To begin with, I previously rested in the city of Kemer, 4 stars, and on the budget this time I also wanted to get a quality comfortable hotel that would really live up to its 4 stars. I don’t consider options for 3 stars in principle, but as it turned out, you shouldn’t pay any attention to the number of stars at all... The same hotel, Matiate, does not pull on its 4 stars, it doesn’t even reach 3...
So, we arrived at this hotel with our parents, who lived in a separate room, and I in a separate one. We were supposed to have two economy rooms, without balconies, which we were aware of in advance. When we went to the reception, we were met by two frostbitten and rude men, Turks who do not know Russian and are used to turning on fools for all questions and claims. Perhaps the first negative surprise was paid Wi-Fi, for which you need to shell out 10 bucks, and in other hotels there is no such impudence. In Matiata, they simply take advantage of the fact that tourists need the Internet, and they will pay for it anyway. They also delayed the check-in very much, we waited two hours until they settled us, apparently they wanted a tip, but there could be no talk of any tip after such a "warm" reception. In general, in the end, a teenage guy with a very dull stone face took our suitcases and dragged them to another building of the hotel, which is located near the second pool. The situation in the room was just terrible, the parents had a huge crack in the ceiling in the room, the showers did not close, the doors were held on by snot, or rather, once upon a time they probably still moved as expected, but nothing is known about this. In my room there was a shower cubicle without doors, or rather, instead of doors, a curtain was attached, which looks very poor, and not just cheap and cheerful. The rooms were somehow cleaned, for appearances, no one was particularly tense there. The beds were changed, the garbage was taken out and thanks for that. Hangers deserve special attention, which are two stick-knitting needles attached to the wall and staggering in different directions. It is impossible to hang anything on these sticks, as the linen falls down. Done just for show. The rooms have towels, hot water, liquid soap, foot towels. By the way changed towels often, surprisingly, but somehow selectively. One day they could change one towel and leave the rest, and the next day they could come and change everything. The rooms were also cleaned regularly, once every two days, but very carelessly: they went in, quickly wiped them with a rag, took away the garbage, and left. In my room, after two days of stay, the water in the toilet stopped flushing, and the batteries from the remote control in the air conditioner stopped working. By the way, the air conditioners are ancient, weak, and breathable. To cool the room, you need to wait a while.
The situation upset us, because we paid a lot of money for this vacation, for which we could have settled in a decent hotel with much better conditions and service, but this is the problem of our tour operator, which we will never contact again.

The second day of our stay began with breakfast, my father and I were sitting at the table, and a Turk selling juices approached us, we thought it was just a waiter who put three juices on our table. Without suspecting anything, we drank this drink, after which this "businessman" demanded money from us - three dollars for three juices!! ! And nowhere is it indicated that it is paid, and the person silently put the juices on and left. Of course, we went to the administrator, who is in the “kent” with this cunning, and began to run into us, saying that we were sorry for three dollars. We were supposed to be given a printout at the reception when checking in, where paid services are indicated, but of course, no one gave it to us. We were outraged and wanted to find out why they didn’t give it to us, we spoke in a raised voice, he began to behave completely inappropriately, crushed this paper with a price list and threw it into the trash, kicked me and my mother out of the office and slammed the door, a little more, and I I thought that he would raise his hand... Of course, there was no longer any desire to have anything with this person. As a result, we paid three bucks to this cunning, after which he was like silk all the time of our stay and went around making eyes, getting me, calling me on dates, to the beach, to a club, etc. , which obviously strained all the time. I mean, be careful with this guy. They take juice from him poorly, and he works according to such a scheme that he recognizes new ones, and immediately imposes his product on them, waits for you to drink it, and not just asks, but DEMANDS money and threatens with problems.
As for the cuisine, it is varied here, but the products are far from always fresh. Many salads and side dishes are sour. The products are spoiled, but in general, among the variety, you can choose a normal dish and eat. Delicious desserts, white and red wine from alcohol. The second is better not to take, after it was bad. From meat only chicken and some terrible sausages, soy. A lot of vegetables, cheeses, olives, in principle, you won’t die of hunger there, and you won’t get poisoned, thank God, although who knows...
There is also a snack bar open at noon when the kitchen is closed. They serve hamburgers and flatbread. All in all, not bad, even tasty.
Do not think that you will be able to sleep if your room is located near the stage. You can fall asleep only after the music, which ends here at 00:00. early in the morning at 4:00 roosters begin to roar and wake up the local tourists.
The pools, of which there are two, are constantly crowded with people, especially children, but in general you can take a seat, there are a lot of sunbeds. I have never seen the slides work, although I was of little interest.
The beach is a separate issue. This hotel has a separate lane, very narrow, the entrance to the sea is very bad, with stones, so you can seriously get hurt. I would also like to say separately about the rednecks who sell their bananas and parachutes there. So, they go around and constantly impose their services, you tell them no, they do not understand and begin to be rude. This is very annoying and prevents you from truly resting and relaxing, enjoying the moment and the sea. Sunbeds here also need to be booked in time, but I think that this is the case in all hotels, and this is, in principle, a normal phenomenon. Toilets on the beach exhaust the fetid odor, you can not go there without a gas mask. Dirt everywhere, they don't clean it, they don't watch it. There is free water and drinks on the beach, which is a very positive thing.

In conclusion, I want to say that after this holiday I will probably become more experienced and smarter, I will choose hotels more carefully. It just didn’t occur to me that 4 stars could turn out to be a weak C grade... In general, of course, the vacation was a success, and even this terrible hotel did not spoil it, because the nature of Kemer is very beautiful and we went on excursions, there were positive memories and pleasant impressions about the sea, Turkey, Kemer, but not about the Matiate hotel... Therefore, I never recommend this hotel to anyone, no matter whether you are a picky person or not. The management here is only engaged in chopping cabbage, wants to make money on everything, they don’t care about tourists and they don’t even hide it, and show their dissatisfaction with a straight face. The impression of the staff is extremely negative and very unpleasant. You can close your eyes to some everyday issues, but NEVER to the attitude of the staff, because this is the face of the hotel, and it is very ugly here.
