We have been vacationing in Turkey for three years now. And the first time I was just delighted, despite the fact that our hotel was very weak (3 *). Then I liked everything.
However, it seems that every year the quality of rest in Turkey is deteriorating more and more. On our last vacation, we were 100% convinced of this!
We rested in June 2007, and it was our honeymoon. So that it was not boring, we took our friends with us (a married couple, they had never been to Turkey). They also tried to choose a hotel: so that it was 5 *, and in the city center, and the price was not very terrible. Fame Residence Kemer suited us both in terms of price and description. In addition, we asked our travel agency to indicate in the voucher that we were newlyweds.
Resettlement. Upon arrival, after an hour of waiting, one of the hotel managers Marina approached us and said that the hotel was overloaded and there were no free rooms yet.
We were offered 2 options: 1) to live in an annex for a couple of days (this is such an additional building next to the hotel, they have it like 4 *, in fact, it barely pulls on 3 *); 2) all four move into the family room. After two or three days, we were promised rooms with sea views, a free massage session and another free dinner at a restaurant.
