeds are multi-colored, and our beach has a homeless look. It is necessary to get beach towels large and the same, give them to everyone upon check-in, voluntarily-compulsorily take a deposit from people for them, for example, $ 10 for everything, we return towels upon check-out, we get our money. But, so that everyone has the same and comfortable towels.
14. Hotel name. Elit Life Hotel - it is written in large letters on the facade, it is also found in other sources on the hotel. And everywhere they write this word with an error. ELITE, not Elit!

15. Hotel guests. Rest there in the majority - poor Russians, with children, and older couples. There are much fewer of us Ukrainians there. Moreover, Ukraine is a poorer country, we usually go for 7 nights, it’s good that they collected for 7. Yes, and what is there to fly, an hour and a half from Odessa, two hours from Kyiv. But the Russians arrive from afar, and therefore they take vouchers for 10 or more nights. The audience in the hotel is unstoppable, simple, both ours and Russians, and therefore the company of people is mostly pleasant. Everyone communicates with each other, polite, you can exchange details about our life, listen to their stories. The topic of our war was not raised. Thank you all for that.
