Who does the author recommend the hotel to?: For a relaxing holiday; For recreation with friends, for young people
We stayed in this hotel for a week. We went on vacation, knowing in advance that we were going on a cheap ticket and did not expect much luxury. But I think it's worth talking about some significant shortcomings of our trip. Hotel: In general, living conditions were not bad. The rooms are clean, the walls are not worn out, there are no unpleasant odors. Location of the hotel: about 300-350 m to the sea, about 50 meters to the beach, far away, but the hotel is located away from others and therefore there is less fuss and noise, especially if the windows overlook the backyard. We were always quiet. View from the window to the mountains, the village and the sea. The hotel is not located in Kemer, but in the village of Beldibi, where almost all tourists are Russian-speaking. Kemer is about 15 kilometers away. There is practically nothing to see in Beldibi. The paths in the corridors of the hotel are worn out and it is tastelessly furnished. Some clay deer and a vase with artificial flowers are one of the few "design" items. The music near the bar is loud and sucks, some kind of Russian pop is often played, which makes you sick. I think that it would be better to play good Turkish music as a background (not loudly! ) so that vacationers feel the flavor of Turkey more vividly. Or is there no good Turkish music in Turkey??? ? Service: Hotel workers try to please visitors, smiling. The broken air conditioner was immediately replaced without question, which made us very happy. The only drawback is that the plates, during the meal, were simply taken from under the nose, without waiting for the person to chew : (. But if they are told 3 times that they don’t need to pick up the plate, the staff starts asking before picking it up : ). Food: The food is tasteless, the meat was two or three times and then not in its pure form, but with stewed vegetables. For those who write comments like "And what did you come there to eat? " I want to popularly explain that good and tasty food is an integral part of a good holiday. . It is better to let it be a moderate amount, but let it be of high quality !! ! Coming to a foreign country, you want to try the sweet fruits that grow there, drink real brewed coffee, try national dishes, and these soy cakes in the form of sliced sausages, flour soups, salads smeared with mayonnaise, sour beetroot and eggplant salad served in the morning are simply disgusting to food. This is IMPOSSIBLE! Of the fruits were not ripe enough watermelons and melons. It was possible to eat only vegetables, bread, main dishes (eggplant stew, potatoes, rice) and eggs for breakfast. As far as I can guess, this food is not cooked in the hotel itself. Perhaps the hotel is served by some Catering company. I believe that in order to save its reputation, the hotel needs to provide only high-quality and tasty breakfasts and say goodbye forever to this "far-fetched" All inclusive. If you can not provide food for such a ticket price - then do not deceive people! General impression: Turkey is an interesting country, a country of contrasts. Safe enough. In order to see and fall in love with it, it is not necessary to go to a 5 star hotel. If you are interested in how and how the Turks of the larger southern city live, you can go to Antalya (bus 28 to the Migros stop, cost $ 1.5 per person, and then on bus 4 to the old city $ 1 per person). It's not worth taking free tours there at all. Always and for everything you need to bargain. Real Turkish sweets are very tasty, but expensive (they start haggling from $100 per kilo! : )), the price can be dropped to $25 per kilo. But it's worth a try. Cheap nuts drenched in jelly with dye, which are offered to vacationers in the bazaars, cannot be compared with the original sweets !! ! Also, you should not buy fruits in the bazaars out of season - they are tasteless and watery. I believe that this is also a kind of deception when you buy a kilo of grapes for 1.5-2 dollars and they tell you that they are sweet, but when you taste it, you are amazed at how ugly it is. The same applies to figs in early July. Souvenirs in Beldibi are also of poor quality. It's better not to buy anything at all if you are not sure about the quality of the goods : ) The sea, no doubt, is very beautiful and warm! I wish you all a good holiday in Turkey!
