We rested with friends in the amount of seven people at the Fame Hotel in Kemer. The choice of the hotel took place within two weeks and was accompanied by numerous disputes between us. After the meetings, we decided to stay at Fame - we were attracted by the price, good reviews, location in the very center of Kemer and the opportunity to have fun and eat at Fame Residence Park.
Six out of seven vacationers were in Turkey for the first time. We bought a ticket from the tour operator Pegas Touristik, rested at the end of September 2010, flew back and forth on the IL-86 by the Donavia airline. Flight and check-in at the airport was successful. We drove to the hotel on a meeting bus in about 1 hour and were at the hotel around 10.30. Three people were settled immediately upon arrival at the hotel in the main building. I understood why this room was free. it is on the second floor (in fact, from the window it turns out the first floor, because the hotel is located in a kind of lowland). The windows overlooked the street (the road, neighboring houses and mountains) and the entrance for the hotel's guests, besides, the security guard from the hotel always sat opposite. Everyone passing by constantly looked at our windows, so our windows were curtained. Because of this, we did not change the number, because. and so they rarely appeared there, and we did not find fault with any trifles. The remaining group of our comrades was settled first for one night in a family room with four beds on the fourth floor, but the next morning they were immediately moved to two separate rooms on our second floor. We were all together and close. We were satisfied with our floor, because. there was no need to go far and climb high. Every day they cleaned the room and made bows out of blankets, changed towels regularly, vacuumed the carpet in the room, changed the ashtray. Nothing was missing from our room, but five packs of cigarettes from the block disappeared from friends in the room. We left a couple of times $ 1 for cleaning - the quality did not change. Be sure to bring your own shampoo and who needs a hair dryer. There is shampoo, but in very small vials for one use. You can ask for a hair dryer at the reception, but for speed and convenience it is better to have your own.
The Fame hotel is for those who create their own recreation and entertainment. The location of the hotel is excellent: next to the most popular discos Aura and Inferno (on foot from the four 3 min. walk), parks with fountains and bridges, shops and shops and, of course, amazing sea views. The contingent of vacationers is mostly young, but there are also old dilapidated old women with children who hung from the balcony at 9 pm and said that it was very noisy and could not all talk more quietly, because. At their age, sleep is very important. But such fearless grannies were immediately put in their place. The elderly during the day in the hotel is not visible at all, They hung out at the sea from six in the morning. We liked the sea madly, the purest water and when you swim to the buoys, you can see the bottom and various fish, turtles, crabs. True, I once saw a floating poop, but it was an isolated case, but it stuck in my memory. Sunbathing calmly on the beach is simply impossible, the first row of sunbeds is occupied almost from five in the morning, and each sunbed is tightly pushed to the other. If someone needs to pass, then you have to tighten your legs or put the sunbed in a sitting position. Therefore, we went to the sea for hours at 4 pm until delicious ice cream and just swam with masks to the buoys and back. If someone's main requirement is a beach holiday, then Fame 3 and 4 are definitely not for you. We didn’t particularly like the pool of the four, especially since people constantly walk around it and look at you chewing vacationers. We spent most of the time swimming in the Fame 3 pool. The sun loungers by the pool are always free and the pool is deep. We dived and did all kinds of somersaults.

The food at Fame is delicious and varied. Pastries, cakes, cakes amaze with their deliciousness and beauty. From meat they gave only chicken and turkey, the rest was all soy, but very tasty. You need to choose from salads, there are delicious ones, but there are also for an amateur with various sauces. You could make your own salads from various ingredients; olive oil, mayonnaise, sauces and herbs were in separate containers. There is always chopped cheese and sausage. For lunch, they always give two types of pureed starch soups. From fruits pears, apples, plums, tangerines, melon and grapes. Although the guy from Kursk, who had a rest in our hotel and was not the first time in Turkey, said that there was little choice of dishes and the menu was repeated. Nevertheless, each of us recovered after arriving at home, because. It is simply impossible to limit yourself in food. Also, beer (Efes Pilsener) and carbonated drinks (Pepsi, Spreit) are poured into foam cups during the day and only into glass cups in the evening - this outraged many vacationers. In the evenings every other day, Fame Residence Park arranged an entertainment program and a disco for vacationers.
We bought all the souvenirs in the nearest shops. Sellers pester you with their price offers. Many people try to get to know each other. Girls in souvenir shops are pinned on T-shirts with pins from the evil eye with various beads. The more tanned, the cheaper the price - it means you have already asked the price and you know what and how much it costs. Magnets and key chains $1-3, Turkey T-shirts $5-7, oriental sweets $1-15, oranges 1 kg $2, cigarettes $3-4, sunflower seeds $1-2. We also went from Pegasus to the State Shopping Center for free (so the bus guide said), where the quality of things is supposedly excellent and prices are low. We did not see cheap prices, they struck us with their high cost. The guide told us that 90% of things in Turkey are made in China and only in state centers we can buy quality things. I was looking for a bathing suit there. One of the most inexpensive and nicest ones cost $85, but there were no smaller sizes either.
Our guide from Pegasus was Alexander Mamaladze with a most unpleasant voice, which was simply disgusting to all of us, all the vacationers complained about him. He was simply not interested in the complaints of tourists, or maybe he was already used to them. He diligently tried to sell more excursions, which cost 3 times more in the hotel than in all local travel agencies. The two grannies who lived with us in the hotel were simply forgotten on the shore on a sailing excursion from Pegasus. For two days they could not calm down from indignation. Alexander practically does not give information about the hotel, and if he does, it is false (he said that we cannot use the sauna of the Fame Resident 5 * hotel, but in fact it was possible). After we refused to buy a tour from him, he told us that as tourists we do not exist for him. Then he began to threaten us with “repressions”, and what the Turks could do to us at night, and then he announced that he would not give us our tourist vouchers. As a result, we bought from him an excursion to the cable car (Mount Tahtali) for $ 55. This is the only excursion that is practically the same price as the local one in travel agencies (costs $50). After that, Alexander calmed down and no longer paid any attention to us and turned his face away at random meetings.
We took the rest of the excursions at a travel agency: ATVs - $ 25 (if you wish, prepare an additional disk with a photo from the trip and a video for $ 20 for everything), Demre-Mira-Kekova - $ 25 (additional optional entrance to the church of St. Nikolai - $7, a photo on a plate on a yacht - $10, a shrimp appetizer on a stick - $15), rafting - $15 (additionally for 1 photo $5, a video disc $25). On ATVs, do not forget to bring a handkerchief, sunglasses and dress not in everything new, because. very dusty and you will be dirty from the feet up to the helmet (a handkerchief can be bought on the spot for $3). For rafting, wear shoes that hold well on your feet (not flip flops), otherwise you will be forced to rent shoes for $ 3, or you can simply lose them in a mountain stream; You can't get on the boat without shoes. At the top of Mount Tahtali, the temperature is +10, so some took sweaters, but the sun was very hot and we were not cold. There are even sun loungers where you can sunbathe. All excursions from this agency were accompanied by Turkish guides, they not only speak Russian well, but also constantly joke. Maxwvell had a promotion that if you take the 4th tour from them, the discount will be 45%. We wanted to take the fourth, but we were denied a discount and so many people wanted to, and we spent all the remaining money on Turkish sweets and purchases in DUTY FREE. I also really wanted to go to Pamukkale, but because of the long road from Kemer, we abandoned this idea. When we went rafting for 2.5 hours only in one direction, the road tired us.

I really enjoyed my vacation in Turkey. She met us with excellent weather, magnificent landscapes and a good attitude of the local population. Liked the hotel! All in all it was fun. Impressions and photos left a whole sea!
