Vacationing in July 2018
1. Location. The hotel is located in the city of Kemer, on the 4th or even 5th line from the sea, walk to the sea for about 6 minutes. The place is quiet, there are no very noisy clubs nearby, although you can hear the music. But since it was hot, our balcony was always closed so that the air conditioner could work. If you leave the balcony open at night and in the morning, you will hear the songs from the two mosques very well. We just listened : )
2. Number. The hotel has two three-story buildings and in the reviews I read that the second one has been renovated, but the first one has not yet been. We were settled in the first one (in which there is a lobby and reception), we have not been in the second building, but we saw that there are brand new doors in the rooms everywhere. Our room was on the 3rd floor and overlooking the mountains from two sides, our pool and the park. The view from the balcony is wonderful, but because of the heat, we rarely sat there.

I would not call the room old - the furniture is not super new, but everything is whole and in excellent condition, the air conditioner is brand new. The only thing is that the bathroom is all old, except for the washbasin. The shower room barely closed, the toilet staggered, the shower was ancient. But this did not create any inconvenience. Apart from the fact that there were no hooks at all and there was one tiny shelf by the mirror, there were no shelves at all in the shower room. We asked to attach at least hooks to us, but nothing was done. The bathroom provided several jars of shampoo and soap.
Wi-Fi is free, but only works in the lobby, and then intermittently. Our room was right above the reception, so it got a little bit in the room.
There is no iron in the hotel, but we were told that for a modest fee, the cleaning girls themselves would iron things for us (we never took advantage of this offer). There was no refrigerator, but upon check-in it was possible to pay for a refrigerator in the room - $ 1 per day - we decided that we did not need it.
4. Staff. Very nice people work at the hotel. First of all, this is the main receptionist who works during the daytime (at night he is replaced by a guy who barely speaks broken English and knows a few words in Russian). A very pleasant and friendly man, always asked how things were going, answered all questions with a smile, often talked with the guests. When we checked in, he took our suitcases to the 3rd floor (there is no elevator).
Also, the guys who work in the kitchen, they are also waiters, did their job very cool, quickly collected dirty dishes, if some dishes were already missing, you could tell them, then they were in a hurry more.
The cook walked with a serious look and often commented on something indistinctly, but if he was addressed with a question or a request, he answered friendly. He often made sure to add food to the trays where it ended in time.
5. Cleaning. Was every day - they washed the floors, took away the garbage, added toilet paper, made the bed, wiped the dust off the bedside tables and pokie. Towels and bedding have never been changed for 6 days, but I don’t see anything wrong with that.
Tip: do not leave anything on the floor in the bathroom - cleaners automatically perceive this as garbage. So, without a second thought, they took my bag with shower accessories, then they searched in the general garbage : )) They found it - the cleaning lady did not understand what was happening at all)

6. Nutrition. Three meals a day and no bar. Breakfast is standard - fresh and canned vegetables, olives, cheeses, boiled eggs, jams, honey, butter, cereal with milk, less often - scrambled eggs with vegetables. For lunch and dinner, there was always something meaty, sometimes with pork (probably, I don’t understand, maybe it was beef : )), and there were always fresh fruits instead of dessert - watermelon, melon, less often - apricots, plums, oranges. There were always fresh vegetables and herbs, there were potatoes, rice. There was often soup. Always delicious fresh bread. Coffee, tea and yuppies were always available, we often went to the food area before going to bed to sit and drink tea. You will definitely not stay hungry, there was a problem not to overeat : ).
The area with tables is completely outside, so they came to take a table in the shade under an awning in advance - at least half an hour, or even earlier if you didn’t want to sit in the scorching sun - and in July it’s even early in the morning.
If you have an early check-out from the hotel and you do not have time for breakfast, ask the reception in advance to prepare a “lunch box” for you in the morning. We had an orange, a small juice of 200 ml, a cupcake in a package - such a breakfast, but better than nothing.
7. Pool. Every day it was cleaned and filled with bleach. I am not a fan of the pool when there is the sea, so I have never swum, but people from the hotel were always there, especially those with children. There were not enough sun loungers, so those who came earlier are sunbathing.
8. Beach. The hotel has an agreement with a beach cafe-bar, which is located near the port with yachts. There are free sunbeds for hotel residents. This beach, of course, is located at the end of the promenade, but it's still better than if it didn't exist at all. On the beach, the guys from the cafe clean up, sometimes the sunbeds are washed. You can also take a table to your sunbed.
It is better to come to the beach in the morning before 8:30 approximately - later there are almost no sunbeds, because several more hotels + just cafe guests go to this beach for free.
In general - the hotel is good, we were satisfied. There were no terrible minuses that could spoil the rest, so I advise the hotel to people who want a budget holiday without frills, but at the same time want to relax in comfort.
