Hello. This time we can safely say that the money was not spent in vain and the rest was a success! We rested together with my husband from October 1 to October 8.2017.
The weather during this period is simply magnificent. During the day +24-28, at night +18-22.
As usual, I'll try to be as detailed as possible.
TERRITORY. The hotel area is not large, but very green, well-groomed and tidy
RECEPTION. This hotel is the perfect solution. No language problems or misunderstandings. In all divisions: reception, sauna, bars, dining room, maids..... the staff spoke Russian. The thing is that the hotel management has entered into an agreement with HoReCa training centers (hotels, bars, restaurants) in Kazakhstan to provide jobs for service personnel in this hotel. All staff were fluent in Russian, English, German. There may be more, but I don't know about it)).
Of course, the Turkish staff had rather big problems with the language....But since there were more than half of the guys from Kazakhstan, it was practically not felt.
All questions were always resolved instantly and adequately, with a friendly, not strained smile.
HALL. Very beautiful, majestic design of the hotel not only extends to its architecture but also to the decoration of the hotel itself. The entire hotel is in marble, but it is not visually cold, the solution is chosen so well that a feeling of extraordinary warmth and splendor is created. The hall is very large with lots of sofas and armchairs. If suddenly someone did not have enough space, he can safely go out to the veranda and relax on no less comfortable wicker sofas or go to the lobby bar. In the hotel itself you can find a fairly large number of different shops where you can buy (at a price multiplied by 2-3 times) toys, swimwear, outerwear, jewelry, handbags....There is also a small supermarket, but with very biting prices.
WI-FI The hotel provides free WI-FI on the territory of the reception and in the lobby bar, there is also a little bit at the pool. The speed is high enough. But there is a BUT. The Internet is designed for a certain number of users (no more than 20-30 people). As soon as this number is exceeded, it begins to "knock out" everyone in turn, in the end it becomes simply impossible to access the Internet. It is best to use the Internet before breakfast, late in the evening, or when everyone has gone to the dining room. You can order WI-FI in the room. But this service is paid.
BARS. The hotel has 4 bars. Lobby bar (open until 2 am), night bar (from 24-00 until morning), pool bar (from 10-00 to 18-00) and beach bar. There is also a cafeteria where you can taste all kinds of sweets, drink delicious coffee and cocoa from 15-00 to 17-00 (no alcoholic drinks) All bars except the beach bar have alcoholic drinks. On the beach only artificial juices and beer. Of alcoholic beverages, only local production is provided free of charge. All imported alcoholic drinks are chargeable.
SERVICES. SPA center. Here you can visit two types of free saunas - regular and Finnish. Massage - for a fee. Free gym with all kinds of equipment. DOCTOR'S SERVICES - at a phenomenal price - 70 euros examination! Do not be ill! )))
SWIMMING POOL. Simply gorgeous - of various depths with all kinds of bridges and alluring blue water. There is a separate children's water slide - it is never empty. Joyful children's faces and a lot of fun.
ROOM. We had a double room. Very tidy and homey. Everything is clean. Cleaning was done every day. Change of linen every 3 days. A huge double bed with a chic thick orthopedic mattress is the best place to relax. Many thanks to the architects and financiers of this hotel, for not being stingy and making good walls with excellent sound insulation. Can't hear neighbors! - this is a very important factor for rest! You can also safely go out onto the balcony and not be afraid that you will have to say hello to all the neighbors. The walls on the balcony are brick, protruding slightly forward, which creates the effect of privacy, and the magnificent view of the mountains from the balcony gives a feeling of peace of mind. In the bathroom, everything is thought out to the most pleasant trifles, such as: shower gel, balm, soap, shampoo, ear sticks, bath slippers, a huge number of snow-white towels that simply did not have time to get dirty. A small drawback is that there is soap, but soap dishes are not provided, we had to put soap on cardboard packaging, it naturally became limp and it was not very pleasant. An excellent hair dryer is the final step in the adoption of bath procedures.
ANIMATION. The hotel management did a great job to raise the animation to such a high level. Not a single day passed without activities: dancing, karaoke, all kinds of competitions and entertainment. Your children will also never be left behind. Animators have time for everyone! Of course, it does not do without morning exercises in the pool and on the beach, water games and basketball. Organization of events at the highest level! Don't get bored!
BEACH. The beach is 200 meters from the hotel. The area is not big, but well-maintained. Wooden paths to sun loungers are a very good solution for comfortable walking along the beach. The beach is sand and pebble with large pebbles. At the entrance to the water there are also large pebbles. If you have delicate feet, then I recommend to take special shoes with you. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. Already at a distance of 4-5 meters, the depth reaches 2 meters. A small natural minus - after 17-30.18-00 the mountains close the sun on the beach.
LOCATION OF THE HOTEL. The hotel is located in the village of Goynuk. The mountains are located in such a way that they protect the village from strong winds and clouds. Thunderclouds seem to accumulate on the tops of the mountains (you can see this phenomenon in the photo) Even when it rains in neighboring settlements, not a drop may fall in Goynuk.
NEAREST ATTRACTIONS.
I will not call shops sights - there are quite a lot of them here, but prices are much higher than in Antalya. Therefore, if there is a desire to go shopping, it is better to spend an hour and visit Antalya.
In the village of Goynuk there is a beautiful canyon with blue, clear lakes, extraordinary nature, pure pine air and, of course, mountains. There you can enjoy the magnificent beauties of nature, swim (of course with instructors) in a wetsuit through the canyon and take the best photos for memory.
Not far from the village of Goynuk (about an hour drive) you can visit the old town of Phaselis. The majesty of the ruins of the old city will not leave anyone indifferent. The feeling of being in history is truly mesmerizing. The bay with the purest water beckons to swim, and real pirate ships make you get lost in time. When you climb into the preserved amphitheater, with every cell of your body you experience a bewitching feeling of the strength and power of the gladiators of that time, who fought to the death for the amusement of the public.
