I will build my review on the principle of "what you expected - what you got. " I rested in this hotel in June 2011 with my sister, friends recommended it to us and we were satisfied with everything. I wanted a hotel in the city, so that along the territory (I'm not chasing huge territories) there was where to walk - Golden Lotus is really located in the center of Kemer and my sister and I went for walks in the city, to shops - it's quite safe, yes, the Turks stare , but if you behave decently and do not respond to calls, then they do not cling and no one is missing by the hand - everything is quite democratic.
It is very important for me that the area where I rest is pleasing to the eye - Kemer is very picturesque: orange alleys, lemon, pomegranate trees, a riot of colors of nature, mountains, the azure sea - all this is Kemer.
Rooms. It is important for me that it was clean, new, tidy - it was. Upon arrival (it was around 9 in the morning, their time), we were told that there were no free rooms yet and offered to go in for breakfast, the tables were still set. We did just that, after we went to the reception and we were immediately escorted to the room. The rooms were cleaned every day, even though we didn't always leave a tip. In fact, I was there a little - just come to change clothes, take a shower and spend the night.

Service. I am a cultured and sympathetic person and I expect this from others - the staff pleased me. My sister noticed that the TV was not working - they immediately came and fixed it there, the TV worked fine. There was a case, after dinner, a drunken Russian man burst into our room, he mixed up the numbers, and tried to restore balance and get into our room (thinking that he was) in the room, he behaved very aggressively, we even became scared. We called the reception - immediately one of the staff came up and, in spite of everything, very politely and patiently led this man to his room. In general, everyone was friendly.
Contingent. I wanted youth... but no. There were few young people, we got to know each other and stayed together all the rest. Mostly there were family people and those over 40. Although maybe because it’s not quite the youth season, I don’t know...
Nightlife. They wanted parties - they got it. There are no discos on the territory - you can sleep quietly and calmly at night, and they are not needed there - literally a stone's throw away is a series of nightclubs. We went to 2 of them, I don't remember the names. We got to the performances of our Ukrainian pop groups - "ViaGra" (the entrance fee was $15) and "Quest Pistles" ($10). Everything is expensive in clubs - a deposit of a table with sofas is $1000. Whiskey and cola costs $20. It's also very important to know! If your company wants to leave the table, move away to dance, then the waiter will remove everything from the table - even drinks that have just been brought, slightly drunk, cigarettes - it does not matter if they are in a pack or it is empty, they will simply remove it, so do not leave the table with your drinks unattended and cigarettes for a second. There are naturally a lot of Turks in the clubs, but I would not say that they are intrusive, they do not touch anyone, everything happens through dialogue, if you politely but clearly understand that they are not interesting to you, they will understand. Of course, there is complete debauchery - I watched the picture (sorry for the slang, but there’s no other way) - how the Turks tipped drunken Russian heifers, licked them in turn, pawed both their chests and what was in Trks. This is not common, but it does happen. You need to understand that some young ladies, not having a pleasant appearance, go there to break away and make up for the lack of male attention.
In general, we are satisfied. This is one of the most solid first line hotels, in my opinion.
